  • In this paper we develop a new robust trajectory tracking control scheme without using joint velocity. The proposed controller doesn´t employ adaptation, Therefore, the construction of the controller becomed very simple. Moreover, by using numerical simulation, we make sure the effectiveness of the proposed controller in the presence of quantization errors.

  • 본 논문에서는 추적 레이더시스템의 핵심부품인 L대역 로터리조인트의 설계를 다룬다. 로터리조인트는 추적 시스템 안테나 회전부에 장착되어 회전하는 안테나와 고정된 신호처리부를 연결하는 구성품으로 안테나의 회전시에도 꼬임이 없이 RF신호를 원활하게 전달하는 주요부품이다. 로터리조인트의 신호 삽입손실을 개선하기 위해, 유전체 종류, 급전분배링 형상 및 유전체 형상 등을 다양하게 수정하였다. 제안한 로터로조인트는 해외 도입품과 비교하여 향상된 성능을 확인하였다. 도입품 로터리조인트의 최대 삽입손실은 1.26dB이었으나, 본 논문에서 제안한 로터리조인트의 최대 삽입손실은 0.68dB로 도입품 대비 약 46%정도 개선되는 것을 확인하였다.

용접선 추적 비전장치를 이용한 원형-사각 파이프의 T형 조인트 레이저용접 (T-joint Laser Welding of Circular and Square Pipes Using the Vision Tracking System)

  • Because of its fast and precise welding performance, laser welding is becoming a new excellent welding method. However, the precise focusing and robust seam tracking are required to apply laser welding to the practical fields. In order to laser weld a type of T joint like a circular pipe on a square pipe, which could be met in the three dimensional structure such as an aluminum space frame, a visual sensor system was developed for automation of focusing and seam tracking. The developed sensor system consists of a digital CCD camera, a structured laser, and a vision processor. It is moved and positioned by a 2-axis motorized stage, which is attached to a 6 axis robot manipulator with a laser welding head. After stripe-type structured laser illuminates a target surface, images are captured through the digital CCD camera. From the image, seam error and defocusing error are calculated using image processing algorithms which includes efficient techniques handling continuously changed image patterns. These errors are corrected by the stage off-line during welding or teaching. Laser welding of a circular pipe on a square pipe was successful with the vision tracking system by reducing the path positioning and de focusing errors due to the robot teaching or a geometrical variation of specimens and jig holding.

A Study on the Image Processing of Visual Sensor for Weld Seam Tracking in GMA Welding

  • In this study, a preview-sensing visual sensor system is constructed far weld seam tracking in GMA welding. The visual sensor system consists of a CCD camera, a diode laser system with a cylindrical lens, and a band-pass-filter to overcome the degrading of image due to spatters and/or arc light. Among the image processing methods, Hough transform method is compared with the central difference method from a viewpoint of the capability for extracting the accurate feature position. As a result, it was revealed that Hough transform method can more accurately extract the feature positions and it can be applied to real time weld seam tracking. Image processing which includes Hough transform method is carried out to extract straight lines that express laser stripe. After extracting the lines, weld joint position and edge points are determined by intersecting the lines. Even though the image includes a spatter trace on it, it is possible to recognize the position of weld joint. Weld seam tracking was precisely implemented with adopting Hough transform method, and it is possible to track the weld seam in the case of offset angle is in the region of $\pm$ $15^{\circ}$.

  • In this paper, we propose an optimal method for the tracking a trajectory of the end-effector of flexible robot arms with multiple joints. The proposed method finds joint trajectories and joint torques necessary to produce the desired end-effector motion of flexible manipulator. In inverse kinematics, optimized joint trajectories are computed from elastic equations. In inverse dynamics, joint torques are obtained from the joint equations by using the optimized joint trajectories. The equations of motion using finite element method and virtual work principle are employed. Optimal control is applied to optimize joint trajectories which are computed in inverse kinematics. The simulation of flexible planner manipulator is presented.

GMA 용접로봇용 용접선 시각 추적 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Visual Sensor System for Weld Seam Tracking in Robotic GMA Welding)

  • In this study, we constructed a visual sensor system for weld seam tracking in real time in GMA welding. A sensor part consists of a CCD camera, a band-pass filter, a diode laser system with a cylindrical lens, and a vision board for inter frame process. We used a commercialized robot system which includes a GMA welding machine. To extract the weld seam we used a inter frame process in vision board from that we could remove the noise due to the spatters and fume in the image. Since the image was very reasonable by using the inter frame p개cess, we could use the simplest way to extract the weld seam from the image, such as first differential and central difference method. Also we used a moving average method to the successive position data or weld seam for reducing the data fluctuation. In experiment the developed robot system with visual sensor could be able to track a most popular weld seam. such as a fillet-joint, a V-groove, and a lap-joint of which weld seam include planar and height directional variation.

  • This paper presents a motion planning algorithm for conveyor tracking. We formulate the problem as the linear quadratic tracking problem in optimal control theory and solve it through dynamic programming. In the proposed algorithm, the steady-state tracking error is eliminated completely, and the joint torque, velocity, acceleration, and jerks are considered as some constraints. Numerical examples are then presented to demonstrate the utility of the proposed motion planning algorithm.

  • A new control scheme is developed to achieve fast and accurate decoupled tracking for an n-Joint robotic manipulator In the Presence of disturbances and unknown Parameter variations. The control system is designed so that a new type of state trajectories called sliding mode may exist in a phase plane. In order to remove the reaching Phase and high frequency chattering phenomenon which ate the common shortcomings of variable structure control(VSC) scheme, this paper presents the new switching line which is composed of three segments and the continuous control law which is derived from the existence condition of a sliding mode. The Proposed methods in this Paper are applied to a 3-Joint robotic manipulator as a numerical example-The digital simulation results which are compared with those of typical VSC scheme show the validity of accurate tracking capability and robust Performance of the system.

클러터밀도 추정 방법 개선을 통한 LM-IPDAF의 표적 추적 성능 향상 연구 (Research on improvement of target tracking performance of LM-IPDAF through improvement of clutter density estimation method)

  • 레이다를 이용한 다수 표적의 상태 추정을 통해 추적 성능을 향상시키는 문제는 중요하다. 클러터 환경에서 추적 필터를 이용하여 다수 표적 추적 시 트랙과 측정치 간의 결합사건이 발생하며 개수가 증가함에 따라 결합사건은 기하급수적으로 증가한다. 이러한 환경에서 다수 표적 추적 필터 설계 시 고려해야할 문제는 첫째, 신속한 거짓트랙 제거 및 표적트랙 확정을 통하여 오경보율 최소화하고, 이를 통해 FTD(False Track Discrimination) 성능을 높인다. 둘째, 다수의 트랙이 측정치를 공유하는 결합사건 발생시 효율적으로 각각의 측정치를 트랙에 할당함으로써 트랙 유지성능을 향상시키는 것이다. 두 가지 고려사항을 통해 단일 표적 추적 자료결합 기법을 다수 표적 추적 필터로 확장하여 사용하며, 대표적인 알고리듬으로 JIPDAF(Joint Integrated Probabilistic Data Association Filter)와 LM-IPDAF(Linear Multi-target IPDAF)가 있다. 본 논문에서는 측정치 할당 시 생기는 수 많은 가설들에 대한 확률적 평가를 하지 않음으로써 측정치와 트랙의 개수에 따라 비선형으로 연산량이 증가하지 않으며, 클러터밀도 추정을 통해 트랙을 쇄신하는 트랙존재확률 기반의 LM-IPDAF 알고리듬을 소개한다. 그리고 LM-IPDAF의 트랙존재확률 산출 시 필요한 클러터밀도 추정 방법을 개선함으로써 연산량을 효과적으로 감소시킬 수 있는 방법을 제안하고 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 알고리듬과 비교, 분석하여 성능을 검증하였다. 그 결과, 위치 RMSE, Confirmed True Track 측면에서는 동일한 성능을 내면서 시뮬레이션 처리 시간을 약 20% 감소시킬 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 적응 퍼지 백스테핑 알고리즘을 이용하여 단일축 유연관절 로봇을 제어하는 새로운 알고리즘을 제안한다. 퍼지시스템은 일반근사기로 사용하여 로봇과 제어기의 비선형성과 불확실성을 상쇄하는 역할을 한다. 제안한 알고리즘은 추가적인 교시 제어기를 필요로 하지 않으며 추적오차를 상시유계시키는 특성이 있다. 끝으로 컴퓨터 모의실험을 통하여 제안한 방식의 성능을 확인한다.
