하천 수질관리 시스템에서 최적화를 위한 유전알고리즘의 개발 (Development of a Genetic Algorithm for the optimization in River Water Quality Management System)

  • Finding the optimal solution in the river water quality management system is very hard with the non-linearity of the water quality model. Many suggested methods for that using the linear programming, non-linear programming and dynamic programming, are failed to give an optimal solution of sufficient accuracy and satisfaction. We studied a method to find a solution optimizing the river water quality management in the aspect of the efficiency and the cost of the waste water treatment facilities satisfying the water Quality goals. In the suggested method, we use the QUAL2E water quality model and the genetic algorithm. A brief result of the project to optimize the water quality management in the Youngsan river is presented.

영산강 하구의 2011년 하계 홍수시 퇴적물이동 수치모의 (Numerical Modeling of Sediment Transport during the 2011 Summer Flood in the Youngsan River Estuary, Korea)

  • 영산강 하구는 하구둑 및 방조제 건설등의 개발 사업으로 해수유동 체계에 변화가 발생하였으며, 인위적인 하구둑 운영에 의해서 담수 방류가 조절되어 자연적인 하구와는 다른 하구순환 형태를 나타내며, 하천 기원 퇴적물의 유입이 제한적이다. 하구둑 방류가 빈번한 하계의 하구 퇴적물 이동양상과 수지를 파악하기 위하여 3차원 수치모델인 EFDC를 적용하였다. 외력 및 육상 유입 조건을 실시간으로 입력하고, 연구지역의 퇴적물 입도특성을 바탕으로 모래, 실트, 점토의 다중 입경을 적용하여 모델링을 수행하였다. 관측 조석, 조류와 부유사 농도에 대하여 보정 검정된 모델링 결과에 의하면, 2011년 8월에 부유 퇴적물은 표층에서 외해방향으로 이동하지만 중 저층에서는 하구 내측으로 이동한다. 하구둑 방류에 기인한 하구순환에 의해 실트 크기 입자에 의한 퇴적이 우세하게 나타나며, 점토 크기 입자는 대부분 하구 내에서 순환을 반복하는 양상을 보였다.

목포항 주변해역의 수질 및 식물플랑크톤 변동 특성 (Variations in Marine Environments and Phytoplankton Community around Mokpo Harbour)

  • This study was carried out to determine marine environments and phytoplankton community around Mokpo harbour on March to November during the period of 2004-2009. The remarkable fluctuations of marine environments were shown around Mokpo harbour depending on monthly and yearly. Among seasons, summer was a great that was associated with extremely releasing the freshwater from Youngsan River Weir, contributing to effect the fluctuations of water quality. Nevertheless of monthly and yearly, the molecular ratio of N:P was always shown in above 16 that was mainly attributed to freshwater discharge on March to November. This indicates that phosphorus playes an important role in limiting factor as growth in phytoplankton. During this study, Skeletonema costatum was found to be richer than the other groups of diatoms in terms of abundance and species number. Mokpo harbour, with the presence of a narrow avenue for exchange with offshore waters, has limited growth in phytoplankton, but this species is able to well adapt and fast grow under even high level of suspended solid and low intensity of light compared with other species. The discharge of freshwater is associated with significantly fluctuation of marine environments in this region, but it does not affect the quantitative and qualitative distribution of phytoplankton. It is necessary to persistently monitor based on water quality and phytoplankton community.

해양 해면 Luffariella sp.의 화학적 성분에 대한 연구 (A study on Chemical Constituents from Marine Sponge Luffariella sp.)

  • 인도네시아 Manado만의 Sulawesi에서 채집한 KB cancer cell line에 대해 in vitro로 활성을 가지고 있는 것으로 추정되는 해면 Luffariella sp.로부터 Aaptamine(1) 및 Demethyl(oxy)aaptamine(2)을 분리하였다. 이들 화합물의 화학구조는 $^1H-$, $^{13}C-NMR$, $^1H-^{13}C$(1 bond) heteronuclear multiple quantum coherence spectroscopy(HMQC), electron ionization mass spectroscopy(EIMS), UV 및 IR에 의해 밝혔다.

영산강IV지구 농업용수 통합관리시스템 개발 (Development of the Irrigation Water Management System in Yongsan river Fourth District)

  • Yongsan river 4th agricultural comprehensive development project is being developed in order to strengthen the competitiveness in the southwest sea-side district, to construct the area for the special product and so on. Different from other development project, this project is to use water from its watershed by means of using regulating reservoirs, small reservoirs and farm ponds. but the number or regulating reservoirs, small reservoirs and farm ponds involved in this project are 7, 147 and 13 respectively. So it is necessary to develope the irrigation water management system for the purpose of efficient water use in Yougsan river fourth district. In this study, the irrigation water management system was developed and by using this system. efficient water using plans could be established.

영산호 운영을 위한 홍수예보모형의 개발(I) -나주지점의 홍수유출 추정- (River Flow Forecasting Model for the Youngsan Estuary Reservoir Operations(I) -Estimation Runof Hydrographs at Naju Station)

  • The series of the papers consist of three parts to describe the development, calibration, and applications of the flood forecasting models for the Youngsan Estuarine Dam located at the mouth of the Youngsan river. And this paper discusses the hydrologic model for inflow simulation at Naju station, which constitutes 64 percent of the drainage basin of 3521 .6km$^2$ in area. A simplified TANK model was formulated to simulate hourly runoff from rainfall And the model parameters were optirnized using historical storm data, and validated with the records. The results of this paper were summarized as follows. 1. The simplified TANK model was formulated to conceptualize the hourly rainfall-run-off relationships at a watershed with four tanks in series having five runoff outlets. The runoff from each outlet was assumed to be proportional to the storage exceeding a threshold value. And each tank was linked with a drainage hole from the upper one. 2. Fifteen storm events from four year records from 1984 to 1987 were selected for this study. They varied from 81 to 289rn'm The watershed averaged, hourly rainfall data were determined from those at fifteen raingaging stations using a Thiessen method. Some missing and unrealistic records at a few stations were estimated or replaced with the values determined using a reciprocal distance square method from abjacent ones. 3. An univariate scheme was adopted to calibrate the model parameters using historical records. Some of the calibrated parameters were statistically related to antecedent precipitation. And the model simulated the streamflow close to the observed, with the mean coefficient of determination of 0.94 for all storm events. 4. The simulated streamflow were in good agreement with the historical records for ungaged condition simulation runs. The mean coefficient of determination for the runs was 0.93, nearly the same as calibration runs. This may indicates that the model performs very well in flood forecasting situations for the watershed.

해수층의 염분 변화가 일차생산자와 상위소비자의 크기구조에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Salinity Change on Biological Structure between Primary Producers and Herbivores in Water Column)

  • 영산강 하구(목포항)해역에서 해수층의 염분 변화가 1차 생산자와 상위 소비자와의 연계성에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 2003년 10월부터 2004년 9월까지 매월 8개 조사정점에서 수문 개폐 여부에 따라 개방시와 비개방시로 나누어서 현장조사를 실시하였다. 영산강 하구둑으로부터 배출되어지는 담수 유입량은 강우가 집중되었던 (여름철인) 6월과 7월에 가장 많은 양의 담수가 항내로 유입되었다. 수문 개방시 표층 염분 분포는 $6\~28.9$ psu로 수문비 개방시의 $24.4\~30.3psu$ 보다 큰 차이를 보였으며, 광소멸 계수$(K_d)$ 또한 수문 개방시에 높아 탁도가 높음을 확인 할 수 있었다. 조사 기간 동안 대발생(bloom)은 하구언 수문을 개방하지 않은 2월, 5월, 7월에 내항에서 발생하였으며, 대형식물플랑크톤이 $70\%$이상의 점유율을 보이며 우점하였다. 중형과 소형식물플랑크톤이 하구언 수문 개방일인 2003년 10월, 11월, 2004년 6월, 8월, 9월에 전체 식물플랑크톤에 대하여 높은 기여율을 보여 수문 개폐에 따라 크기 구조가 변화되었다. 수문 개방시 소형과 중형동물플랑크톤은 수문을 개방하지 않았을 때 보다 낮은 생체량 분포를 보였으며, 공간적으로는 외항보다 내항에서 다소 높은 생체량 분포를 보였다. 동물플랑크톤의 분포는 전반적으로 식물플랑크톤의 생체량 분포와 비슷한 경향을 보였다 따라서 수문 개폐에 따른 염분, 영양염 유입, 탁도 혹은 광량등의 환경인자가 1차생산자의 생체량 및 크기 구조에 영향을 주고 상위소비자인 동물플랑크톤의 생체량 분포에도 영향을 미치어 결국 두 생물들간의 연계성 변화를 초래할 수 있음을 시사한다.
