Enhanced-xVSB System Development for Next Generation Terrestrial DTV RF Transmission (차세대 지상파 DTV 전송시스템 개발)

  • In this paper, we describe a new 1/4 rate robust modulation techniques for Enhanced-x VSB system which is fully backward compatible with ATSC 8-VSB standard. 1/4 rate mode Enhanced-xVSB system provides broadcasters with a wide choice of trade-offs of data rate vs amount of robustness of enhanced data for pedestrian/mobile services. Lab test results of proposed Enhanced-xVSB 1/4 rate mode robust stream are a significantly improved multipath as well as AWGN reception performance for Enhanced-xVSB receiver. We suggest an Enhanced-xVSB terrestrial broadcasting system for ATSC HDTV and pedestrian/portable TV simultaneous broadcasting service providing.

XPS, EXAFS, XRD Analysis of $(GeTe)_x(Sb_2Te_3)$ Thin Films for PRAM (PRAM을 위한 $(GeTe)_x(Sb_2Te_3)$ 박막의 XPS, EXAFS, XRD 분석)

  • PRAM (phase-change random access memory)은 전류 펄스 인가에 따른 기록매질의 비정질-결정질 간 상변화와 그에 동반되는 저항변화를 이용하는 차세대 비휘발성 메모리 소자로서 연구되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 $(GeTe)_x(Sb_2Te_3)$ pseudobinary line을 따르는 조성(x=0.5, 1, 2, 8)의 벌크 및 박막시료를 제작하고 원자-스케일의 구조적 상변화를 분석하였다. 열증착을 이용하여 Si 기판위에 200nm 두께의 박막을 형성, 질소분위기 하에서 100-450도 범위에서 열처리 하였다. XRD를 통해 열처리 온도에 따른 구조적 분석을 실시하였다. x=8의 조성을 제외한 전체 박막에 대해 열처리 온도 증가에 따라 fcc와 hexagonal 구조가 순차적으로 나타났으며 일부에서는 혼종의 상구조를 보였다. 특히, $Ge_2Sb_2Te_5$ 박막에 대하여 EXAFS (extended x-ray absorption fine structure) 및 XPS를 이용하여 상변화의 원자-스케일 구조분석을 하였다.

대면적 플라즈마 공정에서 자장이 내장형 선형 유도결합형 플라즈마 특성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

  • 최근 높은 해상도의 평판 디스플레이 장치 특히 차세대 TFT-LCD를 개발하기 위해서는 건식식각공정의 개발이 필수 불가결하며 이는 플라즈마 공정장치의 대면적화가 가능해야 한다. 따라서 산업계는 이러한 제조 조건에 알맞는 대면적 플라즈마 반응기 개발을 추구하고 있다. 이를 위해서는 건식식각공정의 개발이 필수 불가결하며 이를 위해선 플라즈마 공정장 치의 대면적화가 가능해야 한다. 이러한 대면적 공정을 위해서는 낮은 공정압력, 고밀도, 높은 플라즈마 균일도가 요구된다. 또한 이러한 대면적 고밀도 플라즈마에의 적용을 위하여 새로운 유도결합형 플라즈마 소오스의 개발이 진행되고 있으며, 안정적인 300mm웨이퍼 공정을 위하여 여러 형태의 안테나가 연구되어지고 있다. 그러나 차세대 TFT-LCD에 적용 가 능하게끔 기존의 ICP 소오스를 직접적으로 대면적화 하는데 있어서는 안테나의 인덕턴스의 값이 키지며, 유전물질의 두께 증가 및 그에 따른 재료비의 상슴에 의해 그 한계점을 나타 내었다. 본 연구에서는 차세대 TFT-LCD 및 POP 대면적 공정에 적용 가능한 고밀도 플라즈마를 발생시키기 위해서 내장형 유도결합형 선형 안테나를 사용하였다. 내장형 유도결합형 선형 안테나가 가지고 있는 고유의 정전기적 결합효과를 최소화시키기 위해 직사각형모양의 플라즈마 챔버(830mm*1,020mm)에서 영구자석을 사용하였다. 영구자석을 사용하여 외부자 장을 인가하였을 때가, 그럴지 않은 때보다 RF 안테나에 걸리는 코일의 전압을 낮춰주었으며, 영구자석의 배열에 따라 코일의 인덕턴스의 값이 크게 변함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고, 최적화된 자장의 배열은 플라즈마의 이온밀도를 증가시켰으며, 플라즈마 균일도 또한 10% 이 내로 유지됨을 알 수 있었다. 따른 식각 메커니즘에 대하여 알아보고자 하였다. $CF_4/Cl_2$ gas chemistry 에 첨 가 가스로 $N_2$와 Ar을 첨 가할 경 우 텅 스텐 박막과 하부 layer 간의 etch selectivity 증가는 관찰되지 않았으며, 반면에 첨가 가스로 $O_2$를 사용할 경우, $O_2$의 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 etch s selectivity 는 계속적으로 증가렴을 관찰할 수 있었다. 이는 $O_2$ 첨가에 따라 형성되는 WOF4 에 의한 텅스텐의 etch rates 의 감소에 비하여, $Si0_2$ 등의 형성에 의한 poly-Si etch rates 이 더욱 크게 감소하였기 때문으로 사료된다. W 과 poly-Si 의 식각 특성을 이해하기 위하여 X -ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS)를 사용하였으며, 식각 전후의 etch depth 를 측정하기 위하여 stylus p pmfilometeT 를 이용하였다.X> 피막이 열처리 전후에 보아는 기계적 특성의 변화 양상은 열역학적으로 안정한 Wurzite-AlN의 석출에 따른 것으로 AlN 석출상의 크기에 의존하며, 또한 이러한 영향은 $(Ti_{1-x}AI_{x})N$ 피막에 존재하는 AI의 함량이 높고, 초기에 증착된 막의 업자 크기가 작을 수록 클 것으로 여겨진다. 그리고 환경의 의미의 차이에 따라 경관의 미학적 평가가 달라진 것으로 나타났다.corner$적 의도에 의한 경관구성의 일면을 확인할수 있지만 엄밀히 생각하여 보면 이러한 예의 경우도 최락의 총체적인 외형은 마찬가지로

  • Dormant rice seeds were treated with different levels of ethyl methanesulfonate(EMS) and sown directely on the well managed seed beds and the ontogenetically different tillers of $_{x}\textrm{M}_1 plants were marked as they are developed. The biological effects of $_{x}\textrm{M}_1 plant and mutation frequency of $_{x}\textrm{M}_2 were investigated. utation frequency evaluated with tiller groups and $_{x}\textrm{M}_1 sterility, differs from the results reported with radiation treatment. Hence, selection of $_{x}\textrm{M}_1 panicle of primary or secondary tillers could be recommended for increase mutation frequency in $_{x}\textrm{M}_2 generation.

  • Advanced Intelligent Network(AIN) and X.500 directory service have similarity in between. X.500 capabilities and the requirements for the Service Control Function(SCF) to Service Data Function(SDF) in AIN. As an interface, SCF can be mapping as a Directory User Agent(DUA) and SDF can be mapping as a Directory System Agent(DSA). Based on the concepts, X.500 directory can be applied to AIN. In this paper we suggest to apply the X.500 DSP to the SDF/SDF interface to perform a distribution function. Also we show that the SCF-SDF/SDF-SDF relationship can be possible under applying X.500 DAP/DSP within the set of Capability Set 1 (CS1),CS2 and CS3. Finally, based on the above contents, we introduce the designed schematic of AIN SDF Server System for a distributed processing in AIN and design the X.500 schema of Universal Personal Telecommunication(UPT) service for supporting AIN SDF Server.

  • It has gone that the age of making the products focusing on only the capacity or efficiency, We face the age that only the products which fit the sensitivity of customers. Now, customers attach importance to impressive design, convenience, and satisfaction as well as the quality, cost, and capacity of the products. Under the much plentiful life, it has a limit of exciting customer's interest to pursue the quality, cost and capacity, so we need new design development which can produce more different, better, and newer mood. Recently, past synchronism and standardization have collapsed according to the change of sense of value, customers make much account of their own sensitivity comparing with at any time in much information and visual stimulus, and they would like to purchase the products which satisfy their sensitivity as a way of their image creation and settlement of wants.

  • This paper is a study of testing on-board signalling equipment in advanced high speed rail at the maximum speed of 400km/h. The on-board signalling equipment in advanced high speed rail provides operating information to the driver when operating at ATC, ATS, and ATP sections, and maintains safety from driver oversight, signalling equipment malfunction, natural disasters and so on. Since the testing train performance of advanced high speed rail at 400km/h must include the function test of on-board signalling equipment, this thesis focuses on the function test of on-board signalling equipment and analyze the necessity of the test at the maximum speed. Finally, it is suggested to change some infrastructure and to use specific test methods to test the train performance at the maximum speed in high speed line ATC section.

  • We investigated the surface morphology changes of a lithium/sulfur battery using multi-walled canbon nanotube added sulfur electrode during charge-discharge cycling. The Li/S cell showed the first discharge capacity of 1286 mAh/g-S, which utilized is 71% of the theoretical value. It decreased to 328 mAh/g-S at the 100th cycle, which corresponds to about 19% utilization of the total sulfur in the cathode. The spherical lumps of the reaction product were observed on the surface of the sulfur electrode. This material was verified as lithium sulfide by X-ray diffraction measurement. The pores in the separator were filled with reaction product. Thus the diffusion of the $Li^+$ ion decreased, which resulted in the decreased capacity of the Li/S cell.

  • The introduction of high speed railway(KTX) in Korea after the Korean high speed train through the KTX-II of the development is being run is made. Thus the demand for the railway technology advances and high performance, Korean government promoted the development of the next-generation high speed train system(HEMU-400X). In addition to the production of train system essential element of the train through an on-line test is to evaluate the performance. Through the on-line test of the train in order to evaluate the performance test items should be selected first and need to the test procedures are required. In addition, an Overall Measuring System(OMS) to measure the performance of the train system should be established. In this study for the on-line test of the HEMU-400X test items was selected for detailed measurements and performance evaluation of a comprehensive and efficient trains to test an OMS for the development are discussed.

  • Recently, a railway vehicle of the maximum speed of 350km/h or more high speed has been developed in the developed country. The next-generation railway vehicle(HEMU-400X) is being developed for aim to run over 430km/h in Republic of Korea, too. The safety of the railway vehicle should be conformed before manufacturing the railway vehicle. In this study, the next generation high-speed railway vehicle was modeled as a single-car system using commercial dynamic program ADAMS/Rail. Safety analysis was implemented through the international standard of the UIC 518 OR code. Also, appropriateness of the railway vehicle design variable were conformed by safety analysis results.
