XML인 많은 기업 애플리케이션에서의 데이터 라우팅 표준으로 사용됨에 따라 XML 데이터를 통합적으로 관리하는 체계적 방법론이 요구되고 있다. 본 연구에서 제안한 방법론은 객체지향 개념을 기본으로 하여 객체와 관계를 분리하는 데이터 모델을 정의하고 이 데이터 모델을 통하여 XML 문서들의 서로 다른 스키마들을 변환, 통합하는 체계적 접근법이다. 본 연구를 통해 독자적 데이터 구조를 지닌 XML 문서들에 일관된 통합 환경을 제공함으로써 기업 애플리케이션 통합, 데이터 웨어하우스, 기업간 전자상거래 분야에의 활용을 기대할 수 있다.

웹의 표준은 XML을 기반으로 개발, 발전되고 있는 추세이며, 이러한 XML 기술은 전자상거래, 문서 변환, ERP 등의 응용 분양에 활발하게 적용되고 있다. 이와 더불어 XML 문서화에 따른 데이터 처리 기법도 중요하게 되었다. 데이터 처리 기법에 에이젼트 기술을 이용함으로써 불필요한 HTML 문서 내용을 처리하는 기존의 방법보다 구조화된 데이터를 검색하여 결과의 정확성과 신속성을 가질 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 논리적인 XML 문서를 기반으로 한 쇼핑몰을 구축하고 그에 대한 데이터를 수집, 처리하는 에이전트를 설계, 구현하였다.

The electronic documents have the documental aspect that can legible by human and the electronic aspect that can be interpreted and processed automatically by machinery. This usability of electronic documents must be the reason that people use them in almost all the business areas rapidly in these days. That is because we have to utilize the characteristics to interchange electronic documents(EDI) effectively and efficiently. The electronic document interchange of Korean government cannot make the best of this benefit due to the traditional way of thinking based on paper document and the viewpoint of individual business, organization. and project. This paper proposed a direction of ED! for Korean government. At first. the concept of electronic docuemnts is defined. The reason and limitations of structuring the documents with XML and the hidden problems of present ED! in Korean public sector are also explained. And the way to preserve information, to design the structure of electronic document. and to maintain relevant standards is proposed.

오늘날 정보의 중요성의 증가와 신속한 정보검색의 필요성에 따라 정보관리의 현대화가 요구되고 있다. 이에따라 색인생산의 전산화를 기하기 위한 시스템을 활용하지 않은 전자문서의 표준화로 기술된 XML의 요소를 정보검색을 할 수 있도록 설계를 통해 일반 웹 문서가 전자문서로 서로 교환될 수 있다 그리고 색인기능을 지원하여 정보를 검색하고 기존의 텍스트와 여러 다양한 형태의 정보를 구조적으로 표현할 수 있어 웹을 통한 학습자에게 웹 문서를 쉽게 습득할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 구조화된 문서의 표준인 XML의 요소를 이용한 교과색인 시스템을 웹에서 이루어지는 형태의 학습자료로 보다 쉽게 만들고 문서의 교환과 내용에 대한 색인이 원활히 이루어져 교사와 파생간의 상호작용하는 교과색인 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다.

XML has an essential funtion of dealing with standardized document to be used in all academic areas and industrial areas as well as e-commerce. The transformation of XML data into Relation Database table is also necessary for data search using SQL language. Mapping relation between XMLand Table in Relation Database is required for transformation of XML. S1000D 명세 표준은 항공, 국방 등의 분야에서 기술 발간물을 기술하는 표준 형식으로 개발되었으며, 조선 분야에서도 이를 기반으로 Shipdex 프로토콜을 개발하였다. S1000D는 SGML, XML 문서 포맷을 사용하며 장비 및 정보를 체계적으로 분류하고 있다. S1000D에서 사용되는 문서 포맷인 XML이 여러가지 장점이 있으나, XML 구조나 XML 태그의 의미를 습득하고 있지 않으면 쉽게 파악 및 작성하기 어려운 단점이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 S1000D와 같은 XML 문서를 시각적 SW 모델링 언어인 UML을 이용하여 기술하는 방법을 제안하고자 한다.

XML (extensible Markup Language) is selected and published as a representative standard of electronic documents by W3C (World Wide Web Consortium). The structured information can be created and also transferred in XML documents. By utilizing XML, you can express the meaningful information unit as a structure comparing existed file typed information. With structured information, you can also manage retrieve, and reposit documents. According to the above facts, in this paper, it is the purpose to design and implement XML documents repository system to reposit and retrieve using structured information of XML documents. As a model it was designed to be stored by element unit which is the basic unit of documents and was also designed to retrieve the stored XML information by structured unit. It was, especially, designed to manage and reposit the structure of various documents effectively through creating schema as to DTD(Document Type Definition) and instance.

The value of XML as electronic documents is increasing nowadays. The XML document has properties of semistructured data. It can be modeled as object-oriented model which can be easily adapted by object-oriented database. For storing XML documents to conventional database system, extracting schema information from the DTD of a XML document has been studied for several years. In this paper we store XML documents into object-oriented database, which preserve the semantics of the documents. We can store and query by OQL and make applications by C++ and make applications by C++ binding which is the access method of object-oriented database. Therefore, existing database applications can be used without modification.

본 논문에서는 일반책에서의 정적 컨텐츠 요소와 오디오나 동영상 등의 멀티미디어 요소를 디지털 형태의 정보로 가공 및 저장하여 전자북을 편집할 수 있는 전자 출판 시스템을 설계한다. 기존의 전자북들은 멀티미디어 요소들을 보기 위한 별도의 전용 뷰어 설치가 요구되며, 서로 다른 포맷이나 다양한 프로그램들로 제작되어 문서의 통합 저장 및 관리가 어려운 실정이다. 본 논문에서 설계한 시스템은 별도의 전용 뷰어 대신 익스플로어와 같은 일반적인 뭔 브라우저를 이용하는 웹 뷰어를 지원하고, XML을 사용하여 보다 효율적으로 정보의 통합 관리 및 저장을 지원함으로써 다양한 컨텐츠 정보의 고수준의 재사용성을 제공한다. 또한, 웹상에서의 멀티미디어 요소들의 표현 시 요구되는 동기화 처리 기술을 위하여 SMIL을 이용함으로써 보다 다양한 멀티미디어 컨텐츠 및 멀티미디어 요소들의 시간적, 이벤트 발생적 동기화를 지원하여 정보 전달의 이해도를 놀일 수 있도록 한다. 설계 시스템은 웹 상에서 전자북을 보기위한 웹 뷰어, 전자북 출판 시 텍스트와 멀티미디어 요소를 표현하는 XML과 SMIL문서를 각각 자동적으로 생성하는 XMLnSMIL 에디터, 생성된 각 문서들을 데이터베이스에 저장하기 위한 XMLnSMIL2DB 저장기, 데이터베이스 내의 데이터들로 부터 XML과 SMIL문서를 자동으로 생성하는 DB2XMLnSMIL 생성기 등으로 구성된다.
