식육 및 계란에서 플루오로퀴놀론계 항균물질 정량분석 및 잔류조사 (II) (Determination and survey of fluoroquinolones in meats and eggs (II))

  • Fluoroquinolones in muscle and egg were separated by liquid extraction and determined. The analysis was carried out using following conditions; C18 column ($150{\times}4.6mm$, $5{\mu}m$), mobile phase composed of D.W. (containing 0.4% triethylamine and phosphoric acid) : methanol : acetonitrile (780:100:120, v/v/v), quarternary pump at a flow rate of 0.9ml/min and $20{\mu}l$ of injection volume, fluorescence detector with EX 278nm/Em 456nm. The calibration range of seven fluoroquinolones showed linearity ($r^2{\geq}0.999$) at concentration range of $0.025{\sim}0.8{\mu}g/ml$. The recoveries in fortified muscle and egg represented more than 81.3%. The detection limits for ofloxacin, norfloxacin, ciprofloxacin, enrofloxacin, danofloxacin, saraloxacin and orbifloxacin were 3.1, 2.5, 3.6, 1.7, 0.9, 2.5 and $2.1{\mu}g/kg$, respectively. We also monitored fluoroquinolones residue in the sample (chicken muscle 182, cattle muscle 140, pig muscle 139, egg 212) using EEC-plate (E. coli ATCC 11303) screening and HPLC confirmation methods. The screening test results, fluoroquinolones, antibacterial substances were all negative.

  • VMS(Variable Message Sign)는 도로의 이용자에게 하류부의 교통정보를 제공하여 운전자의 경로선택을 위한 의사결정정보와 목적지까지 이동하기위하여 소요되는 통행시간정보를 제공한다. 하지만, VMS에 표출할 수 있는 정보의 개수는 표출면수에 의한 제약이 있기 때문에 신중하게 결정되어야 한다. 지금까지 기 구축된 이벤트의 메시지 표출우선순위는 발생된 이벤트의 심각도만을 고려하여 우선순위 규칙을 적용하고 있다. 하지만 VMS를 더욱 효율적으로 운영하기 위해서는 통행수요가 많은 경로에 교통정보를 우선적으로 제공할 때 그 정보의 수혜자가 가장 많을 것이다. 그러므로 실시간으로 기종점을 파악하여 더욱 많은 운전자가 경로선택이 가능한 정보를 제공받을 수 있도록 정보제공 전략을 수립할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 주도로와 진출입 램프의 검지기 데이터를 이용하여 시간분할 기종점 추정방법론으로 통행수요를 추정하였으며, 추정된 기종점자료를 바탕으로 정보제공 우선순위를 결정할 수 있는 정보제공 전략을 소개하였다.

전산화단층촬영조영술에서 화질 최적화를 위한 딥러닝 기반 및 하이브리드 반복 재구성의 특성분석 (Characterization of Deep Learning-Based and Hybrid Iterative Reconstruction for Image Quality Optimization at Computer Tomography Angiography)

  • 전산화단층촬영조영술(computer tomography angiography, CTA)의 최적 화질을 위한 서로 다른 요오드 농도와 스캔 매개변수를 적용하여 필터 보정 역투영 (filtered back projection, FBP), 혼합형 반복재구성 (hybrid-iterative reconstruction, hybrid-IR) 및 딥러닝 재구성 (deep learning reconstruction, DLR)의 화질적 특성을 정량적으로 평가하였다. 320행 검출기 CT 스캐너에서 지름 19 cm의 원통형 물 팬텀 가장자리에 있는 다양한 요오드 농도 (1.2, 2.9, 4.9, 6.9, 10.4, 14.3, 18.4 및 25.9 mg/mL)의 팬텀을 스캔하였다. 각각의 재구성 기술을 사용하여 획득한 데이터는 노이즈 (noise), 변동 계수 (coefficient of variation, COV) 및 평균 제곱근 오차 (root mean square error, RMSE)을 통해 영상을 분석하였다. 요오드의 농도가 증가할수록 CT number 값은 증가하였지만 노이즈 변화는 특별한 특성을 보이지 않았다. 다양한 관전류 및 관전압에서 FBP, adaptive iterative dose reduction (AIDR) 3D 및 advanced intelligent clear-IQ engine (AiCE)에 대해 요오드 농도를 증가할수록 COV는 감소하였고 요오드 농도가 낮을 때는 재구성 기술 간의 COV 차이가 다소 발생하였지만, 요오드 농도가 높아짐에 따라 그 차이는 미약한 결과를 보였다. 또한, AiCE에서는 요오드 농도가 높아질수록 RMSE는 감소하지만 특정한 농도 (4.9 mg/mL) 이후에는 RMSE가 오히려 증가 되는 특성을 보여주었다. 따라서 최적의 CTA 영상 획득을 위해 재구성 기술에 따른 요오드 농도의 변화 및 다양한 관전류 및 관전압의 스캔 매개변수의 특성을 고려하여 환자 스캔을 해야 할 것이다.

The electronic structure of the ion-beam-mixed Pt-Cu alloys by XPS and XANES

  • In the thin film alloy formation of the transition metals ion-beam-mixing technique forms a metastable structure which cannot be found in the arc-melted metal alloys. Sppecifically it is well known that the studies about the electronic structure of ion-beam-mixed alloys pprovide the useful information in understanding the metastable structures in the metal alloy. We studied the electronic change in the ion-beam-mixed ppt-Ct alloys by XppS and XANES. These analysis tools pprovide us information about the charge transfer in the valence band of intermetallic bonding. The multi-layered films were depposited on the SiO2 substrate by the sequential electron beam evapporation at a ppressure of less than 5$\times$10-7 Torr. These compprise of 4 ppairs of ppt and Cu layers where thicknesses of each layer were varied in order to change the alloy compposition. Ion-beam-mixing pprocess was carried out with 80 keV Ae+ ions with a dose of $1.5\times$ 1016 Ar+/cm2 at room tempperature. The core and valence level energy shift in these system were investigated by x-ray pphotoelectron sppectroscoppy(XppS) pphotoelectrons were excited by monochromatized Al K a(1486.6 eV) The ppass energy of the hemisppherical analyzer was 23.5 eV. Core-level binding energies were calibrated with the Fermi level edge. ppt L3-edge and Cu K-edge XANES sppectra were measured with the flourescence mode detector at the 3C1 beam line of the ppLS (ppohang light source). By using the change of White line(WL) area of the each metal sites and the core level shift we can obtain the information about the electrons pparticippating in the intermetallic bonding of the ion-beam-mixed alloys.

고(高)에너지 전자선(電子線) 치료(治療)를 위(爲)한 선량분포(線量分布) 및 기술적(技術的) 문제(問題)의 연구(硏究) (Studies on Dose Distribution and Treatment Technique of High Energy Electron)

  • High energy electron beams took effect for tumor radio-therapy, however, had a lot of problems in clinical application because of various conversion factors and complication of physical reactions. Therefor, we had experimentally studied the important properties of high energy electron beams from the linear accelerator, LMR-13, installed in Yonsei Cancer Center. The results of experimental studies on the problems in the 8, 10, 12 Mev electron beam therapy were reported as following. 1. On the measurements of the outputs and absorbed doses, the ionization type dosimeters that had calibrated by $^{90}Sr$ standard source were suitable as under 3% errors for high energy electrons to measure, but measuring doses in small field sizes and the regions of rapid fall off dose with ionization chambers were difficult. 2. The electron energy were measured precisely with energy spectrometer consisted of magnet analyzer and tele-control detector and the practical electron energy was calculated under 5% errors by maximum range of high energy electron beam in the water. 3. The correcting factors of perturbated dose distributions owing to radiation field, energy and material of the treatment cone were checked and described systematically and variation of dose distributions due to inhomogeneous tissues and sloping skin surfaces were completely compensated. 4. The electron beams, using the scatterers; ie., gold, tin, copper, lead, aluminium foils, were adequately diffused and minimizing the bremsstrahlung X-ray induced by the electron energy, irradiation field size and material of scatterers, respectively. 5. Inproving of the dose distribution from the methods of pendulum, slit, grid and focusing irradiations, the therapeutic capacity with limited electron energy could be extended.

HPLC-UVD를 이용한 농산물 중 스피노사드 분석법 개선 및 잔류실태 조사 (Development of Analytical Methods of Spinosad in Agricultural Commodities by HPLC with UV Detector and Monitoring)

  • 본 연구는 단성분 농약 중 스피노사드의 잔류실태를 조사하기 위하여 식품공전의 스피노사드 분석법을 농산물에 적용되도록 개선하고 개선 된 시험법으로 잔류실태조사가 부족한 스피노사드에 대한 잔류실태를 조사하였다. 국내 유통 중인 16종의 농산물 304건에 대한 스피노사드 잔류량을 조사한 결과 모든 검체에서 검량한계 이상 검출 되지 않았다. 스피노사드 시험법의 회수율은 현미, 강낭콩, 오렌지, 들깻잎, 표고버섯에서 스피노사드 A의 경우 0.05 mg/kg 수준에 각각 76.2, 95.3, 83.5, 79.9, 98.6%이고, 0.25 mg/kg 수준에 각각 97.3, 86.6, 84.4, 94.0, 88.1%이고, 스피노사드 D 의 경우 0.05 mg/kg 수준에 각각 76.6, 104.0, 88.9, 74.9, 81.1%이고, 0.25 mg/kg 수준에 각각 92.7, 97.7, 86.9, 90.4, 85.4%였으며 검출한계 0.001 mg/kg, 검량한계 0.005 mg/kg이다. 회수율에 대한 모든 표준편차는 10% 미만이다. 스피노사드 A와 D는 0.1-5.0 mg/kg 범위에서 상관계수($r^2$) 0.9999 이상의 높은 직선성을 보이고, 검출한계는 0.001 mg/kg, 검량한계는 0.005 mg/kg이었다.

Radionuclide concentrations in agricultural soil and lifetime cancer risk due to gamma radioactivity in district Swabi, KPK, Pakistan

  • This study focuses on measuring the levels of naturally occurring radioactivity in the soil of Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, as well as the associated health hazard. Thirty (30) soil samples were collected from various locations and analyzed for 226Ra, 232Th, and 40K radioactivity levels using a High Purity Germanium detector (HPGe) gamma-ray spectrometer with a photo-peak efficiency of approximately 52.3%. The average values obtained for these radionuclides are 35.6 ± 5.7 Bqkg-1, 47 ± 12.5 Bqkg-1, and 877 ± 153 Bqkg-1, respectively. The level of 232Th is slightly higher and 40K is 2.2 times higher than the internationally recommended limit of 30 Bqkg-1 and 400 Bqkg-1, respectively. Various parameters were calculated based on the results obtained, including Radium Equivalent (Raeq), External Hazard (Hex), Absorbed Dose Rate (D), Annual Gonadal Equivalent Dose (AGDE), Annual Effective Dose Rate, and Excess Lifetime Cancer Risk (ELCR), which are 170.3 ± 24 Bqkg-1, 0.46 ± 0.06 Bqkg-1, 81.4 ± 2.04 nGy h-1, 582 ± 78.08 µSvy-1, 99.8 ± 13.5 µSv Gy-1, and 0.349 ± 0.04, respectively. These values are below the limits recommended by the United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR) in 2002. This study highlights the potential radiation threats associated with natural radioactivity levels in the soil of Swabi and provides valuable information for public health and safety.

유한요소법을 이용한 X-선관 양극각도에 의존하는 전자빔 초점 특성 연구 (Property of Focal Spot of Electron Beam Depending on the Anode Angle of X-ray Tube Using a Finite Element Method)

  • 텅스텐 타겟인 양극의 각도에 의존하는 X-선관 집속관의 전자빔 초점 크기를 오페라-3차원/스칼라(OPERA-3D/SCALAR) 프로그램을 이용하여 구하였다. 시뮬레이션 분석은 X-선관을 음극과 양극 그리고 4영역을 나누어 유한요소법을 적용하였다. X-선 집속관의 필라멘트로부터 방출되는 열전자 궤적은 전자밀도 분포함수에 따라 양극에 도달할 때 실초점으로 집속되고 양극에 부딪쳐서 유효 초점 크기로 X-선을 발생하게 된다. 전자빔 실초점 크기는 X-선 집속관 모양을 결정짓는 폭, 길이, 높이를 조절하여 줄일 수 있었고, 양극각도의 크기에 따라 미세하게 변하였다. 양극각도가 $10^{\circ}{\sim}17^{\circ}$에서는 전자빔 실초점 크기를 $70{\mu}m$ 이내로 유지하였고, 가장 최소 초점크기는 $15^{\circ}$에서 실초점 크기가 $40{\mu}m$로 나타났다. 최적화된 X-선 집속관의 변수들로 시뮬레이션하는 열전자의 방출 궤적을 분석하여 얻은 마이크로 크기인 실초점을 활용하는 새로운 의료 영상진단기기 개발이 가능할 것으로 보여진다.

HPLC-DAD를 이용한 평위산 중의 Hesperidin 및 Glycyrrhizin의 동시분석법 확립 (Simultaneous Determination of Hesperidin and Glycyrrhizin in Pyungwi-san by HPLC/DAD)

  • A high performance liquid chromatographic (HPLC) method for the simultaneous determination of hesperidin and glycyrrhizin was established for the quality control of traditional herbal medicinal preparation, Pyungwi-san (PWS). Separation and quantification were successfully achieved with a Waters XTerra RP18 column ($5{\mu}m$, 4.6 mm I.D. ${\times}$ 150 mm) by gradient elution of a mixture of acetonitrile and water containing 0.03% phosphoric acid (pH 2.03) at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min. The diode-array UV/vis detector (DAD) was used for the detection and the wavelength for quantification was set at 230 nm. The presence of hesperidin and glycyrrhizin in this extract was ascertained by retention time, spiking with each authentic standard and UV spectrum. All four compounds showed good linearity $(r^2>0.995)$ in a relatively wide concentration ranges. The R.S.D. for intra-day and inter-day precision was less than 7.0% and the limits of detection (LOD) were less than 60 ng. The mean recovery of each compound was 99.0-105.6% with R.S.D. values less than 4.0%. This method was successfully applied to the determination of contents of hesperidin and glycyrrhizin in three commercial products of PWS. These results suggest that the developed HPLC method is simple, effective and could be readily utilized as a quality control method for commercial PWS products.

표면이 마모된 틸팅 패드 저널베어링의 열윤활 해석 및 온도 측정 (Thermohydrodynamic Analysis and Pad Temperature Measurement of Tilting Pad Journal Bearing with Worn Pad)

  • With the increase in adoption of tilting pad journal bearings (TPJBs), various failure mechanisms related to TPJBs have been reported, of which pad wear is a frequently reported one. Pad wear causes change in geometry of the bearing, which can sometimes result in the failure of the entire system. The objective of this research is to investigate the influence of pad wear on the pad temperature, which is one of the widely used condition monitoring methods for TPJBs. For the theoretical investigation, thermohydrodynamic (THD) analysis was conducted by solving the generalized Reynolds equation and the 3D energy equation. The results of the analysis show that the temperature of the loaded pad increases while that of the unloaded pad decreases, when there is wear on the loaded pads. In addition, the minimum film thickness decreases with an increase in the wear depth. A validation test was conducted with a test rig, which mimics the axial turbine when a test rotor is supported by two TPJBs. The test bearing consists of five pads with a diameter of 60 mm, and a resistance temperature detector (RTD) is installed in the pad for temperature monitoring. The test was performed by replacing the two loaded pads with the worn pad. The test result for the TPJB with wear depth of $30{\mu}m$ show that the temperatures of the loaded pads are $8^{\circ}C$ higher and that of the unloaded pad is $2.5^{\circ}C$ lower than that of the normal TPJB. In addition, the predicted pad temperature shows good agreement with the measured pad temperatures.
