Topology optimization is widely accepted as a conceptual design tool for the product design. Since the resulted layout of the topology optimization is a kind of digital images represented by the density distribution, the seamless process is required to transform digital images to the CAD model for the practical use. In this paper, the general process to construct a CAD model is developed to apply for topology images based on elements. The node density and the morphology technique is adopted to extract boundary contour of the shape and remove the noise of images through erosion and dilation operation. The proposed method automatically generates point data sets of the geometric model. The process is integrated with Pro/Engineer, so that the engineer in practice can directly handle with curves or surface form digital images.
A review of stormwater quantity and quality in the urban environment is presented. The review is presented in three parts. The first part reviews the mathematical methods for stormwater quantity and has been undertaken by examining a number of stormwater models that are in current use. The important feature of models, their applications, and management has been discussed. Different types of stormwater management models are presented in the literatures. Generally, all the models are simplified as conceptual or empirical depending on whether the model is based on physical laws or not. In both cases if any of the variables in the model are regarded as random variables having a probability distribution, then the model is stochastic model. Otherwise the model is deterministic (based on process descriptions). The analytical techniques are presented in this paper.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was propose and test a predictive model that could explain and predict factors influencing the sexual satisfaction of women with diabetes mellitus. Method: The conceptual frame for this study was formed as a hypothesized model based on Roy's adaptation model. Participants for this study were 240 out-patient women from P university hospital in Y city. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 19.0 program. Results: The paths that had direct effects on sexual satisfaction, and were statistically significant were showing intimacy with spouse, and sexual function. The explanatory power of these variables for sexual satisfaction was 64%. Conclusion: The results of the study suggest that it is necessary for enhancement of sexual satisfaction for women with diabetes to increase intimacy with husband, and that sexual function, frequency of exercise, adequate glycemic control be maintained, and depression decreased.
The purpose of this study was to develop a MOOC design model that would improve the current practice of MOOC development in Korea by specifying easy-to-use course development procedures and guiding strategies. Following Richey and Klein (2007)'s conceptual model development procedure, the first step was to perform critical review of relevant literature and observe typical MOOC development processes. As a result, the initial model was developed. The second step was to conduct the expert review with five educational technology and MOOC researchers to secure the internal validity of the model. Based on the experts' suggestions, the model was revised and once again reviewed by the same experts. This process resulted in the development of the 2nd version of model. The third step was to carry out external validation research in order to test the effectiveness, efficiency, and usability of the model. A basic model may be confirmed or corrected based on examination of its results. Consequently, the model was elaborated as the final model. In the final model, 6 procedural phases and 9 specific steps were included. The six procedural phases are: Analysis (1st Iteration), Design, Development (Course Development), Implementation, Evaluation, and Analysis (2nd Iteration), a slight variation of ADDIE model. The specific steps include: 1) Goal Setting, 2) Environment Analysis, 3) Content Design, 4) Style Design, 5) Course Development, 6) Implementation Plan, 7) Course Implementation, 8) Summative Evaluation, and 9) Need Reflection. The study concluded with suggestions for further research and application of the MOOC design model.

The purpose of this study is to develop a model of adolescent's conspicuous consumption on clothes. For this study, questionnaires were administered to 400 adolescents in Kwang-Ju. Employing a sample of 283, data were analyzed by using the structural equation model of the Lisrel analysis, in addition to cronbach's alpha coefficient for reliability and confirmatory factor analysis for validity. The results of this study was found that a conceptual model for adolescent's conspicuous consumption on clothes was judged to provide acceptable goodness of fit. Specifically, materialism and clothing conformity had a direct effect on conspicuous consumption on clothes, and materialism, hedonic shopping orientation and clothing interests had a indirect effect on conspicuous consumption on clothes. The results indicated that clothing conformity had important influence on conspicuous consumption and its influence on adolescent's conspicuous consumption was mediated by materialism, hedonic shipping orientation and clothing interests.
In this paper, we set up an implementation plan for the Mail Acceptance System (MAS) to be operated more effectively and intelligently. First of all, an as-is analysis for the current MAS is performed for analyzing issues and problems and obtaining user requirements. After the as-is analysis, we perform benchmarking studies on the various postal service providers of the advanced countries. Based on the results from the as-is analysis and benchmarking study, we design a conceptual model for the future MAS. The proposed conceptual model can be classified into three parts: automatic MAS, business MAS, and integrated MAS. Information and automation technologies are applied to design the proposed model for eliminating inefficiencies and inaccuracies in MAS. We identify implementation tasks for realizing the proposed MAS model, evaluate the importance and precedence relationship of the identified tasks for deciding implementation priorities, and finally set up the implementation plan for the future MAS. We can expect that the more efficient and effective MAS can be constructed in the future by performing the proposed implementation plan.

The analysis concerns collapse behavior of framed vehicle models with the change of design parameters at the initial stage of conceptual design. Collapse analysis of a vehicle model with framed structures has been carried out using finite element limit analysis. The analysis makes sequential changes of design parameters from an initial model with frames of uniform section so as to stage then weak parts. As a result of those design changes, the collapse load of a model has been increased and the deflection toward a passenger room has been reduced. The results demonstrate the versatility of finite element limit analysis as a tool that confirms the safety of vehicle models.

In this study, based on the analysis of FRBRoo, we tried to propose suggestions to expand and improve the FRBR family conceptual model. FRBRoo is a plug-in ontology of CIDOC CRM with cooperation of museum field. As FRBR family models also revised and integrated into IFLA Library Reference Model, the additional analysis on IFLA LRM was performed. If bibliographic information is required to support the technical and user services of the library, the way to analyze the bibliographic information should be improved in order to cope with the new challenges faced by the library. To do this, time-related event concepts should be reflected in the modeling of bibliographic information. It is also necessary to expand the creation and exchange unit of bibliographic information to smaller units or larger units than legacy bibliographic records. Using FRBRoo as a linkage tool for the sharing of bibliographic information is also suggested.

Since the cases of time extension have continuously transpired in the public construction project, the potential of economical loss and claims is increasing because the concerned parties such as an owner or a contractor have not properly performed their own responsibility for time extension. One of the main reasons is that the present planning and scheduling do not support the method to apportion the proper responsibility to the right party. This problem has repeatedly led to time extension and made it difficult for the concerned parties to perform the responsibility for time extension. In order to overcome this problem, a framework of delay administration is required as the method to apportion the proper responsibility to the right party. To solve this problem, this paper aimed to develop the conceptual model and prototype system as the practical method to administrate delay causation. Furthermore, the verification result for the reliability and applicability throughout the case studies on real construction projects shows that the conceptual model and prototype system developed would help efficiently to administrate the delay causation.
This paper presents the design and implementaion of an object-relational geographic information system. This system has been developed on top of a commercial object-relational database management system. It provides flexible spatial data model, spatial query language, visual user interface, and efficient spatial access methods(D0T) in which traditional primary-key access methods can be applied. We report on our design choices and describe the current status of Implementation. The conceptual model of the system is based on SDTS, and is mapped to the intemal obiect-oriented data model. Kevwords : object-oriented data model, GIS, spatial data model, spatial access method.
