The maneuverabilities of the training ship M.S. HEUIMANGBONG were studied, based on the data obtained from her Z test. The results obtained were summerized as follows: 1. The maneuvering indices K' and T'of the M.S. HEUIMANGBONG were 0.542, 1.305 at 10$^{\circ}$Z Test and 0.433, 1.351 at 20$^{\circ}$Z test and 0.442, 1.388 at 30$^{\circ}$Z test respectively. The above calculated values K', T' showed that her maneuverabilities were more effective when her rudder was used to small angle than to large angle. 2. As the overshoot angles of the starbord side of the M.S. HEUIMANGBONG were larger than those of port side at 10$^{\circ}$, 20$^{\circ}$and 30$^{\circ}$Z test, her maneuverabilities in port turning were found to be higher than in starbord turning. 3. The running distance of a turn at her 10$^{\circ}$Z test was about 9.9 times her own length and she was considered to have a good maneuverabilities synthetically

Purpose: Public sector is usually not an attractive career choice for the youths, due to the uncompetitive income and the working environment. Therefore, understanding the motivations of the Generation Z, the currently early-career employees, to work in the public sector is important. This research aims to address a gap in the literature on the linkage between Personality Traits of Generation Z and Public Service Motivation (PSM). Research Design, Data, and Methodology: Using the sample of Vietnamese generation Z, it shows how individual personality, as defined by the Big Five, affects PSM. A quantitative survey of 355 university students, who are members of this generation and are preparing to join the labor market, was undertaken. We used SEM to examine the results. Results: Our findings show that Agreeableness, Neuroticism, and Conscientiousness are significant antecedents of PSM. Agreeableness, which leads to three PSM dimensions, namely Compassion, Self-Sacrifice, and Commitment to Public Values, is the best predictor of this motivation. Meanwhile, Neuroticism and Conscientiousness only affect the dimension of Compassion. Conclusion: This study adds to the limited current knowledge on the personality-PSM relationship among generation Z. The distribution of affective (Compassion, Self-Sacrifice) and norm-based (Commitment to Public Values) motives provide insight for both career counselors and recruiters in public service delivery.

In order to find out hypoglycemic constituents from natural resources, Korean medicinal plants being used for the treatments of diabetes mellitus were tested with streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats. From the above screening, the $CH_2Cl_2$ fraction of 80% methanol extracts of Morus alba leaves showed hypoglycemic activity. The $CH_2Cl_2$fraction was chromatographed on silica gel, resulting in 9 subfractions, and tested hypoglycemic activity. The subfraction which had a strong hypoglycemic activity was rechromatographed and two galactolipids (compounds 1 and 2) were isolated along with a triterpene (compound 3) from other fractions. On the basis of spectroscopic data, acid hydrolysis, alkaline hydrolysis and enzyme hydrolysis results, compounds 1, 2 and 3 were identified as $1-O-(9Z,12Z,15Z-octatrienoyl)-2-O-(9Z,12Z,15Z-octatrienoyl)-3-O-{\beta}-D-galactopyranosyl$ glycerol, $2(R)-1-O-octadecanoyl-2-O-(9Z,12Z,15Z-octatrienoyl)-3-O-{\beta}-D-galactopyranosyl$ glycerol, and $3{\beta}-hydroxylup-20(29)-ene$ acetate, respectively. Compound 2 (1mg/kg p.o.) has approximately 16% hypoglycemic activity in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats.

The need for insect and mite resistant turfgrass cultivars arose because of problems associated with pesticide use. Representative cultivars and genotypes of 18 warm-season turfgrass [Zoysia japonica Steud., Z. japonica${\times}$Z. metrella hybrids, Z. japonica${\times}$Z. tenuifotia hybrids, Z. matrella (L.) Merr., Cynodon dactylon (L.) Pers., C. dactylon${\times}$C. transvallensis hybrids, Paspalum notatum Flugge., P. vaginatum Swartz., Stenotaphrum secundatum (Walt.) Kuntze, Eremochloa ophiuroides (Munro.) and Buchloe dactyloides (Nutt.) Engelm.] and 20 cool-season turfgrasses [Poa pratensis L., Festuca arundinacea Schreb., F. rubra L., F. rubra var. commutata Gaud., F. ovina var. duriuscula L. Koch. Agrostis tenuis Sibth., A. palustris Huds., and Latium perenne L.] were evaluated for host resistance to feeding by the Spodoptera depravata (Butler) in the laboratory. Two experiments were set up in the laboratory using 8.5cm diameter${\times}$4.0cm deep plastic petri dishes as larvae feeding chambers. In experiment 1, one neonate larvae were place on the grass in each dish and the dishes were arranged with 5 replicates each within an environmental chamber maintained at $25^{\circ}C$ and 15h light: 9h dark Larval survival and larval weights at 7d and 14d, pupal weights, and days to pupation were compared among turfgrasses. In Experiment 2, 4cm sections of all grasses were oriented equidistant from each other in a pattern resembling the spokes of a wheel. Five one neonate larvae were introduced to the center of each dish. Dishes were immediately placed in an environmental chamber held at $25^{\circ}C$, 15h light: 9h dark Larvae were allowed to feed for 24h. Damage was rated from 0(no damage) to 9(completely consumed) were made for eachturfgrass. Resistance as antibiosis (high mortality, slowed growth, and least preference) was identified in Z. japonica${\times}$Z. tenuifolia hybirids ‘Emerald’, Z. japonica${\times}$Z. metrella hybirds ‘Miyako’ and Eremochloa ophiuroides (Munro.). Cool-season turfgrasses tested were susceptible to feeding by Spodoptera depravata (Butler).

We establish the Hyers-Ulam-Rassias stability of the Pexiderized mixed type quadratic equation $f_1(x+y+z)+f_2(x-y)+f_3(x-z)-f_4(x-y-z)-f_5(x+y)-f_6(x+z)=0$ in the spirit of D. H. Hyers, S. M. Ulam and Th. M. Rassias.

실험선 제주 402호의 조종성능을 전속전진중 최대타각으로 전타한 때의 선회권측정과 $10^{\circ}$, 20$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$Z시험에서 산출된 조종성지수를 분석, 검토한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 선회종거는 우현선회시가 79.1m로 배의 길이의 약 2.6배였으며, 좌현선회시는 81.4m로서 배의 길이의 약 2.7배였다. 또, 선회경은 배의 길이의 약 2.6배로서 우현선회시가 78.3m로서 좌현선회시 80.4m보다 작았다. 2. 선회권시험시 속력저감율은 0.49였으며, 평균선회각속도는 우현선회시가 4.3$^{\circ}$/sec, 좌현선회시는 4$^{\circ}$/sec이었다. 3. Z시험 결과 over shot angle은 우현전타시가 좌현전타시보다 더 컸으며, 좌우타전타시의 평균값은 $10^{\circ}$Z시험시가 10.5$^{\circ}$, 20$^{\circ}$Z시험시가 20.5$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$Z시험시가 29.5$^{\circ}$로 다소 큰 편이었다. 4. $10^{\circ}$, 20$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$Z시험에서 K' 및 T'의 값은 각각 0.755, 0.566, 0.481 및 3.468, 1.621, 1.547로서 대체적으로 선회성은 대각도 전타 일수록 나쁘거나, 추종성은 대각도 전타 일 수 록 좋았다.

Suppose that ${\mu}$ is a finite positive Borel measure on the unit ball $B{\subset}C^n$. The boundary of B is the unit sphere $S=\{z:{\mid}z{\mid}=1\}$. Let ${\sigma}$ be the rotation-invariant measure on S such that ${\sigma}(S)=1$. In this paper, we will show that if $sup_{{\zeta}{\in}S}\;{\int}_{B}\;P(z,{\zeta})d{\mu}(z)$<${\infty}$ where $P(z,{\zeta})$ is the Poission-Szeg$\ddot{o}$ kernel for B, then ${\mu}$ is a Carleson measure. We will also show that if $sup_{{\zeta}{\in}S}\;{\int}_{B}\;P(z,{\zeta})d{\mu}(z)$<${\infty}$, then the operator T such that T(f) = P[f] is compact as a mapping from $L^p(\sigma)$ into $L^p(B,d{\mu})$.

Zn, Ni 및 Co ion의 陰極反應速度를 Polarograph로써 몇 가지 支持電解液과 溫度에서 Randles法으로 測定하였다. Zn의 速度値는 Randles들의 測定値와 20% 誤差內에서 一致하였다. Ni 와 Co ion에 對한 값은 文獻에 나타나 있지 않으나 前報의 다른 方法에 依한 値와 比較하면 適當한 값이라고 볼 수 있다. Randles法에 依한 速度値를 써서 Kambara들이 提案한 Parameter x,y(z)를 求하고 이들 사이의 關係을 考察하였으며 log y vs. log z 사이에 一種의 曲線關係가 있음을 發見하였다.

합성 성페로몬의 담배나방(Helicoverpa assulta (G.))에 대한 생물학적 활성을 알아보기 위하여 촉각전도 측정, 반응 행동 관찰 및 야외 유인실험을 하였다. 담배나방 성페로몬의 주성분인 Z9-16:Aid와 Z11-16:Aid 는 모두 수컷에서 큰 촉각전도반응을 보였으며 이들의 혼합 비율은 촉각전도반응 크기에 영향을 주지 않았다. 담배나방 암컷은 두 페로몬 주성분에 대해서는 촉각전도반응을 나타내지 않았으며, 기주식물인 고추기름에만 큰 촉각전도반응을 보였다. 처리량이 0.01~10$\mug$ 일때는 페로몬의 양이 증가함에 따라서 촉각전도 반응도 증가했으나 100$\mug$을 처리했을 때에는 오히려 반응의 크기가 줄어들거나 10$\mug$처리시와 같았다. 풍동에서 담배나방 수컷은 일련의 규칙적인 반응행동들을 나타냈다. 이 반응 행동들은 성페로몬의 두 주성분 비율에 따라 달랐으며, 미량 성분인 16:1 Aid와 Z9-16:Ac 를 첨가했을 때에는 교미행동까지 나타냈다. 야외에서 트랩을 이용하여 유인력을 검정한 결과 Z9-16:Aid와 Z11-16:Aid의 비율이 20~25:1 일 때 유인력이 가장 컸으며 여기에 Z9-16:OH가 첨가되었을때에는 다른 성분의 비율에 관계없이 유인력이 아주 낮았다. 함성 성페로몬의 유인력은 미교미암컷의 유인력보다 강한 것으로 판명되었다.
