Anterior segmental osteotomy were performed in 8 patients with Angle's II malocclusion or anterior maxillary protrusion. Cupar's method was used for operation. The period of follow up for patients were 15 months by average. This study discussed the postoperative complications and soft tissue change after anterior segmental maxillary osteotomy. There are not specific major complications.

In this study, a mono-chelated compound as novel blue light emitting material, $BPh_2$(pbi) (pbi = 2-(2-Pyridyl)benzimidazole) was synthesized Organic light emitting Diodes (OLEDs), which has a ITO/NPB(40 nm)/Boron(30 nm)/$Alq_3$(1 nm)/Liq(3 nm)/Al(150 nm) structure, has been fabricated. The maximum brightness of the device is up to about 900 cd/$m^2$ and 0.54 cd/A at 11.5 V. The EL peaks and CIE coordinates of our OLEDs is 457 nm and (0.26, 0.29), respectively.

The primary purpose of this paper is to examine critically the theory of critical thinking proposed by the late Professor Young-Jung Kim. He defined the basic properties of critical thinking as active reflectivity, and listed deepness, multilaterality and domain-transitivity as primary properties for which critical thinking aims. He, then, pursued how critical thinking can be merged with creativity and proposed the concept 'critico-creative thinking'. I argue that his theory of critical thinking has some limitation, but we can develop his critico-creative thinking further.

Recently, computational calculation of molecular energy potentials and electrochemical reduction/oxidation behaviors are of very importance in view point of prediction of dye's properties such as energy levels and bandgaps of absorption. This can be influenced by their different constituents or substituents in chromogen molecules. Structural conformations and properties with computational modeling calculation are numerically simulated, which are fully or partly based on fundamental laws of physics. In addition, cyclic voltammetric measurement was used to obtain the experimental redox potential values, which were compared to the computed simulation values.

This paper describes measurement and diagnosis methods for electromagnetic wave using a VHF(Very High Frequency) antenna. In the laboratory partial discharges are generated on a needle-plate and a plate-plate configuration. The detected electromagnetic wave is analyzed by FFT(Fast Fourier Transform). We propose a methode to classify creeping partial discharge and corona partial discharge that are detected in three frequency bands.
