The purpose of this study is to investigate the origin of make-up and the beginning of 'Yoenji' cosmetics. The result of this study is as follows: 1. The origin of make-up can be summarized as being originated from the sexual display to maintain tribes and incantatory religion for their existence. The reason for the preference to Yeonji in make-up is that Yeonji has a characteristic of red in color, which seems to hold effective for the sexual display of human beings. 2. The origin of Yeonji (焉支; Safflower) was from Egypt, but its inception as a cosmetic product was with Huns. 'Yeonji' was a term of Hungro race, and was also called Unji (焉支), Yeonji (燕支), Inji (姻支), Urji (閼氏), following the similarity of the sound. These terms were not only the interpretation of the Hunnish sound into Chinese, but also allegorical expression. Unji (焉支), Yeonji (燕支), and Inji (姻支) meant Safflower. Urji(閼氏) meant 'Empress' or 'Wife,' which was pronounced Yeonji (燕支) and Asi (閼氏).

Bongchae is primarily employed for toning, which is the last step in the conservation treatment of paper's cultural properties. The objective of this study is to identify the coloring patterns of four types of Bongchae(Bonram, Gamboge, Yeonji, and Daeja) and determine the associated color change patterns through accelerated aging experiments. By examining the coloring patterns, it is observed that Yeonji, Bonram, and Daeja are painted as particles, whereas Gamboge indicates a close state of coating. Results obtained from X-ray diffraction analysis of Bongchae indicate that the presence of quartz, calcite, and pyrophyllite can be equally detected in Bonram, Yeonji, and Daeja. Additionally, the presence of goethite is also detected in Daeja. Gamboge becomes discolored from yellow to orange color during wet thermal aging, and Gamboge and Yeonji become decolorized during UV irradiation aging. Hence, cultural properties of paper colored with Gamboge can be predicted to become discolored to orange color by alkalis and can be darkened by UV rays because the decolorization of Gamboge and Yeonji occurs preferentially.

The focus of this study is on the diffusion and aspects of Yoenji make-up in China. The diffusion of Yoenji make-up into China was achieved by Zhuang-Kun's departure for the West of China, after Emperor Moo of Han Dynasty defeated the Huns (B.C. 121). The Yoenji make-up is basically used as a unique sign and from the result of excessive development from the facial beauty point in accordance with luxurious Court culture and opening door of culture. It can diversely express kinds, names, ways, types and patterns, places and bodily parts, the colors of materials for use, and time zones of a make-up.

The purpose of this to study was to find out relationships between the Make-up and the Humanbeing's Eroticism. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The Make-up is the sexual display for the tribes propagation and maintain and is derived from the eroticism to seduce the opposite sex. 2. The red color of Yeonji make-up makes a great contribution to sexual sensibility and is effective to attain the solemn and original desire.

This study aimed to interpret the coloring materials recorded in the ceremonial writing with the scientific investigation results of the Hanging Painting of the Chiljangsa Temple (Five Buddhas). The results confirm that the Jinboon, Joohong, Hwangdan, Hwanggeum and Seokjahwang are clearly connected to lead white, cinnabar, minium, gold, and orpiment, respectively. Danghayeop and samrok are related to Copper trihydroxychloride, while Daecheong and Joongcheong are azurite, and they seems to be classified by the particle size. Yeonji and Chunghwa are organic dyes in red and blue, respectively, with blue confirming the existence of the side, but Yeonji differs from the names of the ancient texts and Chinese characters; it is unclear whether it is a commonly used Yeonji because of differences in the names of the ancient texts. The presence of Sootohwang has not been confirmed in the gwaebultaeng, but it can be extracted from the soil as a yellow-colored material but the possibility of Deunghwang cannot be ruled out.

The purpose of this study was to show the characteristics of phonetic contrasts of one-syllable words and speech intelligibility in hearing-impaired adults. Seven subjects with hearing-impaired participated in this experiment(2 males, 5 females). The test materials are 77 pairs of one-syllable words with phonetic contrasts. The results of this study were as follows: (1) The average score of intelligibility(scored accuracy) was the highest in contrasts of onset feature. (2) The scored percentages of error(except for combinations of contrasts) were the highest in articulatory manner contrasts of onset, tongue height contrasts of nucleus, and articulatory place contrasts of coda, respectively.

본 실험에서는 단어회상이 영어어휘 학습에 미치는 영향을 살펴보기 위해 160개 단어 쌍에 대해 어휘학습을 실시하였다. 세 종류의 어휘 학습 방법(교대학습, 반복검사, 반복학습)을 채택하여 학습을 실시하였으며 학습 1주일 후 160개 단어 쌍에 대해 지연회상검사를 실행하였다. 그 결과 세 종류의 어휘 학습 방법 중 단어회상을 강조한 두 개의 어휘 학습 방법에서 그렇지 않은 조건에 비해 유의미하게 좋은 지연회상률을 보였다. 또한 실험 참가자를 대상으로 선호하는 학습 방법에 대해 설문조사를 실시한 결과 63.5%의 설문 응답자가 한 번 학습한 것에 대해 스스로 시행하는 회상 검사를 선호하였다. 그러나 자가검증을 통한 회상 검사 자체가 효과적인 학습 방법이라고는 생각하지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

최근 범죄 예방에 대한 관심도가 높아져 가고 있고, 이러한 요구사항을 수용한 다양한 모바일 앱이 제시되고 있다. 본 논문은 택시 범죄를 예방하고 승객의 안전 관리를 위한 모바일 앱의 설계를 제안한다. 제안하는 모바일 앱은 비전기반 증강현실을 이용하여 택시 번호판 조회 기능을 제공하고 GPS 위치 정보를 활용하여 길 안내 및 예상 경로 안내 서비스를 제공한다. 이를 통해 승객의 안정성과 편의성을 증대하도록 한다.
