The P'aerim and the Taedong Yasung are the two better known among unofficial history collections of the Yi Dynasty still available. The compilers and writers of unofficial historical records generally were people without official connection with the incidents recorded, and were thus in a position to be critical in their evaluation. Therefore, in order to gain a balanced view of Korean history, these unofficial history sources must also be consulted. However, there are differences in the contents of various unofficial history collections, even though the titles may be identical. For this reason, the writer has made a comparative study on the. contents of both the P'aerim and the Taedong Yasung. As a result, various differences between the two collections are noted. This points out the need for continued research on collections of unofficial historical records.

Pre-existing pattern recognition techniques, in the case of character recognition, have limited on the application field. But CAI character learning system and writer's recognition system are very important parts. The application field of pre-existing system can be expanded in the content that the learning of characters and the recognition of writers in the proposed paper. In order to achieve these goals, the development contents are the following: Firstly, pre-processing method by understanding the image structure is proposed, secondly, recognition of characters are accomplished b the histogram distribution characteristics. Finally, similarity measure functions are defined from standard character pattern for matching of the input character pattern. Also the effectiveness of this system is demonstrated by experimenting the standard primitive image.

In this paper, a scheme for recognition of handwritten digits using a multilayer neural network trained with the back-propagation algorithm using generalized delta rule is proposed. The neural network is trained with hand written digit data of different writers and different styles. One of the purpose of the work with neural networks is the minimization of the mean square error(MSE) between actual output and desired one. The back-propagation algorithm is an efficient and very classical method. The back-propagation algorithm for training the weights in a multilayer net uses the steepest descent minimization procedure and the sigmoid threshold function. As an error rate is reduced, recognition rate is improved. Therefore we propose a method that is reduced an error rate.

The purpose of this study is to explore and categorize the rhetorical strategies of text construction in research articles and to provide data for academic writing education for foreign graduate students. This study analyzes 30 research articles by Korean writers from Korean language and Korean language education fields, and categorizes the rhetorical strategies according to the roles of the writer as a RA form composer, a manager of research content, and a communicator. On the basis of the strategies, this study analyzes 18 term papers of foreign graduate students and inspects their weaknesses in using the rhetorical strategies. Based on the results of analysis, this study suggests rhetorical strategy education for KAP learners that emphasizes validity and clarifies argument along with attracting readers.

In the over-the-counter market, option's buyers could have a problem for default risk caused by option's writers. In addition, many participants try to maximize their benefits obviously in investing the financial derivatives. Taking all these circumstances into consideration, we deal with the vulnerable power options under a constant elasticity variance (CEV) model. We derive an analytic pricing formula for the vulnerable power option by using the asymptotic analysis, and then we verify that the analytic formula can be obtained accurately by comparing our solution with Monte-Carlo price. Finally, we examine the effect of CEV on the option price based on the derived solution.

This paper is the study of literary modernism school(新感覺派 xinganjuepai), appeared in the early 20th century in China and Japan. This literary modernism, developed in Japan in the 1920s, was developed in China after 10 years in the 1930s. Chinese literary modernism was influenced by the Japanese school. However, the following occurs the difference in modernism caused by background of the two countries. Japanese school of literary modernism was formed by a backlash against the proletarian literature. The rivalry between Japanese proletarian literature and literary modernism occurred in 1920's. Literary modernism in China occurred in the course of the development of the proletarian literature, as part. In addition, China's literary writers of modernism have expressed their support proletarian literature for the position. This difference between the two countries can be caused by the difference of historical background (imperial and colonial) in early 20th century.

Orchid Dream Wonderful Biography(蘭花夢奇傳), whose author was Yimmeishanren(吟梅山人), is a Xia-Yi-Ai-Qing(俠義愛情) novel in the late Qing Dynasty. The work published in 1905 when Emperor Guangxu(光緖) governed China. The novel was reprinted for several times to its excellent art feature as well as its public praise. Orchid Dream Wonderful Biography narratives the life story of the heroin, Songbaozhu(松寶珠). Songbaozhu disguises herself as a man, takes the imperial examination, and takes part in the war. However, she is abused after marring Xuwenqing(許文卿), finally, she dies in misery. Songbaozhu's tragic fate show that although a woman may disguise as a man and makes great contributions in novel, it would never come true in reality. Songbaolin(松寶林) is also home to female hero. Post-transcriptional regulation is an indispensable cellular mechanism of gene expression control that dictates various cellular functions and cell fate decisions. Recently, various chemical RNA modifications, termed the "epitranscriptome," have been proposed to play crucial roles in the regulation of post-transcriptional gene expression. To date, more than 170 RNA modifications have been identified in almost all types of RNA. As with DNA modification-mediated control of gene expression, regulation of gene expression via RNA modification is also accomplished by three groups of proteins: writers, readers, and erasers. Several emerging studies have revealed that dysregulation in RNA modification is closely associated with tumorigenesis. Notably, the molecular outcomes of specific RNA modifications often have opposite cellular consequences. In this review, we highlight the current progress in the elucidation of the mechanisms of cancer development due to chemical modifications of various RNA species.

This explores an African American male poet, Etheridge Knight, and his poems. He died in 1991 and had been wounded in the battle field during the Korean War (1950-1953). Particularly, engaged in the war as a boy soldier, due to his wound, he had turned to a drug addict. Despite his experience in the war, Knight didn't write poems much about the war and wartime experience. Rather than war experience, for Knight, the prison gave him a strong motivation to be a poet with Gwendolyn Brooks' help. Further, Korean scholars are not familiar with contemporary African American poets, and my study is an introduction of those poets. Since in Korea researches on African American poets have been relatively rare, it is needed to sincerely work on those poets. The none-white writers, above all, penetrate the undercurrent of canonized American poets and poems. By examining Knight's poems, I eventually align a notion of the ethnic with racial minorities in the U. S.
