우리나라의 남해안에 산재되어 있는 멸치젓갈 가공공장의 멸치액젓의 가공공정을 보면 숙성된 멸치젓에서 액젓을 착즙한 후에 남는 발효잔사는 25％내외의 염수를 혼합하여 다시 2차 발효시킨 후에 2차액으로 분리하여 제품으로 재이용되고 있다. 그러나 그후 발생하는 멸치액젓 발효잔사는 13％이상의 높은 단백질을 함유하고 있으나 높은 식염함량으로 인해 식품소재로의 적절한 전환없이 폐기되거나 일부는 사료로 이용되고 있는 실정이다. (중략)

The vanilloid receptor VR has attracted great interest as a sensory transducer for capsaicin. protons, and heat. and as a therapeutic target. On the basis of the previous studies on vanilloid agonists and antagonists. we have looked for non-vanilloid VR antagonists by developing ideal vanilloid equivalents, which might provide the perfect analgesic effects without the side effects caused by vanilloid receptor agonists. We present a result of $^{13}CO$(1-0) survey toward the Outer Galactic Plane using the multi-beam receiver system recently installed on the 14 m telescope at Taeduk Radio Astronomy Observatory(TRAO). Our first target region is from $l=108^{\circ}$ to $113^{\circ}$ and $b=-1^{\circ}$ to $+1^{\circ}$, and some extended regions are included where emission is still arising. All data are on 50" grid. Velocity resolution is 0.63 km/sec, and the total velocity range is from -150 km/sec to 100 km/sec. A total of 40,000 spectra were obtained. The rms noise is about 0.2 K per channel for unsmoothed raw data. We will present a few initial results of the survey database.

This study aimed to analyze the relationship between catch amount and market price of sandfish for improvement of fishing revenues and effective fisheries management. By estimating the sandfish price function by fishery, the study tried to investigate changes of prices by catch amount as well as changes of fishing revenues by catch amount and price. Results showed that time series data on catch and price were estimated to be non-stationary from unit root tests, but long-term equilibrium relations between catch amount and price were found from a cointegration analysis. Results of regression analyses indicated that the catch amount would have negative impacts on prices of sandfish in both coastal gillnet and danish seine fisheries.
