Transit event of exoplanet is a good example of observational studies with youth, because the event is geometrically simple and its analysis is essential to astronomical observation. Therefore, we developed the package of data reduction and aperture photometry in Python for educational purpose. In 27 July, we observed the transit event of TrES-3b with the students of "NYSC Space Science Club" program, and presented the Python package, PyPhotW for data reduction and aperture photometry. PyPhotW consists of simple functions for youth to understand the processes easier. Nonetheless, the photometric results of PyPhotW show a good agreement with those of Source Extractor, ${\Delta}m{\sim}-0.01{\pm}0.03$ and $-0.04{\pm}0.08$ for TrES-3b and TrES-5b time-series observations in 27 - 28 July.

This study analyzed the programs offered in the youth center located in Gyeongsangnam-do Province in accordance with the domains for creative activity. The creative activity, introduced through the 2009 revised national curriculum, puts an emphasis on the experiential activities to enhance the creativity of students. The creativity activity needs to be operated as intended in order to ensure that the students can grow into adults, who have creativity and good personality, by amassing a variety of experiences. For that, various human resources and physical resources of communities need to be utilized efficiently. Thus, this study explored the measures to achieve the original objectives of creativity activity by analyzing the programs - offered by the youth centers in Gyeongsangnam-do Province - based on the scope of creativity activity. The followings are the results of the analysis of 177 programs offered in 12 organizations that came under the three categories (training facilities operated directly by the Education Office, public training centers, culture center) of the youth centers located in Gyeongsangnam-do Province. Autonomous activity' comprised the highest proportion in the youth center programs of the three categories, followed by club activity. The programs associated with the 'career activity' - which most students have the highest expectations in relation to the creativity activity - comprised relatively low proportion. In conclusion, the programs offered by the youth centers in communities need to become more diversified in order to achieve the intended results of creative activity. In addition, the programs associated with the 'career activity', which student prefer the most, need to be operated in a more diversified manner with greater emphasis. Furthermore, the measures should be explored which may increase the involvement of youth education experts of community in the operations of creativity activity.

Purpose: The purpose is to expand the role of local senior welfare centers as a place for intergenerational integration by analyzing the intergenerational awareness and satisfaction of participants in the intergenerational integration program. Research design, data and methodology: The empirical study conducted a survey on 205 participants (114 seniors, 91 teenagers) of the generation integration program being implemented at a senior welfare center located in Seoul. Results: Regarding the satisfaction of participants in the generation integration program, both the elderly and youth showed that the more contact they had between generations, the higher the satisfaction with participation. In the case of the elderly, the better the subjective health status, the older the respondent, and the lower the educational level, the higher the satisfaction, and the more frequently they met youth, the higher the satisfaction. On the other hand, the longer the youth participated in the program, the weaker their negative emotions toward the elderly, and the higher the degree of visits to grandparents, the higher their satisfaction with participation. Conclusions: The biggest determinant of satisfaction with the generational integration program at senior welfare centers is the intensity and frequency of contact between the elderly and youth generations.

SNe light curves have been used to understand the expansion history of the universe, and a lot of efforts have gone into understanding the overall shape of the radioactively powered light curve. However, we still have little direct observational evidence for the theorized SN progenitor systems. Recent studies suggest that the light curve of a supernova shortly after its explosion (< 1 day) contains valuable information about its progenitor system and can be used to set a limit on the progenitor size, R*. In order to catch the early light curve of SNe explosion and understand SNe progenitors, we are performing a ~8hr interval monitoring survey of nearby galaxies (d < 50 Mpc) with 1-m class telescopes around the world. Through this survey, we expect to catch the very early precursor emission as faint as R=21 mag (~0.1 Rsun for the progenitor). In this poster, we outline this project, and present a few scientific highlights, such as the early light curve of SN 2015F in NGC 2442.

The study is to analyze the role of highschool youth group in a rural regeneration project. The process of youth group becoming subjective in resident participation plan was classified into isolation reduction, self-awareness, perspective-taking, subjectivity practice, and opinion expression. Isolation reduction is a stage in which youth group is gradually drawn into the community from a limited society of home and school, self-awareness is a stage in which they discover their thoughts, and view perspective-taking is a stage in which they objectify themselves and surroundings through communication with other members of the region, social experiment was analyzed as a practice of subjectivity that experiences leadership guiding the local community independently, and expressing opinions is a stage of representing the region and giving responsibility for the specific issue of the implementation plan. The study is also an analysis of how residents committee, local governments, and local research institutes perform both regeneration and community revitalization in rural areas. Therefore, the analysis of the cooperative organization of these institutions was conducted simultaneously. The leadership program was effectively linked to the project of rural regeneration. Since high school students themselves are family members of the local people, the process of accepting the project is unaffected, and the feasibility of the project is also increased, such as forming a positive atmosphere for the project and easing resistance to minority opinions.

We report the optical follow-up observations of three long γ-ray burst events, GRB 201020A, GRB 201103B and GRB 210104A by the network of telescopes in the SomangNet project. We show light curves, color evolution and SED evolution, and fit them to a single power law function to derive decay index and compare their properties with other long GRBs samples. Also, we show a good observational example that 0.4-1m class telescopes in SomangNet have potential to catch dim light from high red shift object (R>22 mag) by deep imaging. In conclusion, we found that three GRBs have optical afterglow properties of long GRB and our results are consistent with the reports of high energy analysis.

Purpose: The aim of this qualitative study was to identify the experiences of smoking and smoking cessation in out-of-school youth. Methods: The participants were 12 out-of-school youths belonging the Youth support Center located in A and B area. The data were collected from January 8 to 15, 2018, using a FGI(Focus Group Interview). The main sub-domains of the experiences of smoking and smoking cessation in out-of-school youth by 7 questions were categorized from the intrapersonal, interpersonal, organizational, and community factors in ecological model. Results: The motivation, continuity, disadvantage of smoking experiences of out-of-school youth were analyzed in 10 sub-domains (curiosity, friend's invitation, mood of adapted group, habit, relieving stress, providing breaks, friendship, physical damage, loss of money, a bad sight of smoker). The reason, difficulty, advantage, reason for restarting smoking cessation experiences of out-of-school youth were analyzed in 15 sub-domains (physical damage, for future hope, invitation of others, influence of family, weight gain, emotional stress, worsening friendship, improvement physical condition, saving money, better relationships, not with bad friends, withdrawal, smoking of friends, drinking, separated a lover). Conclusion: Based on the results, it is expected that a Specialized Smoking Cessation Education Program will be developed for out-of-school youth's health activities in ecological factors.

본 연구의 목적은 청소년이 미래를 예측하고 미래의 문제를 풀어낼 미래의 대안들을 탐색하며, 자신이 원하고 바라는 미래사회의 모습을 찾고, 그 사회에서 자신이 실현할 미래의 직업을 발견하거나 창조하는 미래진로프로그램을 개발하고, 그 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 그 결과, 청소년 미래진로프로그램은 미래이해, 미래참여, 미래의 나, 미래경영으로 총 4 모듈을 개발하였다. 개발된 미래진로프로그램의 적용 효과를 알아보기 위하여 K대학의 영재교육원의 학생 93명을 대상으로 사전-사후 실험 연구를 진행하였다. 청소년의 미래진로프로그램에는 남학생 62명, 여학생 31명, 중학생 62명, 고등학생 31명이 참여하였다. 분석결과 전반적으로 청소년의 미래효능감이 통계적으로 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다(t=7.810, p<.001). 결과적으로 청소년 미래진로프로그램에 참여한 청소년은 평소에 의문을 갖고 문제에 대해 분석하고, 자신에 대하여 성찰하며, 자신이 살고 있는 지역의 문제에 관심을 갖게 되는 등 생활에 있어 새로운 의미를 생성하는 능력이 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 배움을 통해 새로운 것을 깨달아 현실에 적용하고, 배우면서 비판적인 사고 능력을 기르며, 배운 것을 잘 활용하는 실천력이 향상되었다. 또한, 사회를 개선하는 데 참여하는 사회 개선력이 높아졌으며, 자신을 타인에게 솔직하게 이야기하고 약점을 인정하며, 다른 사람들을 통해 새로운 것을 찾거나 만드는 의사소통능력이 향상된 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors on the characteristics of youth gambling addiction to develop the youth gambling prevention program. The data was collected by using questionnaire, from Oct 2010 to Dec 2011. Of the 2,400 surveys distributed, 2,301 were collected and 2,286 of those were used for analysis after eliminating 15 with insufficient responses. The major findings of this study can be summarized as follows. First, there were some differences on the future gambling intention and the internet addiction by gender, grade, pocket money, experience in the illegal gambling site visits and gambling experience. Students who experience in the illegal gambling site visits were represented relatively higher on the future gambling intention and the internet addiction. Second, the overall experience in the illegal gambling site visits is 6.9%, while 23.2% of the total respondents were found to be the experience of gambling. Third, the future gambling intention, irrational gambling beliefs and the internet addiction were found have positive correlation with each other.
