수산식품 중 노인성 퇴행성 질환과 관련된 알루미늄 함량 및 그에 따른 수산식품의 이용방안에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Aluminum Content in Fishes Caught from Several Areas of the West Coast in Korea)

  • 알루미늄 등 중금속 오염이 점점 심화되고 있는 서해안 일부지역에서 포획되고 있는 46종의 어패류 중 알루미늄 함량의 평균은 88.38$\pm$189.03ppm으로 그 범위는 0.97-827.70ppm이었는데 24종의 생선 중 알루미늄 함량은 그 범위가 0.97ppm에서 45.12ppm으로 건실치에 가장 많았고 도미에 가장 적게 함유되어 있었다. 15종의 연체류가 함유하고 있는 알루미늄 함량은 3.40ppm에서 827.70ppm으로 그 차이가 매우 컸는데 복족류인 소라에 3.40ppm으로 가장 적게 함유되어 있었고 이매패류인 대합에 826ppm, 해락에 812.55ppm으로 가장 많이 함유되어 있었다. 7종의 젓갈의 알루미늄 함량은 2.50-295.15ppm으로 그 차이가 컸는데 황새기젓과 한치젓에는 그 함유량이 낮았지만 조개젓과 곤쟁이젓에는 많은 양의 알루미늄이 함유되어 있었다 생선과 연체류 및 젓갈중에 함유되어 있는 알루미늄 함량간의 유의차를 검증한 결과 연체류의 알루미늄 함량이 생선과 젓갈에 비해 유의적으로 높았다(p<0.01), 이는 일생동안 주거지를 크게 움직이지 않는 생육조건을 갖는 이매패류의 특성때문으로 사료된다.

일제강점기의 수산적 유수실태에 관한 고찰 -서해안 지역을 중심으로- (A Research on the State of Korean Seafood Marketing at the Colonial Period - Focused on the West Coast -)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the state and characteristic of seafood marketing in Korean West Coast during the colonial period ruled by Japan. To accomplish the purpose, we tried to set the fisheries statistical database by reviewing of $\boxDr$Statistical Annual Report of Chosun Chongdokbu$\boxUl$ and $\boxDr$Official Report of Chosun Chongdokbu$\boxUl$. A trend analysis was carried out with the data. Also, by reviewing of articles related to the state of seafood marketing via $\boxDr$Daehan Maeil Newspaper$\boxUl$, $\boxDr$Maeil Newspaper$\boxUl$ issued at the period, we could find out some meaningful findings which backed up the statistics in realistic facts. For numbers of businessman in seafood marketing, it was clear that the number of Japanese businessmen increased more quickly than that of Korean compared with other sphere of fisheries. That means Japanese grasped Korean seafood market in a short time. In price of seafood in terms of cities, Kunsan was comparatively higher than Incheon and Mokpo. In price of seafood in terms of species, ‘Snapper’ was mostexpensive, and ‘Mackerel Pike’, ‘Anchovy’, ‘Mullet’, ‘Eel’, ‘Flatfish’ followed in that order. In price of a species in terms of ‘Yellow Croaker’, which was famous in West Sea, ‘Croaker with salt’ was more expensive than dried and fresh one. For the transition trend of number of fish market, we could ascertain that the number of market increased until 1919, however, it decreased slowly from 1932. That means Japanese government went to war against China from 1931. Of the West Coast, the number of fish market in Chungnam province was most high, but that of Chonbuk outrun from 1940. At that time, the number of fish market in West Coast reached to 34% out of that of whole country. In 1919, the proportion of seafood sales amount of West Coast neighboring provinces, such as Kyunggido, Chungnam, and Chonbuk, was 23% of whole country which rose to 28% in 1929, and 29% in 1939. Therefore, we could assure that seafood marketing was very active at that time in the region. When we consider the trend of seafood export at the main ports of West Coast, in 1910's, the export through Mokpo and Inchon port was very live but that of Kunsan was very tiny. However, in 1920's, the export amount of Inchon port did not much change, but that of Mokpo decreased, whereas, that of Kunsan increased. In the early and middle of 1910' s which was around beginning of Japanese ruling period, we realized that the imperialist Japan was very eager in political efforts to enhance the mind of seafood's quality improvement through the opening of several fisheries competitive shows and fairs.

친환경 생분해성 그물실의 재질에 따른 연안 유자망의 어획성능 특성 (Fishing performance of a coastal drift net in accordance with materials of the environmentally-friendly biodegradable net twine)

  • The objective of this study was to estimate physical properties and fishing performances of net twine with improved PBS copolymer resin (Bio-new), the existing PBS/PBAT blending resin (Bio-old) and commercial Nylon (Nylon). The tensile strength of Bio-new monofilament was equal to Bio-old and the elongation of Bio-new was about 6 % higher than that of Bio-old in wet condition. The physical properties tests were carried out to estimate breaking load and stiffness in dry and wet conditions, respectively. In the results, the breaking load of Nylon netting was the highest whereas the elongation of Bio-new was 1.4 times higher than that of Nylon netting in wet condition. The breaking load of Bio-old netting was about 9.2 % higher than that of Bio-new netting. However, the elongation of the Bio-new netting was about 3% higher than that of Bio-old. The stiffness of the Bio-new compared to Bio-old was improved about 34 % in dry condition and about 32 % in wet condition. The filed experiments of the fishing performance were conducted with three kinds of drift nets with different netting materials in the coastal sea of Jeju. The each experimental drift net made of different materials showed the similar fishing performance. Bio-old drift net yielded less catches of small sized yellow croaker than other drift nets. The netting materials affected the fishing performance and length distribution of catches in the drift nets.

Dual Column-HRGC/ECD를 이용한 식품 중 PCBs 오염 실태조사 (Analysis of PCBs in Food by Dual Column-HRGC/ECD)

  • HRGC/ECD를 이용한 congener specific analysis 방법으로 국내 유통식품 중 PCBs의 오염실태를 조사하였다. Indicator PCB인 IUPAC #28, #52, #101, #118, #138, #153 및 #180 7종을 대상물질로 하였으며, 소고기, 돼지고기, 닭고기, 계란, 고등어, 조기, 멸치, 오징어, 바지락을 대상시료로 선정하여 서울, 부산, 광주 3개 지역에서 수집하였다. 채취한 시료는 균질화하여 알칼리 분해후 유기용매로 추출하여 지방을 분해하고 실리카겔 컬럼으로 정제하여 dual column-HRGC/ECD로 분석하였으며 검출된 시료에 대해서는 HRGC/MSD로 재확인하였다. 분석결과 고등어 등 어류 시료에서 미량수준 (0.0002~0.001 mg/kg)의 PCBs가 검출되었으며 주요 검출물질은 PCB #101과 PCB #118이었다.

  • 복수어구에 의한 단일 어종 자원의 평가모델은 단일 어종에 대한 복수어구의 어획노력량이 다르므로 어업별 어획노력량을 하나의 노력단위로 표준화하여, Fox (1970)에 의한 잉여생산량모델에 적용함으로써, 최대지속적생산량, 최대경제적생산량 및 적정어획 노력량의 값을 추정하였다. 여기서는 참조기에 대한 대형기선저인 망쌍끌이어업과 근해안강망어업에 대해 적용하였고, 이 두 어업에 대한 경제성 분석을 통하여 순이익을 추정하였다. 참조기에 대한 어업별 순이익의 변동을 비교 분석한 결과 두 어업의 경제성은 근해안강망어업이 대형기선저인망쌍끌이어업 보다 더 나은 것으로 분석되었으며, 두 어업의 순이익을 같게 하기 위해서는 대형기 선저인망쌍끌이어업의 노력량을 현재보다 증가시키고 근해안강망 어업의 노력량은 낮춰야 한다.

연안개량안강망 어업의 어획성능 및 어획능력 추정 (Estimation of fishing power and fishing capacity on coastal stow net fishery in the Korean waters)

  • The coastal stow net (stow net hereafter) in Korea is one of the major fishing methods for yellow croaker (Larimichthys polyactis), ribbon fish (Trichiurus lepturus), and anchovy (Engraulis japonicus). In terms of energy efficiency, the stow net fishery is more competitive than towing fishing gears such as trawl gears. The fishing vessels in stow net fishery have consumed less fossil fuel and also have had less carbon dioxide emission into the atmosphere. however, the stow net fishery is necessary to be regulated due to its increased output of the fleet. Therefore, it is required for fisheries authorities to manage the fishing capacity or fishing power for the assurance of fishery's sustainability. For fisheries management authorities, it is necessary to quantify data related to fishing capacity and fishing power to deploy fishery policy in a sustainable way. In terms of data for decision-making, Data envelopment analysis (DEA) method was conducted to estimate fishing capacity. Fishing power index (FPI) was also applied to calculate relative fishing power to approach the problem in a quantitative way.

수산물 중 penicillin계열 항생제의 분석 (Analysis of Penicillin Antibiotics in Aquatic Products)

  • A simple, rapid method for determining amoxicillin (AMO) and ampicillin (AMP) in aquatic products (flatfish, salmon, shrimp, tilapia, and yellow croaker) was evaluated. For quantification, the AMO and AMP ions at m/z 348.9 and 105.9, respectively, were selected. The limit of detection (LOD) and limit of quantification (LOQ) for detecting AMO were 0.09 and $0.25\;{\mu}g/L$, respectively. The respective values for AMP were 0.02 and $0.05\;{\mu}g/L$. After $100\;{\mu}g/L$ AMO treatment, the level decreased 10% after 7 days at $5^{\circ}C$, while it decreased 20% at $25^{\circ}C$. After 7 days, 94.9.100% of $100\;{\mu}g/L$ AMP remained after storage at $5^{\circ}C$, while 62.3.100% remained after storage at $25^{\circ}C$. Using the food code method, the recovery of AMO ranged from 64.1.92.0% and that of AMP from 44.8.86.2%. With a protein centrifugation method, the recovery of AMO ranged from 39.8.87.9% and that of AMP from 78.0.98.1%. With liquid-liquid extraction, the recovery of AMO ranged from 36.5.88.3% and that of AMP from 31.8.75.1%.

어육의 배소에 의한 지질산화에 관한 연구 -IV. 백색육어의 배소 및 재가열에 의한 heme 화합물의 변화- (Lipid Oxidation in Roasted Fish Meat -IV. Changes in Heme Compounds in Roasted and/or Reheated White Muscled fishes-)

  • 백색육어를 배소한 경우와 배소한 시료를 저온에 저장 후, 단계적으로 가열처리했을 때 일어나는 산화에 의한 heme 화합물의 변화를 조사하였다. Heme 화합물 중 myoglobin 함량은 각시가자미나 조기 모두 180$^{\circ}C$에서 20분간 어피 제거육의 상태로 배소한 것이 상대적으로 감소폭이 컸으며 가열, 재가열에 의해서도 감소하는 경향이었다. Myoglobin의 감소 추세에 따라 metmyoglobin 함량은 역으로 점차 증가하는 경향이었으며, 배소온도가 낮을수록 또한 어피를 제거함으로써 생성된 metmyoglobin의 함량이 높았다. 총철 함량은 배소온도와 시간을 달리하여 처리하여도 두 어종 모두 생시료와는 함량 차이가 거의 없었다. 비 heme 철은 각시가자미의 경우 생시료에는 총철함량에 대해 약 $20\%$ 정도 함유되어 있었으나, 180$^{\circ}C$에서 20분간 어피 제거육의 상태로 배소했을 경우 생시료에 비해 약 2배 정도 증가하였다. 조기는 생시료에는 건물당으로 약 0.8mg/100g 함유되어 있었으나 배소, 가열 및 재가열과 같은 반복되는 가열과정에 의해 증가하였다. Heme 철 함량은 각시가자미와 조기 모두 비 heme 철의 증가에 반비례해서 감소하였으며 또한 배소시간이 길수록 그리고 어피 잔존육보다는 어피 제거육의 감소폭이 더 컸다.

해양환경 기반 한국 연근해 어장 민감도 평가 기술 개발 (Development of Evaluation Method of Fisheries Sensitivity to Ocean Environments in Korea Waters)

  • Although scientist have been reporting recently that changes in ocean environment influence the species composition, movements, and growth of fish in Korea waters. Previous studies on fish vulnerability owing to climate changes are insufficient to explain the effect of fluctuating ocean environments on fisheries ground. In this study, we suggested a method for the assessment of fisheries sensitivity to various factors in ocean environments in Korean waters. To evaluate the fisheries sensitivity, catch data (Chub mackerel, Hairtail, Common squid, small yellow croaker) from National federation of fisheries cooperatives in Korea (1991-2017) and oceanographic data from Korea Ocean Data Center (KODC; 1960-2017) were normalized using the z-score method. Thereafter, the fisheries sensitivity was calculated using the difference between the catch data and the oceanographic data. Finally, the fisheries sensitivity was evaluated based on evaluation grade ratings. Result revealed that in the south sea, variability in catch data was obviously higher than environmental fluctuation (evaluation grade 1), indicating that catch variability in response to environmental change is most sensitive in the south sea among Korean waters in 2017. These results would be helpful for fishery management and policy for sustainable yield in Korean waters.

연근해 자망과 통발 어업의 온실가스 배출량 현장실측 연구 (Comparative study of greenhouse gas emission from coastal and offshore gillnet and trap fisheries by field research)

  • Fossil fuel combustion during fishing activities is a major contributor to climate changes in the fishing industry. The Tier1 methodology calculation and on-site continuous measurements of the greenhouse gas were carried out through the use of fuel by the coastal and offshore gillnet (blue crabs and yellow croaker) and trap (small octopus and red snow crab) fishing boats in Korea. The emission comparison results showed that the field measurements are similar to or slightly higher than the Tier1 estimates for coastal gillnet and trap. In offshore gillnet and trap fisheries, Tier1 estimate of greenhouse gases was about $1,644-13,875kg\;CO_2/L$, which was more than the field measurement value. The $CO_2$ emissions factor based on the fuel usage was $2.49-3.2kg\;CO_2/L$ for coastal fisheries and $1.46-2.24kg\;CO_2/L$ for offshore fisheries. Furthermore, GHG emissions per unit catch and the ratio of field measurement and Tier1 emission estimate were investigated. Since the total catch of coastal fish was relatively small, the emission per unit catch in coastal fisheries was four to eight times larger. The results of this study could be used to determine the baseline data for responding to changes in fisheries environment and reducing greenhouse gas emission.
