한국인 소년기남여의 Shell Turcica의 두부 X-선학적인 연구

  • 저자는 한국인 소년기 남녀 94명의 X-선 규격사진상에서 sella turcica에 대하여 관찰계측한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. (1) sella turcica의 형태는 I, III, II, IV형의 순으로 나타났고, 특히 II형은 남이 1명, 여가 3명이었고 IV형은 94 예중 단지 여자 1명에서만 관찰할수 있었다. (2) ∠∂는 sella의 형태 및 두개골의 전후 성장방향 연구를 하는데 하나의 기준점이 될수있다고 사료되었다. (3) ∠BY'는 하악(symphysis)의 성장방향을 알 수 있고, ∠BH는 두개의 전후 성장방향을 측정할수 있었으므로 가치있다고 생각되었다

  • Based on X-ray (1-8 ${\AA}$) flux data for 1972-1995 the integral spectra of solar flare energy were computed. It has been shown that the spectral index $\beta$ of the integral energy spectrum (IES) vanes systematically with the 11-year cycle phase. The interval of $\beta$-variations (0.47 <$\beta$<1) is characteristic of UV-Cet stars. The maximum energy of the X-ray flares does not exceed $10^{32}$ erg.

  • Recent X-ray observations of the accretion disks in stellar black hole candidates have revealed rather complex behavior, which cannot be fully described by the simple picture of the standard disk model. In this paper, therefore, we discuss the effects of e+e- pair creation on the structure and the stability of hot accretion disks, aiming at the thorough understanding of emission properties of X-ray binaries containing black holes.

  • Calcified right ventricular thrombi are very rare.One case of large clacified thrombus in right ventricle being seen in a 65-year old man, is presented. He had dyspnea and generalized edema.The chest film showed a large calcified mass in cardiac shadow especially in lateral view.On echocardiography and chest computed tomography, large calcified mass density occupied nearly entire right ventricular outflow tract.The mass removal was performed through right ventriculotomny.The mass was whitish, stony hard, measured 4 cm x 4.5 cm x 8 cm, tightly attached to right ventricular infundibular septum and ventriculoinfundibular fold.

  • This paper proved experimentally that the disc array microstrip antenna designed and manufactured at X-band is capable to use for wide band antenna. This antenna arrayed the discs to have different resonant frequencies log-periodically on printed circuit board. The experimental result of this antenna showed the flat gain and good impedence matching characteristics. The VSWR of this antenna is 2.2 below through the system band.

  • The acid strngth of cations, determined with ICP (Ionic Covalent Parameter): ICP=log(P)-1.38x+2.07 where P is the polarizing power and X its electronegativity expresses the competition between the covalent and ionic forces. This concept, together with electronegativity, is used to describe the properties of oxides with various electronic properties (insulators, metals, degenerate semiconductors, superconductors).

A New Porous Carbon via an Exfoliation of n-Octylammonium Tetrachloroferrate(III)-Graphite Intercalation Complex

  • A new graphite intercalation compound (GIC), n-octylammonium tetrachlorofeffate(Ⅲ)-graphite, has been derived from well-known ferric chloride graphite intercalation compound. X-ray diffration study shows that the basal spacing of this new GIC is 20.8 Å. In order to investigate the local geometry around the iron atom in the graphite layers, X-ray absorption spectroscopy experiments were performed. The first discharge capacity of its exfoliated form is found to be 862 mAh/g, which is more than double the value of pristine graphite (384 mAh/g). Such a drastic increase implies that the exfoliated graphite is a promising electrode material.

  • Microstructure and magnetic properties of $Fe-Nd_{13.5}-Co_{15}-B_{6-8}Ga_{0-1}-Zr_{0.2-1}$ alloys during HDDR process were studied. $ZrB_{2}$ phase was detected and identified by X-Ray diffraction. Influence of Ga, Zr and Ga+Zr additions on phase relations at different stages of HDDR process was studied by X-ray diffraction and magnetic measurements.
