Netherlands had suggested a uniform system to standardize and simplify EDI systems relating to the Arrival/Departure, stay, and clearance of ships, persons, and cargoes for the Facilitation of International Maritime Transport to the International Maritime Organization(IMO). Republic of Korea proposed the Framework of XML-based Single Window System for the simplified clearance of ships to the 32nd session of Facilitation Committee of the IMO. Accordingly the authors studied that the XML Infrastructure for Single Window efficiently supports the Single Window service and the business collaboration between business entities of logistics. The proposed XML Infrastructure designs to support the various document format translation and to easily manage. Therefore business entity using the proposed system has the effect of downing the resource and costs on using Single Window.

ebXML is a global electronic business standard that is sponsored by UN/CEFACT and OASIS. ebXML is an open XML-based infrastructure enabling the global use of electronic business information in an interoperable, secure and consistent manner by all parties. ebXML Registry provides a stable store where the business information submitted by partners is made persistent and a set of registry services that enable clients of the Registry to access them. These services are tied to the structures defined in ebXML Registry Information Model(ebRIM), so we need a way to process them according to underlying database systems. In this paper, we present the result of developing the ebXML Registry Server based on Relational Database Systems.

최근 주목할만한 인터넷 보안기술 중 공개키 암호화 시스템을 이용해 향상된 보안수준을 제공하기 위한 기반 기술인 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)는 각종 전자상거래 제반기술로 작용한다는 점에서 중요성이 부각되고 있다. 이와 더불어 최근 차세대 웹 표준문서 포맷으로 부상되고 있는 XML(extensible Markup Language)은 B2B 문서교환과 데이터 전송 및 검색 부문에서 광범위하게 활용됨으로써, XML문서에 대한 보안 및 XML을 활용한 PKI 기술적용을 위한 표준화 작업 또한 활발히 연구되고 있다. 그 결과 Microsoft, Verisign 그리고 Webmethods가 주축이 되어 XML기반 파세대 PKI기술인 XKMS(Xml Key Management Specification)를 개발하였으며, XKMS 표준화 작업에 그 외 다수의 주력업체들이 참여하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 XKMS의 표준화를 진행중인 표준화 단체의 동향을 파악하고, PKI의 전반적인 기술 및 XKMS 기술의 내부적인 구조를 분석한다.

XML 기반의 Single Window은 국제 표준에 입각하여 해운 분야의 전자문서를 사용하여 국제해사기구와 전세계적으로 공통된 양식을 사용한다. 이는 동일한 양식의 전자문서를 사용하는 사용자들 간은 통용될 수 있다는 의미이며, 민원인 입장에서는 정보의 재사용성과 중복 입력의 불합리함을 줄일 수 있다. 이로써 민원인들은 입출항 수속 간소화 뿐만 아니라 해운 업무 자체에 많은 업무 개선 효과를 볼 수 있다. 본 고에서 제안한 XML 인프라스트럭처(XML infrastructure for Single Window)는 ebXML 기반의 Single Window에 적합하도록 설계 및 구현되었으며, 자원의 재사용성과 중복 투자를 방지할 수 있도록 하였다. 즉, 사용 환경에 유동적으로 적용가능 하도록 컴포넌트 방식으로 구성되었으며, 기존 시스템을 최대한 활용하도록 구성할 수 있도록 하였다.

본 고에서는 XML의 특성과, 현재의 XML 응용 개발 및 도입 상황, 표준화 동향에 대해서 살표보도록 한다. 마지막으로 W3C, OASIS를 비롯한 여러 XML 관련 단체들의 연구 및 표준화 진행 방향을 예시함으로써 향후 미래에 XML이 컴퓨터 전 분야에서 어떠한 영향을 미칠지에 대하여 알아보도록 한다.

본고에서는 XML문서의 성격을 나누고 이에 따라 XML문서를 저장하기 위한 데이터 모델과 내용 저장 모델을 살펴보고, 최근 W3C에서 XML에 대한 질의어로 활발히 개발되고 있는 XQuery에 대해 살펴본다. 또한 현재까지 개발되어 있는 많은 XML 데이터베이스 제품들을 분류하고 특성을 살펴 본다.

ebXML의 근간을 이루는 XML은 현재 웹에서 사용하고 있는 HTML의 한계를 극복하고, 시스템 및 소프트웨어 독립적인 문서 및 메시지의 표현이 가능하도록 World-Wide Web Consortium(W3C)에서 1998년 2월에 제정한 표준이며, 특히 XML은 서로 상이한 시스템을 연동하는데 매우 유용하기 때문에 Mircosoft의 Bizta lk Framework이나 CommerceNet의 eCo Framework XML/EDI등 B2B 전자상거래 표준에 사용되고 있다.

The local public organizations, to secure the Confidentiality, Integrity, Authentication and Non-Repudiation of cyber administrative environment is giving it a try to consolidate the official documents among them by standardizing all the documents into XML formats together with the establishment of the GPKI(Government Public Key Infrastructure). The Authentication System based on the PKI(Public Key Infrastructure) used by the GPKI, however, provides only the simple User Authentication and thus it results in the difficulty in managing the position, task, role information of various users required under the applied task environment of public organizations. It also has a limitation of not supporting the detailed access control with respect to the XML-based public documents.In order to solve these issues, this study has analyzed the security problems of Authentication and access control system used by the public organizations and has drawn the means of troubleshoot based on the analysis results through the scenario and most importantly it suggests the access control model applied with PMI and SAML and XACML to solve the located problem.
