According to the cooperation between organizations increases, e-Commerce and virtual organizaions spread, because of IT development, the number of business processes increased from bounds of an organization to crossing organizational boundaries. In order to support dynamic setup of business processes among independent organizations, a formal standard schema of describing the business processes is basically required because of business process models over multiple organizations, which are defined in different fromat by business process modeling systems their own business process modeling systems. The vision of ebXML is to create a single global electronic marketplace where enterprises, without any concerns about size and geographical location, can meet and conduct their businesses with each other through the exchanges of XML-based messages. Therefore, this thesis also analyzes and implements an ebXML based choreography modeling system for supporting collaborations between organizations.

본 논문에서는 UML을 이용하여 W3C XML Schema를 설계하기 위한 XML 모델링 방법으로 UML을 이용한 3단계 XML 모델링 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에서 개념적 단계는 UML 클래스 표기법 사용으로 표현하고 논리적 단계는 UML 스테레오타입의 set를 사용하여 표현하며 물리적 단계는 XML schema를 표현한다. 아울러 교환되는 XML 데이터를 효율적으로 저장하기 위하여 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마 설계를 위한 통합 설계 방법론 제안한다.

The first edition of ebXML which aims at unimarket was announced at May 1 of 2001. OASIS continues working on the framework of ebXML, and UN/CEFACT does on the contents. In our country, 30 vertical B2B markets are being constructed and most of them adopted ebXML as their main standard. In this situation, we need to make a guideline which can interconnect individual vertical B2B systems. In our study, we propose an architecture for i) Central Registry/Repository for the interconnection of between vertical B2Bs, between ebXML and non-ebXML, and between nations. ii) Information modeling for interconnection. iii) Distributed modeling. We hope our work could be extended by following discussion of academical and industrial researchers.

The macro-parametric approach, which is a method of CAD model exchange, has recently been proposed. CAD models can be exchanged in the form of a macro file, which is a sequence of modeling commands. As an event-driven commands set, the standard macro file can transfer design intents such as parameters, features and constraints. Moreover it is suitable for the network environment because the standard macro commands are open, explicit, and the data size is small. This paper introduces the concept of the macro-parametric method and proposes its representation using XML technology. Representing the macro-parametric data using XML allows managing vast amount of dynamic contents, Web-enabled distributed applications, and inherent characteristic of structure and validation.

국제 전자거래 표준 언어인 ebXML은 비즈니스 프로세스의 모델링과 구현이 독립되어 있다. 특히 ebXML의 비즈니스 프로세스 구현 언어는 UML (Unified Modeling Language)기반의 BPSS (Business Process Specification Schema)에서 BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation)기반의 ebBP (ebXML Business Process Specification Schema)로 변경되었다. ebXML은 단일화된 e-비즈니스 시장의 형성을 목표로 하고 있다. 따라서 ebBP가 비즈니스 프로세스 모델링으로 표현되는 다양한 업무 흐름을 지원 할 수 있는지 ebBP의 코레오그라피(Choreography) 표현 능력을 평가하는 것은 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 ebBP의 표현력을 워크플로우 패턴 입장에서 기존의 BPSS와 비교한다. 이 분석을 토대로 비즈니스 프로세스 모델에서 ebBP로 변환하는 방법을 제시한다.

XML is a global standard for the Internet and e-business, and its use is growing in proportion to the spreading speed of e-Commerce. Thus, a policy for providing more safe security service for exchanging e-documents within e-Commerce is necessary. XKMS, one of XML security specification, defines the protocol for distributing and registering public keys for verifying electronic signatures and enciphering e-documents of e-Commerce applications with various and complicate functions. In this paper, we propose X-KISS service reference model and implement service component based on standard specification. Also describes the analysis and security of XML key information service for safe e-Commerce, paying attention to the features of XML based security service. This reference model supported include public key location by given identifier information, the binding of such keys to identifier information. The client service component controls the number of locate threads and validate threads to analyze the minimum requirements of real-time key retrievals. This service modeling offers the security construction guideline for future domestic e-business frameworks.

XML을 이용한 애플리케이션이 핫 이슈로 부각되고 있는 현재, 다양한 분야에서 XML 문서로의 변환을 모색하고 있다 많은 시스템 설계자들이 애플리케이션이나 시스템을 분석하는데 있어서 UML은 보편적으로 사용되는 모델링 언어일 것이다 또한 최근에는 모델링 언어인 UML을 XML DTD로 변환시키는 다양한 방법론들이 제시되고 있으나, 이러한 방법론들은 UML을 XML DTD로 변환시킬 경우 어느 정도의 정보의 누락과 변질이 발생하게 된다. 이렇게 누락되는 정보를 제대로 XML 문서로의 변환을 위하여, 본 논문에서는 두 가지의 모델링 기법을 사용하여 UML을 XML DTD로의 변환을 제안하였다. 변환 방법으로는 첫째, UML 모델의 각 부분을 XML로 변환하는 기법을 정리한 XML 변환 기법들이며, 둘째로는 UML로부터 XML DTD를 생성시키는 방법이다. 위의 방법을 이용하여 UML을 XML DTD로의 변환을 하고자 하였다. 변환시 UML 다이어그램의 다양한 정보를 DTD에 포함 시켜야 하므로, UML에 나타나 있는 여러가지 경우가 포함되어 있는 다이어그램을 선택하였다. 이렇게 두 가지의 기법을 사용하면 UML을 XML DTD로 변환하는데 정보의 손실을 최소한으로 줄일 수 있다.

As the application area of XML extends to the database from simple contents, the technology for the storage and management of XML also grows with the XML. One of the main issues is how to efficiently manage the XML by using the previous DBMS. Many studies have been performed for the efficient management based on the XML application and database interface. However, the XML data is based on the object and has the hierarchical structure. Accorkingly, a modeling plan needs to store the XML data on the variety type of database. In this paper, for easier connection between XML application and database system, we have designed components for the transformation from XML DTD to ORDB schema. The method of the design for the transformation from XML DTD to ORDB schema is chosen the method of CBD.

This article surveys recent research in the area of language modeling (sometimes called statistical language modeling) approaches to information retrieval. Language modeling is a formal probabilistic retrieval framework with roots in speech recognition and natural language processing. The underlying assumption of language modeling is that human language generation is a random process; the goal is to model that process via a generative statistical model. In this article, we discuss current research in the application of language modeling to information retrieval, the role of semantics in the language modeling framework, cluster-based language models, use of language modeling for XML retrieval and future trends.

본 논문에서는 UML을 이용하여 W3C XML Schema를 설계하기 위한 XML 모델링 방안을 제시하고, 아울러 교환되는 XML 데이터를 효율적으로 저장하기 위하여 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마 설계를 위한 통합 설계 방법론 제안한다. 또한 통합 설계 방법론의 객관적인 검증을 위하여, 기존의 Ronald Bourret의 방법을 사용하여 XML schema를 객체 모델로 변환하고 아울러 변환된 객체 모텔을 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마로 변환된 결과와 본 논문에서 제시한 UML를 이용한 데이터 모델링에 따른 관계형 데이터베이스 스키마와의 상호 일치함을 보임으로써 본 논문에서 제안한 통합 설계 방법론의 객관성을 검증하였다.
