분할된 ALE 방법에 의한 평금형 열간압출의 3차원 유한요소해석 (Three-dimensional finite element analysis of hot square die extrusion by using split ALE method)

  • In the analysis of metal forming process, ALE(Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) finite element methods have been increasingly used for the capability to control mesh independently from material flow. The methods can be divided into two groups i.e., coupled and split formulations. In the present work, the split ALE formulation is used for computational efficiency. A split ALE finite element method developed for rigid-viscoplastic materials and applied to the analysis of hot square die extrusion. Since thermal state greatly affects the product quality, an ALE scheme for temperature analysis is also presented. As computational examples, profile shapes as square and cross-like sections are chosen.

  • A unique process was developed to improve the mechanical properties of a circular tube. In this proposed process, a large amount of strain is applied to the wall of tube, leading to grain refinement in the material. In order to investigate characteristics of microstructural evolution such as the distribution of grain size and misorientation angle during the process, an EBSD OIM analysis was carried out. The analysis confirms that the proposed process can very effectively produce a circular tube with ultrafine-grains.

  • Experimental studies on the fabrication of sub-30 nm nanofibers using weakly two-photon induced photopolymerized region have been carried out. For the generation of nanofibers inside or outside microstructures, an over-polymerizing method involving a long exposure technique (LET) was proposed. Such nanofibers can find meaningful applications as bio-filters, mixers, and many other uses in diverse research field. A multitude of nanofibers with a notably high resolution (about 22 nm) in two-photon polymerization was achieved using the LET. Furthermore, it was demonstrated that the LET can be employed for the direct fabrication of various embossing patterns by controlling the exposure duration and the interval between voxels. Thin interconnecting networks are formed regularly in the boundary of the over-polymerized region, which allows for the creation of various pattern shapes. Overall of this work, some patterns including nanofibers are fabricated by the LET.

구형 PN 접합의 항복전압에 대한 소고 (On the Breakdown Voltage of Spherical PN Junction)

  • Baliga는 구형 PN 접합에 대한 해석적인 항복전압을 유도하였으며, 이 식은 ${\gamma}(r_j/W_{pp})$ 값이 1보다 큰 구간에서 구형 접합의 항복전압이 원통형 및 평면형 항복진압 보다 큰 값을 가지게 된다. 기본적으로 구형 접합의 한복전압이 원통형과 평면형 접합의 항복전압보다 클 수 없기 때문에 이는 명백한 오류이다. 이 오류는 식을 구하는 과정에서 소수점 두 자리를 무시하고 계산을 하였기 때문임을 밝혀냈으며, 또한 이러한 작은 실수가 구형 접합의 항복전압에 미치는 영향이 지대할 수 있다는 결과를 보고하고자 한다.

  • Approximate equations for cylindrical breakdown voltages of planar pn junctions are proposed and verified. The equations show good agreement with the Baliga's results for rj/Wpp${\leq}0.3$ and with numerical results for rj/Wpp${\geq}0.3$ within 1 % error. Sensitivity of the breakdown voltage with respect to the doping concentrations is successfully derived using the approximate equations. The sensitivity formula can be utilized in the area of tolerance design of power semiconductor devices.

  • Tracheostomal stenosis after total laryngectomy is brothersome problem to surgeon and patient. To prevent tracheostomal stenosis, tension around the tracheostoma must be released. Advancement flap, V-Y inset and Z-plasty were suggested as solution to tracheostomal stenosis. But such methods need elevation of superior flap and it is very difficult when the patients received radiotherapy and has high change of developing pharyngocutaneous fistula. We suggested new stomaplasty technique which named "Modified Fish-Mouth Technique" that does not need to elevate superior skin flap.

  • 이젝터 시스템은 주유동 제트에 발생되는 전단 응력과 압력차에 의해 흡입 챔버 압력에 영향을 미치거나 이차 흡입 유동을 유도한다. 이젝터는 터빈 기반 복합사이클 추진기관 및 로켓엔진의 고고도 모사 설비, 압력회복장치, 담수화 시스템, 이젝터 램젯시스템과 같이 많은 분야에 적용되어 널리 사용된다. 본 연구에서는 다양한 고고도 환경 모사를 위한 멀티 이젝터의 형상 및 운전 조건을 결정하는 설계 절차를 수립하고자 하였다.

  • We have been trying to do our every efforts in various division in order to get more highly competition of products in steel industry, Especially, for the industry of cold mill, We are making high degree durability & elegant of steel plate from high quality plating & coating. Recently, Induction heating equipments are used to be choose in order to heat the steel plate in processing of drying and of curing after plating and coating are done. This paper will describe the theory of induction heating, consideration matters to decide power supply, structure of heating coil & manufacturing, operating methods etc, also it will present installation reference.

  • Galvannealed Sheet Steel, which is being widely used in the automotive industry, is made by reheat after dip zinc galvanizing process. By this, A Fe-Zn alloy is created which enhance anticorrosive property and weldability. This paper describes basic design for 2000kW induction heating inverter system for galvannealling process and test result of 250kW inverter module which is used in parallel to form 2000kW inverter system.
