Compliance Analysis and Vibration Control of the Safe Arm with MR-based Passive Compliant Joints

  • In this paper, a design and control of the safe arm with passive compliant joints(PCJ) is presented. Each PCJ has a magneto- rheological damper and maximum 6 springs. Compliance analysis in Cartesian space is performed with the compliance ellipsoid; this analysis shows a map between compliance in the joint space and compliance in Cartesian space. Vibration control of the arm using an input shaping technique is also presented; the results of a simulation and an experiment prove that a fast motion of the safe arm without residual vibration can be performed.

  • This paper has been studied a ADI-FDTD(Alternating Direction Implicit Finite Difference Time Domain ) algorithm using an alternating Direction time-stepping scheme for GPR( Ground-Penetrating Radar ) system simulation. We did the numerical formulations for three-dimensional ADI-FDTD algorithm and PML(Perfect Matched Layer), and made an simple experiment on a arbitrary cube with programed algorithms. And then we compared its computed results with those of conventional FDTD.

  • Open loop microstepping control of two phase hybrid step motors provides enhanced step resolution, smoothness of operation, and removes most of the objectionable resonance phenomena. In this paper, we discuss the technigues about design and implementation of microstepping driver of two phase hybrid step motors.

한국 담수산 완보류 (Freshwater Tardigrades from Korea)

  • 1986년 5월부터 1988년 1월까지 전국 19개 지점의 강, 호수, 연못, 웅덩이, 논등의 담수역에서 채집된 완보류를 동정한 결과 2과 7종을 확인 하였는데 이 중, Dactylobiotus dispar와 Hypsibius dujardini를 제외한 나머지 5종은 한국에서 처음으로 보고되는 종들로, 이들은 다음과 같다 : Macrobiotus hufellandi, M. richtersi, Hypsibius convergens, Isohypsibius granulifer, Pseudobiotus megalonix. 한국미기록 5종을 모두 기재, 논의하였고 아울러 도판을 작성하였다.

한우(韓牛)에 집단발생(集團發生)한 백선균증(白癬菌症)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Studies on Dermatophytosis of Korean Cattle)

  • This experiment was undertaken to determine the causative agent of dermatophytosis occurred in Korean native cattle. A total of 54 cases were examined, of which 52 were derived from a herd and the others from market. Direct microscopic examination, culture and pathogenicity test were performed for the samples (hairs and scales) obtained from the skin lesions of the affected cattle. The causative agent was identified as Trichophyton verrucosum exclusively in these cases.

  • Flexible assembly line (FAL) is a production system that assembles various parts in unidirectional flow line with many constraints and manufacturing flexibilities. In this research we deal with a FAL balancing problem with the objective of minimizing the maximum workload allocated to the stations. However, almost all the existing researches do not appropriately consider various constraints due to the problem complexity. Therefore, this thesis addresses a balancing problem of FAL with many constraints and manufacturing flexibilities, unlike the previous researches. To solve this problem we use a genetic algorithm (GA). To apply GA to FAL, we suggest a genetic representation suitable for FAL balancing and devise evaluation method for individual's fitness and genetic operators specific to the problem, including efficient repair method for preserving solution feasibility. The experimental results are reported.

대지전위와 통신회선 잡음.발생에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Generation of the Earth Potential and Communication Line Noise)

  • 본 논문에서는 전기철도에서 발생하는 대지전위와 통신회선의 잡음에 대한 실험적 증명에 관한 것이다. 대지전위차가 발생하는 곳에서 전력유도잡음전압과 케이블 평형도 등을 측정할 경우 계측 오차가 심각하게 발생되는 것으로 나타났다. 측정결과, 고속철도 인접한 곳의 통신케이블은 시스층에 지전류가 많이 흐르는 차폐 케이블보다 일반 케이블을 그대로 사용하는 것이 잡음피해를 보다 줄일 수 있음이 실험 결과로 확인 되었다.

Hanwoo(Korean Cattle) Traceability Using DNA Markers

  • To apply and evaluate the effectiveness of genetic markers on Hanwoo traceability systems, samples of 33 Hanwoo individuals from Korean elite sire families were used, and five microsatellite markers were selected finally, which were located on chromosomes different chromosomes with the end sequencing of 100 HW-YUBAC that were recorded in the NCBI by Yeungnam University. Ten major microsatellite markers were selected from alleles amplified, their frequencies, H(Heterozygosity) and PIC(Polymorphism information content) with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. Next, in order to evaluate the power of the markers selected on the individual animal identification, the match probability(MP) and the relatedness coefficient(R) were computed.
