액체질소중 교류방전 진전에 따른 방사전자파 주파수 특성 (The Frequency Characteristics of Radiated Electromagnetic Waves in accordance with AC Discharge Progress in Liquid Nitrogen)

  • In this study, a relationship between AC discharge progress and the radiated electromagnetic waves were investigated by measuring electromagnetic waves using a biconical antenna and a spectrum analyzer. The characteristics of frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves was measured at the atmospheric pressure in liquid nitrogen($LN_2$) during partial discharges progress in nonuniform electric field depend on AC power supply. From this results, it was confirmed that when partial discharge was produced in liquid nitrogen, the signal of partial discharge was detected by frequency spectrum of the radiated electromagnetic waves. It is considered that these results obtained from this investigation may be used as fundamental data for diagnosis and prediction of insulation on superconducting and cryogenic power equipments.

황토미장재 성능개선을 위한 실험적 연구 (A fundamental Study on the Performance Improvement of Hwangto plaster)

  • Recently the Volatile Organic Compound, HCHO, a harmful object spout from the construction materials is made an issue of social problem. Also the appearance of the building where the confidentiality is high was interior air pollution and it was brought about a huge problem. The government research facility and a relation industry sector conducts a many effort to improves like this actual condition. The Diverse ability building material which contains the natural material of the jade, the charcoal and the hwangto instead of the finish material which contains the harmful chemical material, is becoming development and utility. Hereupon the study have carried out research on hwangto plaster that was composed of hwangto and rice straw. The result of test that is deduced by basic proportion is properly appeared with suitable ratio of the hwangto and the sand to 4:6~5:5 by the compressive strength and crack control, workability. The result of test, that adds the rice straw to basic blending for a crack control, appeared with the fact that it is most suitable 3%to add the rice straw that has a length of 0.5cm~2cm. The result of test that plaster over the large size to compare a cement plaster with a hwangto plaster show a similar efficiency by workability. Also it controlled the crack and peeling off actual condition which is discovered from the hwangto plaster of existing perfectly.

황토콘크리트의 현장적용에 따른 시공 및 품질 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Construction and Quality in accordance with the Field Application of Hwangto Concrete)

  • In this thesis presents the application to the field of Hwangto-used concrete highlighted as an eco-friendly material and performs an experiment in the aspect of construction and quality on the construction for all parts of buildings, rather than for some parts of buildings as shown from existing application and got the conclusion as followings. 1) It was turned out that Hwangto concrete showed lower hydrated heat and arid contraction comparing to those of cement concrete. And this phenomenon is judged to appear high when applied to mass building and huge span structures. 2) The construction of Hwangto concrete is judged to be possible in applying to constructions since the mechanical construction seems to be possible by using pump car and ready-mixed concrete which are used at the practical sites at the moment. 3) The pockmarks appearing on the exposure surface were about 2% of total area. This has great cohesion by Hwangto concrete but is judged that it will be improved through enough vibration stamping. Through the experiments of quality and construction of Hwangto concrete as environment-friendly construction materials, it is possible to judge modernized application of Hwangto concrete. It is in need of more studies about economical efficiency, structural stability, design application, etc. afterwards.

Application of an Optical Current Transformer For Measuring High Current

  • This paper examines the temperature characteristics of an Optical CT (optical current transformer) using the Faraday effect for measuring high current in a super high voltage-power apparatus. It is performed as follows by the sensor for embodying Faraday effect. $\cdot$ A single-mode optical fiber capable of maintaining a polarization state is used. $\cdot$ A light source is applied at 1310[nm] to a Laser Diode. $\cdot$ The Linear of Faraday effect to a large current is evaluated and $\cdot$ A possible application using an Optical CT was shown. An Influence of Faraday effect to the surrounding temperature measured -40~50[$^{\circ}C$], and the characteristic of the current sensitivity was reported. An application using the results of the temperature compensation system was used in order to compensate for surrounding temperatures. A possibility of applying Optical CT for electric power apparatus was advanced further. We were able to confirm that this temperature calibration method can minimize the fluctuation of the output signal depending on the temperature conditions.

개선된 Dry Air와 SF6의 혼합비에 따른 절연파괴 특성 연구 (A Study on Characteristics of Insulation Breakdown by the Mixing Ratio of enhanced Dry Air and SF6)

  • It is very desirable that a mixture gas possessing excellent insulation performance is suggested for insulation on increasing high voltage. This paper proposes a $SF_6$ mixture gas based on the factors including dielectric strength, environmental impact and economic feasibility of manufacture for the insulation in eco-friendly power equipment. A suitable-$SF_6$ content was determined to improve the dielectric strength in $N_2$ and Dry Air. The examination results of the factors revealed that a $SF_6$/Dry Air mixture gas possessing the $SF_6$ content was more appropriate than a $SF_6/N_2$ mixture gas to the eco-friendly power equipment. In addition to the selection of the suitable $SF_6$ mixture gas, insulation characteristics as a function of $SF_6$ content were described from electron-detachment mechanism.

  • Faraday효과를 기본으로 하는 광CT(Optical Current Transformer)는 기존의 CT의 결점을 개선하여 경제적 효과의 증대, 신호제어 시스템의 신속성향상, Digital 계전시스템의 호환성에 크게 기여한다는 점 등 많은 면에서 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 광섬유센서 기술을 응용하고, Faraday 효과의 편광면 회전량을 수광부에서 김출하여 대전류 측정을 위한 광 CT의 동작특성에 대한 실험을 하고자 한다. 실험에 사용찬 광원은 633[nm] He-Ne Laser와 1310[nm] Laser Diode 두 가지로 동일한 시스템으로 구성하여 비교한다. 센싱부의 광섬유는 길이 10[m]의 633[nm] 1310[nm]용 single-mode bare fiber를 전류가 흐르는 케이블에 감아 센싱부를 구성하고, 전류변화에 따른 두 출력값을 측정, 비교하고자 한다.

  • Station Blackout(SBO) event means the complete loss of alternating current(AC) electrical power to the essential & nonessential switchgear buses in a nuclear power plants. Since many safety systems in nuclear power plants depend upon alternative current power, the SBO event could be an important contributor to damage of reactor core. Therefore, the SBO events have been considered as a very important safety issues in a nuclear power plants. In this paper, as evaluating the design characteristics of offsite & emergency power systems, an acceptable minimum SBO duration is calculated. And it is presented that the design method for alternative AC(AAC) sources to cope with the SBO events.

GIS용 광전류센서의 실시간 센서링 연구 (A study on the real time sensing of optical current sensor for GIS)

  • 본 연구는 도체주변에 감겨진 광섬유 코일에 따라 선형편광축이 자기장에 의해 회전하는 Faraday Effect를 이용한 GIS(Gas Insulated Switchgear,이하 GIS) 용 광 전류센서의 구성과 DAQ(Data Acquisition,이하 DAQ)보드를 장착한 PC를 이용하여 실시간 데이터 취득, 분석 그리고 저장을 동시에 수행하였다 광원은 1310[nm]의 레이저 다이오드를 이용하였다. 센서부는 GIS에 맞게 원형으로 제작하였고 $9/125[{\mu}m]$규격 단일모드의 일반 통신용 광섬유를 지름 31[cm]의 센서부 코어에 20[회] 감아 설치하였다. PC기반의 실시간 데이터 분석 프로그래밍은 NI사의 Labview를 이용하여 코딩하였으며 PD(Photo Diode,이하 PD)의 전기적인 신호는 터미널 블록을 거쳐 NI사의 16bit DAQ M시리즈를 이용하여 수집되어진다. 직접 코딩한 프로그램을 이용하여 $700A\sim1400A$ 측정한 출력값 선형적인 증가추세를 보여주었다. 또한 OCS(Oscilloscope,이하 OCS)를 이용한 측정시스템과의 출력신호 및 정밀도를 비교 검토하였다. 그리고 Labview에서 지원하는 Web Tool기능을 이용하여 Web기반의 원거리 측정에서도 안정된 출력을 보여주었다.

  • This study was conducted to discover a substitute of $SF_6$ gas. $SF_6$ gas is widely used across the industries. Thanks to superior electrical properties, in particular, it has been commonly used in electrical industry. However, there have been a lot of studies on its serious effect on global warming. As a substitute of this synthetic gas, a mixture of dry air and $N_2/O_2$ was chosen in this study. In case of $N_2/O_2$, dielectric strength differs depending on the mixing ratio. This study examined dielectric breakdown and flashover after adjusting oxygen percentage in the dry air. This test was conducted in a quasi-uniform electric field depending on pressure, oxygen concentration and gas mixtures. The test results found that dielectric voltage and flashover voltage were the highest at a certain oxygen concentration. It is the results of this photoionization and electron attachment of oxygen.

외부변형이 섬유보강콘크리트의 인성에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Extraneous Deformation on the Toughness of Fiber Reinforced Concrete)

  • This study discusses the issues related to the accuracy of deflection measurement in the testing of FRC. Some deflection methods may include large extraneous deformations. such as local crushing at the loading points, elastic and inelastic deformations of the loading fixture, etc. A faulty load-deflection curve will be obtained if an unstable deflection measuring system is used, and incorrect toughness evaluation can be reached on the basis of this faulty curve. In this paper, the discussion will focus on the effects of the deflection measuring system on both the measurement of the load-deflection response of FRC and the evaluation of FRC toughness. It is observed that ASTM toughness indices which is based on measuring deflection at first cracking is influenced significantly by extraneous deformation in deflection measurement. But extraneous deformation in deflection measurement result in negligible errors in toughness evaluation using JSCE and JCI definition. However, in order to evaluate toughness accuracy, it is desirable to use net load-deflection curve eliminated extraneous deformation.
