This paper suggests the way to perform the handover by predicting the movement route of the mobile terminal by considering the movement pattern of the user. By considering the fact that the most users has the constant movement pattern, the channels needed fur the handover can be reserved, and the required quality of service (QoS) is maintained during handover. The suggested algorithm makes the channel allocation schemes more efficient.

High quality power supplying of power distribution system in electric railway system is the important function. Power feeding system is complicated witch is compose with distribution line, circuit break, protection facilities and so on. Among this components, role of substation is most important for elevation of reliability in electric power system. Therefore, the enhanced reliability considering the preventive inspection, repair work, replacement is necessary. In this study, a proposed the enhanced reliability method through a calculation of fault probability in power feeding system.

In this paper, to verify the safety of railway vehicle structure, we describe the test methods of roof structure. The purpose of GM/RT 2100' missile protection article is to minimise the risk of injury which could result from the penetration into a vehicle body by missile such as stones and bricks. we carried out weight drop test on the roof structure in accordance with GM/RT 2100. The test results showed that the penetration did not occer.

We have investigated mechanical behaviors of composite materials containing Ni-Ti shape memory alloy(SMA) wires by performing several experimental methods. In this study, several sample specimens were fabricated in order to perform photo-elasticity tests and impact tests under various test conditions for investigating the mechanical behaviors of the SMA composite materials. From the test results, the shape memory effect of SMA in composite materials can be considered as one of possible ways in controlling crack growth in the materials.
