벼의 생산력 분석 -[1] 한계 수량- (Analysis of Productivity in Rice Plant -[I] Potential Grain Yield-)

  • 수원 213, 수원 214, 진흥 및 팔달의 한계수량을 각엽위엽의 한계 수량으로부터 계산하였다. 한계수량의 패턴이 각엽의 백분을 기여도에 따라 IR 667계통은 상위엽 의존형인 반면 진흥과 팔달은 하위엽 의존형으로 구분할 수 있었다. 이러한 패턴은 각기 조기노화 및 내음성과 관련될 것으로 추정되었다. 한계수량과 실수랑을 비교한 결과 초형이 비교적 불량한 진흥과 팔달은 보다 더 한계수량에 미달하였다. 한계수량이 갖는 영양생리 및 육종에 있어서의 의의를 검토하였으며 한계수량 측정방법도 논의하였다.

Cold Tolerance Characteristic Test of High Yield Tongil-type Rice Breeding Lines for Processing

  • Recently, the yield potential of high yield Tongil-type rice varieties has greatly increased, reaching 817kg/10a(Geumgang No.1). Moreover, in order to promote rice consumption and strengthen the competitiveness of the rice processing industry, the R&D of high yield Tongil-type rice varieties for each processing purpose, such as rice noodles, grain feed and industrial materials, has been continuously carried out. However, because Tongil-type rice varieties or lines are generally very vulnerable to cold damage, cold tolerance test can be said to be absolutely necessary to improve the cultivation safety. This study is the result of the seedling and field cold tolerance characteristic tests carried out in 2021 of high yield Tongil-type rice breeding lines. For the cold tolerance characteristic test of seedlings, total 303 high yield rice breeding lines for processing were treated in cold water of 13℃ and irrigation depth of 4cm for 10 days from the third-leaf age, then it was evaluated by comparing the degree of discoloration and withering with the checked varieties(Boramchan, Hanahreum No.2). Also, for the test of field, total 186 high yield rice breeding lines for processing were treated in cold water of 17℃ by keeping pouring day and night from 30 days after transplanting to ripening stage, then it was evaluated by comparing the degree of discoloration, delay of heading, shortening rate of stem length and percent of fertile grain etc. with the checked varieties. And the cold tolerance evaluative criteria were classified as strong(1~3), medium(4~6) and weak(7~9) in overall cold tolerance. (Seedling test) As for the degree of cold tolerance of the check variety, 'Boramchan' and 'Hanahreum No.2' showed a response of 'medium' and 'weak', respectively. However, there was no 'strong' line in the high yield rice breeding lines, 2 lines showed a 'medium' response, and 301 lines showed a 'weak' response. Therefore, except for a few lines(0.7%), most lines(99.3%) showed a 'weak' response. (Field test) In terms of the overall cold tolerance of the check variety, both 'Boramchan' and 'Hanahreum No.2' showed a 'medium' response. Similarly, there was no 'strong' line in the case of high yield rice breeding lines, 20 lines showed a 'medium' response, and 166 lines showed a 'weak' response. Therefore, except for some(10.8%) lines, most(89.2%) lines showed a 'weak' response. From the above results, we selected about 100 individuals with less seed shattering and degeneration of the ear tip, and with a relatively high percent of fertile grain, and are continuing to select lines with improved cold tolerance in the F4~F5 group in this year. As such, most of the Tongil-type rice varieties have poor cold tolerance and thus have low cultivation safety at low temperatures. However, it is important to select improved lines through generational progress because there are some lines that still have a certain level of cold tolerance among them.

두 대체품에 대한 수익관리 모형 연구 (Yield Management Models for Two Substitutable Products)

  • Yield management, which originated from the U.S. service industry, uses pricing techniques and information systems to make demand management decisions. Demand uncertainty is an important factor in the area of demand management. A key strategy to reduce the effects of demand uncertainty is substitution. The most generally known type of substitution is inventory-driven substitution, in which consumers substitute an out-of-stock product by buying a similar or other type of product. Another type of substitution is the price-driven substitution, which occurs as a result of price changes. In this research, we consider two market segments that have unique perishable products. We develop yield management optimization models with stochastic demand based on the newsvendor model where inventory-driven and price-driven substitutions are allowed between products in the two market segments. The most significant contribution of this research is that it develops analytical procedures to determine optimal solutions and considers both types of substitution. We also provide detailed theoretical analysis and numerical examples.

경운방법 및 비료종류가 호밀의 사초수량, 품질 및 생산비에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Tillage System and Fertilizer Type on the Forage Yield, Quality, and Production Cost of Winter Rye)

  • 밭에서 호밀에 경운방법과 비료종류를 달리하였을 때 사초의 생산성, 품질 및 생산비를 비교하기 위하여 수행하였다. 본 시험은 2×2=4요인 시험으로 경운방법은 경운과 무경운을 두었으며, 비료종류는 화학비료와 퇴비를 두었다. 호밀의 건물률, TDN 수량 및 CP 수량은 처리간에 유의적인 차이가 없었으나, 경운의 건물수량은 무경운보다 많았다(P<0.01). 한편 비료종류에서는 화학비료의 건물수량, TDN 수량 및 CP 수량이 퇴비보다 많았다. 호밀의 조단백질 함량은 무경운이 경운보다 높았으나((P<0.05), 비료의 종류에서는 처리간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 호밀의 NDF, ADF 및 TDN 함량은 처리간에 유의적인 차이가 없었다. 호밀의 면적당 생산비는 경운이 무경운보다 많았으나, 원물, 건물 및 TDN 1kg당 생산비는 무경운이 많았다. 한편 비료의 종류에서는 화학비료의 면적당 생산비가 퇴비보다 많았으나 원물, 건물 및 TDN 1kg당 생산비는 화학비료가 적었다. 이는 경운과 화학비료가 무경운과 퇴비보다 사초수량이 많았기 때문이다. 이상의 시험결과를 볼 때 경운방법과 비료종류는 호밀의 품질보다 사초수량에 많은 영향을 미쳤다. 경운과 화학비료가 무경운과 퇴비보다 호밀의 1kg당 생산비가 적었는데 이는 경운과 화학비료의 사초수량이 다른 처리구보다 많았기 때문이다.

  • 경운방법과 비료종류를 달리하였을때 이탈리안 라이그라스의 사료수량과 품질을 비교하기 위하여 수행하였다. 본 시험은 $2{\times}2=4$ 요인시험으로 경운방법은 관행(경운과 로터리)과 무경을 두었으며, 비료종류는 화학비료와 퇴비를 두었다. 이탈리안 라이그라스의 초장, 건물률, 건물수량, TDN 수량 및 CP 수량은 경운방법에서 처리간에 유의적인 차이가 있었다. 특히 무경운이 관행경운(경운+로터리)보다 건물수량, TDN 수량 및 CP 수량이 많았다. 그러나 비료의 종류에서는 처리간의 사초 생산성의 차이가 없었다. 이탈리안 라이그라스의 조단백질 함량은 처리간에 차이가 없었다. 한편 ADF 및 NDF 함량에서는 무경운이 경운보다 많았으나 TDN 및 RFV 함량은 경운이 무경운보다 높았다. 비료의 종류에서 ADF 함량은 퇴비구가 높았으나 TDN 함량은 화학비료가 높았다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 이탈리안 라이그라스에서 경운방법은 무경운이 관행경운보다 수량은 많으나 품질은 낮았다. 한편 비료의 종류에서는 사초수량의 차이는 없고 품질 차이도 적었다.

Growth, quality, and yield characteristics of transgenic potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) overexpressing StMyb1R-1 under water deficit

  • This study was conducted to evaluate agronomic characteristics such as growth, quality, and yields of StMyb1R-1 transgenic potato and also to obtain the basic data for establishing assessment guidelines of transgenic potato. Three transgenic lines (Myb 1, Myb 2, and Myb 8) were cultivated under conventional irrigation, drought condition, and severe drought condition and were analyzed by comparing with wild type, non-transgenic cv. Superior. Myb 2 showed a different flower color from wild type and Myb 1 had much bigger secondary leaflets than wild type. Myb 1 and Myb 2 showed higher $P_2O_5$ content in both top and root zone and longer shaped tubers than wild type. In yield factors, transgenic lines had more tubers than wild type, however their yield decreases were severe because of the poor enlargement of tuber under water deficit condition. This tendency was noticeable in Myb 1 and Myb 2. In TR ratio, chlorophyll content, dry matter rate, and relative water content, there were no big differences between transgenic lines and wild type. Meanwhile, in phenotype, growth, quality, and yield factors, substantial equivalent was confirmed between Myb 8 and wild type. Then, Myb 8 showed the highest marketable tuber yield under conventional irrigation, while showed lower level than wild type under water deficit. Judged by this result, the enhancing droughttolerance by StMyb1R-1 gene might actually not mean the enhancement of photosynthesis or starch accumulation in tuber and, furthermore, not the yield improvement. More detailed research will be required to accurately understand the relationship between StMyb1R-1 and yield factors.

수수$\times$수단그라스 교잡종의 출수형과 불출수형 품종간 예취횟수가 수량성 및 사료가치에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Cutting Frequency on Yield and Nutritive Value Between Heading and Headless Varieties of Sorghum$\times$Sudangrass Hybrid)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effects of cutting frequency on dry matter yield and nutritive value between heading and headless varieties of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid in 1998. Treatments were var. TE hay grazer(heading type) and Jumbo(headless type) as main plot, and 1, 2, and 3 cutting times per a year as sub plot. Although plant height of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid was no significant difference among treatments, headless type was very slightly higher than that of heading type, and both of variety decreased with 1, 2, and 3 cutting times in order. Also, dry matter yield of sorghum~sudangrass hybrid was no significant difference between heading and headless type. Dry matter yield of first cutting plot in heading type and in headless type was the higher than those of second and third cutting plot. Acid detergent fiber and neutral detergent fiber of headless type were slightly higher than that of heading type. Acid detergent fiber of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid was highest at first cutting plot in both varieties. Neutral detergent fiber of second cutting plot in heading type and first cutting plot in headless type were the highest respectively. In vitro dry matter digestibility of headless type was very slightly higher than that of heading type. And in vitro dry matter digestibility of second cutting plot was the highest in both varieties. In vitro digestible dry matter of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid was no significant difference among treatments. The results demonstrated that although there was not significant difference, cultivation of headless type and first cutting plot per a year were very good for nutritive value and DM yield of sorghumxsudangrass hybrid as summer forage crops in Korea. 상번초 및 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지의 건물수량 및 사료가치 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study of Dry Matter Yield and Nutritive Value of Tall type and Tail + Short type Mixtures)

  • 본 시험은 초지를 상번초형 및 상+하번초형으로 혼파조합하여 조성하였을 때 목초의 건물수량, 품질 및 식생구성에 미치는 영향을 비교하고자 1999년 9철부터 2002년 12월까지 충남대학교 농업생명과학대학내 부속 초지시험포장에서 수행하였다. 공시된 혼파초지는 상번초형 혼파초지{orchardgrass, Potomac 40+tall fescue, Fawn 20+Festulolium braunii, Paulita 10+perennial ryegrass, Reveille 10+timothy, Climax 10+ red clover, Kenblue 5+ alfalfa, Vernal 5%)와 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지(orchardgrass, Potomac 40+tall fescue, Fawn 20+Kentucky bluegrass, New port(turf type) 10+redtop, Barricuda(turf type) 10+perennial ryegrass, Palmer III(turf type) 10+red fescue, Flyer II(turf type) 5+white clover, Regal 5%}의 두 처리를 두어 시험하였으며, 얻어진 시험결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 3년 평균 건물수량은 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지가 13,732kg/ha으로 상번초형 혼파초지의 13,117kg/ha 보다 약간 높았으나 유의적인 차이는 나타나지 않았다. 2) 상번초형 혼파초지와 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지간에 화학적 성분의 뚜렷한 차이는 없었다. 그러나 상번초형 혼파초지에서는 cellulose와 lignin 함량이 다소 높은 경향을 보였다. 한편, 건물소화율은 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지에서 다소 높은 결과를 보였다(p < 0.05). 3) 3년 평균 조단백질 건물수량은 두 처리간 차이가 인정되지 않았으나, 가소화건물수량은 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지가 10,670kg/ha으로 상번초형 혼파초지의 가소화건물수량 9,955kg/ha에 비하여 높은 결과를 가져왔다(p < 0.05). 4) 연차가 경과함에 따라 상번초형 혼파초지에서 식생을 높게 유지한 초종은 tall fescue, alfalfa 및 orchardgrass 등이었으며 timothy는 없어진 반면에, 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지에서는 white clover, tall fescue 및 orchardgrass 등의 식생비율이 높았으며, redtop, red fescue와 같은 하번초 초종의 식생도 비교적 고르게 유지되었다. 따라서, 상번초형 혼파초지에 비하여 상ㆍ하번초형 혼파초지는 목초의 건물수량과 품질에는 큰 영향을 미치지 못하였으나, 건물소화율 및 가소화건물수량이 높았고(p < 0.05), 연중 고르게 식생을 유지할 수 있었던 것으로 보아 생장습성이 다른 초종을 다양하게 혼파 이용하는 것도 좋을 것으로 사료된다.

3상 전압인가형 중첩방전 오존발생기의 오존생성 상승효과 (Ozone Generation Synergy Effects of Three-Phase Voltage Apply Type Superposed Discharge Ozonizer)

  • Nowadays, ozone is mainly utilized for water treatment and home equipments. Although the demand for ozone is increasing, the ozone yield of silent discharge type ozonizer is low. Therefore, it is expected to improve the energy efficiency and ozone yield of an ozonizer. In this paper, a new ozone generation system is proposed. The 60[Hz] three-phase voltage is applied to three-phase superposed discharge type ozonizer(3PSDO) which has three electrodes(central, internal and external electrodes). There is no discharge pause time when three-phase voltage is applied due to 120-degree phase difference of applied voltage. The synergy effect of the three-phase superposed discharge type ozonizer is investigated by comparing with the three sort of single-phase discharge type ozonizer(1PDO). So, three-phase superposed discharge type ozonizer is able to obtain high ozone yield, and optimize discharge space, because this can increase the discharge power at low applied voltage.

The Growth phase and yield difference of Kenaf(Hibiscus cannabinus L.) in reclaimed land according to the source and physical types of organic materials

  • To improve the reclaimed land soil, we put organic materials (Chopped kenaf, decomposed rice hull, rice straw, pellet type manure compost) into reclaimed land for 3,000 kg per 10a. As a result, EC of reclaimed soil was lowered by 58% ($1.2dS/m{\rightarrow}0.5$), content of soil organic material was risen from 6.7 g/kg to 16.0 (1.4 fold ${\uparrow}$), porosity of soil was elevated from 1.57 % to 1.31 (16.6% ${\downarrow}$), soil hardness was reduced from 20.2 mm to 17.9 (11.4% ${\downarrow}$) and plow layer soil was deepen from 19.8 cm to 26.8 (35% ${\uparrow}$). In the wake of physiochemical improvement of reclaimed soil, the growth phase of crops became better contrast to non-treatment. For example the plant height of Kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) cultivated in reclaimed land containing organic materials was lengthen by 18.8%. Especially, the improvment effect of pellet type manure compost and rice straw was more preferable. When the kenaf was cultivated in reclaimed land containing organic materials, the yield was become higher. The average yield of organic materials treatment was 9,218 kg/10a, and it was 2.1 times higher than non-treatment (4,368kg/10a). And the effective treatments to increase yields were pellet type manure compost (10,848 kg/10a, 148% ${\uparrow}$), rice straw (120% ${\uparrow}$) and chopped kenaf (95% ${\uparrow}$). To intensify the effect of physicochemical enhancement of reclaimed land soil and improving yields, we put into various physical types of organic materials (pellet type, liquid type, powdered type). The most effective organic materials type for enhancement of physicochemical properties (EC of reclaimed soil was lowered, content of soil organic material was risen, porosity of soil was elevated, soil hardness was reduced, plow layer soil was deepen) was pellet. And source to maintain better growth phase and get more yield were liquid and pellet types. When we used pellet type organic material, the plant height of kenaf was lengthen by 41% in comparison with non-treatment and yield was more than 122% more. And also liquid type could get more yield (by 127%) and growth phase (by 38%)
