분리퇴적특성을 고려한 조립준설토의 자중압밀 침하량 평가 (Estimate on the Self-Weight Consolidation of Dredging Coarse Soil with Segregating Sedimentation Properties)

  • 일반적으로 조립준설토에 의해 매립되는 경우 매립지반은 세립토의 분리퇴적침강에 의해 퇴적성상이 크게 다르게 형성되고 있다. 본 연구는 군산 준설토에 대한 침강 및 자중압밀, 침투압밀시험 등을 실시하여 조립토 함유율에 따른 침강속도 변화와 배수속도, 퇴적층의 밀도 등이 평가되었다. 세립토의 자중압밀 침하량 예측에 적용되는 Yano 방법은 투입함수비와 계면고 관계만을 고려하여 침하량을 구하고 있다. 그러므로 조립토의 분리퇴적에 의한 침하량을 정확하게 평가할 수 있는 다른 방법이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 조립토와 세립토의 분리퇴적 밀도 변화율에 의해 현장의 자중압밀침하량을 산정하였고 일련의 연구를 확장하기 위해 Yano방법에 의해 분석되었다. Yano방법에 의한 자중압밀침하량은 200번체 통과율 40%이하의 조립 준설토에서 분리퇴적 침강 영향을 반영할 수가 없었다. 따라서 조립토의 분리퇴적 밀도 변화율에 의해 자중압밀침하량을 평가하는 합리적인 방법이 제안되었다.

국내 세립토의 압밀개시 간극비에 대한 실험적 연구 (A Experimental Study on Void Ration at Initiating Consolidation for Fine-Grained Soils in Korea)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 해안에 분포하는 세립토의 침강압밀특성을 평가하기 위해 10개의 시료에 대하여 161회의 침강압밀실험을 수행하고, 이를 3개 권역(서해안, 경남, 전남)으로 구분하여 Yano(1985)가 제안한 특성치로 분석 평가하였다. 침강압밀실험은 서해안권역 4개와 경남권역 3개 및 전남권역 각 3개의 시료에 대하여 높이 1m의 컬럼을 이용하여 초기함수비와 초기높이를 변화하면서 실험을 진행하였다. 각 권역별 침강압밀계수와 초기침강속도를 분석하여 대표 상관식을 제시하였다. 각 실험조건별로 자중압밀 개시 간극비를 분석하여 권역별 초기함수비와의 상관관계식을 제안하였으며, 초기 슬러리 간극비와의 관계도 분석하여 세립토의 압밀 개시 간극비 범위를 제시하였다.

  • Design parameters related to Yano's method(1984, 1985), one of experimental approaches having been used widely in Korea to estimate sedimentation and consolidation of dredged and reclaimed ground, were analyzed and their propriety were reassessed in this paper. Data analyses were performed on the basis of the settling test results using samples from the west coastal area of Korea. From analysis of results, for specific characteristics of these dredged and reclaimed marine soft clays, co-relations of initial water content - coefficient of sedimentation/ consolidation - initial setting velocity were evaluated. Relation between height of soil solid and surface height of slurry at the stages of initiation and termination of consolidation was also assessed. Finally ranges and average values of these design parameters were evaluated and typical empirical equations between these design parameters were also proposed.

Educational-Resources Recommending System for Web Based Learning

  • We are focusing on an approach which handle a general Web as a resource in order to support self-directed learning for a student. Then, we are developing a Web based learning environment "Web-Retracer"for utilizing Web as teaching materials by a user′s Annotation. Although the learner can share the Web resource that the others utilized in this environment, Web resources unsuitable for a student′s needs becomes hindrance about her/his self-directed learning. In this paper, we propose a recommending method of the resource united with a student′s needs on the basis of a student′s learning and Web browsing history. This method analyzed the feature peculiar to a resource, and extracts the resource with which the needs of the feature and a student agreed.

  • Since the Salamanca statement in 1994, inclusive education became the worldwide issue in the field of educational policy. Inclusive education is defined that equality and comprehensive education in the classroom to learning together regardless of whether with disability or not (Han et al, 2013). Inclusive education is the educational system and consist of the three domains; guarantee of rights, improvement in environment and reform in curriculum (Han et al, 2015). Diversity education has been positioned as an educational method in inclusive education. Diversity in classroom is very wide ranging; nationality, gender, culture, race, ethnicity, disability, age and religion. Diversity education is the educational method to providing the appropriate education for the children's diversity on the assumption that appreciate to the diversity. In recent years, the main purpose of inclusive education is to encompass children with disabilities. However, developmental disabilities that has no intellectual delay become a new challenge in education in addition to the physical and mental disability. This study aims to definition of the diversity education as the educational method in Japan.

  • In an internal document, CORONA-VIRUS DISEASE 2019 (COVID-19) PLAN, release developed stated that "on January 22, 2020, Palau Ministry of Health activated its emergency operations center, and since then has prepared and put in place measures in response to this global pandemic." The actions eventually led to the closure of most flights coming into Palau as a method to protect its population. The population of is at high risk with COVID19 due to the very elevated rate of NCD's, as well as the limited access to proper testing and treatment facilities. Increased use of traditional medicines in the population has reduced the co-morbidities by reducing risk factors. Furthermore, the expansion of tradtional NCD therapies, especially that of DAK reduce pressure due to obesity and diabetes therefore allowing for unimpaired immune systems to combat deadly infectious diseases such as COVID19.

  • In writing learning as a second/foreign language, a learner has to acquire not only lexical and syntactical knowledge but also the skills to choose suitable words for content which s/he is interested in. A learning system should extrapolate learner\\`s intention and give example phrases that concern with the content in order to support this on the system. However, a learner cannot always represent a content of his/her desired phrase as inputs to the system. Therefore, the system should be equipped with a diagnosis function for learner\\`s intention. Additionally, a system also should be equipped with an analysis function to score similarity between learner\\`s intention and phrases which is stored in the system on both syntactic and idiomatic level in order to present appropriate example phrases to a learner. In this paper, we propose architecture of an interactive support method for English writing learning which is based an analogical search technique of sample phrases from corpora. Our system can show a candidate of variation/next phrases to write and an analogous sentence that a learner wants to represents from corpora.

Optimizing Movement of A Multi-Joint Robot Arm with Existence of Obstacles Using Multi-Purpose Genetic Algorithm

  • To optimize movement of a multi-joint robot arm is known to be a difficult problem, because it is a kind of redundant system. Although the end-effector is set its position by each angle of the joints, the angle of each joint cannot be uniquely determined by the position of the end-effector. There exist the infinite number of different sets of joint angles which represent the same position of the end-effector. This paper describes how to manage the angle of each joint to move its end-effector preferably on an X-Y plane with obstacles in the end-effector’s reachable area, and how to optimize the movement of a multi-joint robot arm, evading obstacles. The definition of “preferable” movement depends upon a purpose of robot operation. First, we divide viewpoints of preference into two, 1) the standpoint of the end-effector, and 2) the standpoint of joints. Then, we define multiple objective functions, and formulate it into a multi-objective programming problem. Finally, we solve it using multi-purpose genetic algorithm, and obtain reasonable results. The method described here is possible to add appropriate objective function if necessary for the purpose.

국내 해성점토의 침강압밀특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Sedimentation-Consolidation Characteristics for Marine Clay in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 해성점토의 준설매립시 침강 및 자중압밀거동 분석을 위한 침강압밀특성의 평가를 목적으로 국내 해성점토에 대한 침강실험을 실시하고, 기존 자료와 함께 고찰하였다. 침강압밀의 거동은 Yano가 제안한 방법이 국내에서 많이 적용되고 있으므로 본 연구는 이에 대한 특성치를 평가하였다. 침강실험은 남해안 해성점토 4개와 서해안 해성점토 4개에 대하여 초기함수비와 초기높이를 변화하는 조건으로 높이 1m의 Column으로 실험을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 남해안 및 서해안 해성점토 각각에 대한 침강-압밀특성을 도출하였다. 초기함수비에 따른 압밀침강계수와 초기침강속도를 분석하고, 이를 기존문헌과 비교하여 보다 높은 상관성을 갖는 회귀식을 산정하였다. 실질토량고와 압밀침강과정 시작 및 종료시 계면고의 관계를 평가하였다. 이와 같은 분석으로 남해안 및 서해안 해성점토 각각에 대하여 침강압밀특성치의 범위와 평균 등을 제안하였으며, 대표적인 관계식을 산정하였다. 또한, 남해안 및 서해안의 해성점토가 갖는 침강-압밀특성을 비교 분석하였다.

인천 송도지역 준설토의 침강 및 압밀특성에 대한 실험 및 해석적 연구 (Experimental and Numerical Studies for Sedimentation and Consolidation Characteristics of Dredged Soil in Songdo Area, Incheon)

  • 연약지반의 특성에 부합하는 이론을 이용하여 침하량을 합리적으로 예측하는 것은 건설방재적 관점에서도 대단히 중요하다. 특히, 준설매립지반과 같은 초연약지반의 압밀거동 모사를 위해서는 비선형 유한변형 압밀이론을 적용할 필요성이 있다. 본 연구에서는 인천 송도지역 준설토의 침강 및 압밀특성을 파악하기 위하여 침강압밀시험, 자중압밀시험 및 CRS 압밀시험을 수행하였으며, 그 결과를 PSDDF를 이용한 수치해석의 입력치로 사용하여 준설매립지반의 거동을 해석하였다. 본 지역의 준설토는 통일 분류법에 의해 저압축성 실트(ML)로 분류되었으며, Yano법 및 수치해석을 통하여 얻어진 최종 체적변화비는 각각 1.56, 1.17로 나타났다. 이러한 결과의 차이는 계면고가 상대적으로 높고 투수성이 큰 해당 구간 준설매립토의 토질 특성에 기인한 것으로 사료된다.
