As the late partner to science fiction, various experimental languages such as animal language, telepathic language, newly invented language, alien language often appear as "unexpected and frightened situations" in SF. Like generative semanticists, some SF writers daringly delve into the sacred mystery of semantics in language whereas others avoid the dream of a universal language by holding themselves to manageable data. Samuel Delany's description of the ideal telepathic universal language in Babel 17 shows us humans' dream to be like God by showing to us the new process of communication in the factual interplanetary environment. Similar to the mystery of alien language in SF, the baby's babbling reveals how language is both simple and complicated. Children's language shows us the changing process of a soul revealed by language use and it is no wonder that many languages of AIs in SF often borrow their source from children's language acquisition processes. In short, science fiction as the repository of tropes illuminates other literary language studies and other literary genres. Especially in terms of the futuristic study of linguistics, the relationship between science fiction and linguistics is much closer than we thought.

The story treats each individual's vision as well as social reality that the author intends to describe. The purpose of this article is to search for the conflict between vision and reality, especially in feminist problem that critics have treated on the works of women writers. Though some articles have studied on the issue similar to this article, I try to analyze the narratives in the text that the author herself confesses to us. I think that we can find out clear messages from the individuals who construct the human relationship and build up their personal history through their dialogue or monologue. We can also catch their main problems in the community. I discuss the topic by mentioning the detailed discourses referred to the heroine and other characters in the text. The passages mentioned by the characters in the story may be a confession for the present and future generation that the author tries to confess. From the excerpts of some discourse, I can conclude that though Dorothea has a vision for her ideal, she is a failed feminist, for society is too strong for her as Miller (1990) argues.

It has been known that the pulmonary mycosis generally results from saphrophytic colonization of pre-existing lung cavities, e.g. , due to pulmonary tuberculosis, abscess, bronchiectasis. or congen-ital cysts. Recently, the authors experienced four cases of the pulmonary mycosis which were all treated surgically, and in our opinion, three of them were considered to arise from secondary saphrophytic colonization of pre-existing tuberculous cavities by serial chest roentgenograms. One of them was actinomycosis which was known as relatively rare pulmonary mycosis, and its clinical experience was previously reported. The purpose of this report is mainly to review our clinical experience and some related literatures with three patients with aspergillosis. Many writers have stressed the sputum culture for aspergillus, immunologic study and serial roentgenographic findings were all important or essential in diagnosing aspergillosis. Surgical resection appears to be the treatment of choice for the mycosis of lung, and systemic administration of effective anti-fungal agents such as amphotericin B for aspergillosis and penicillin for actinomycosis respectively following surgical intervention is usually necessary to eradicate completely.

The writers have treated in hospital a two-year and 4 month boy child with Guillain-Barre syndrome whose chief complaints are flaccid tetraparalysis and hypesthesia for about three months from December 2, 1996. In the early stage, the principles and methods of treatment such as wind expelling and removal of dampness(?風濕) and obstruction in meridians and collaterals(通經活絡) were used and in the late stage the principles and methods of treatment to invigorate the spleen, replenish Ki(健脾益氣), and nourish the liver and kidneys(滋補肝腎) were applied, together with acupuncture, indirect moxibustion and massotheraphy. Since then, the symptom has gradually improved. Six months after onset, the boy child was recovered to a nearly normal condition. Therefore, this case of treatment is reported, together with consideration of literature.

성 주류화 전략은 1995년 베이징에서 열린 제4차 UN 세계여성회의에서 공식화되었으며 빠르게 지구적으로 확산된 새로운 성평등 전략이다. 한국영화산업은 핵심창작인력인 감독, 작가, 프로듀서의 남녀 성비가 매우 불균형하다. 스태프도 여성직군과 남성직군으로 나뉘어 있으며 남녀 임금 격차도 나타난다. 한국영화산업에서 성평등을 이루어내기 위해서는 독립적인 의제설정과 핵심성과지표가 수반되는 성 주류화 전략의 수용이 필요하다.

In this paper, we describe how to represent hand witten decimal digits by a sequence of one to five fuzzy sets. Each fuzzy set represents an arc segment of the digit and is a Cartesian product of four fuzzy sets; the first is fur the arc length of the segment, the second is for the arc direction, the third is fur the arc shape, and the fourth is a crisp number indicating whether it has a junction point and if it has an end point of a stroke. We show that an arbitrary pair of these sequences representing two different digits is mutually disjoint. We also show that various forms of a digit written in different styles can be represented by the same sequence of fuzzy sets and hence the deviations due to different writers can be modeled by using these fuzzy sets.

Most of all countries have a governmental system for regulating the certification of nursing. In Korea, certification of advanced practice nurse(APN) is statuary regulation under supervision of government. In this article, the writers discuss the legal characters and effects of certification and regulatory body for certification and suggest the new regulatory system. The advanced practitioner may be recognize "new" health provider in the future. The nursing specialist have right to use title and practice expanded role. It's different things with physicians certification. The regulatory body is important because certification protected the title and empower APN authorize of expanded role. The certification of nursing is closely connected with public interest. The Korea government delegate power of national examination to private institute. To improve utility and publicity of certification system, we suggest that statutory empower the certification authority to public institute which composed with nursing professionals.

1. Anatomical and histological study on the bovine teat have been described. 2. Two different types of suture methods were applied to the artificial leaking teats experimentally produced in laboratory and the accuracy between the two methods have been compared. 3. The instruments, anesthesia, restraint of animal and surgical technic used in the surgical correction of leaking teats in writers hand have been described. 4. Of the eleven cases of leaking teats operated in the field, seven cases healed perfectly and the rest of cases failed to heal due to the faulty postoperative care in owner's hands and or writer's surgical error.

There exist various conventional ideas, but few ideas may be used for actual production of advertisements. Moreover, because we tend to obtain ideas primarily from the pictures, we rely more and more on data collections, and eventually, we tend to copy them. If there is an idea which designers and copy writers can share, it will be a very effective idea. On the other hard, we need to depart from the individualistic mannerism or the reset-oriented approach depending on incidental manual works and instead, develop a lecture program which helps students e strike systematic ideas centering around processes. In order tn solve such problems, the researcher attempts to suggest "Spring Method" which has heed verified through the advertisement design practice courses at college for 7 semesters. This method focuses on ′visualization of concept′ through such stages as compression, inference and expansion, and therefore, emphasizes an organic linkage between language-oriented idea process and visualization process for advertisement ideas.

이 연구는 현 단계 한국문헌정보학이 각종 사회환경의 변화에 유연하게 대응할 수 있는 발전전략을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 다음의 두 가지 실천전략을 제시하였다. 첫 번째는 주체적인 학술연구의 전략으로서, 연구자들이 기존의 학술논문쓰기 방법을 과감하게 탈피하여 도서관과 관련기관의 일상생활을 있는 그대로 기술하고 설명할 수 있는 자유롭고 쉬운 양식의 글 쓰기 전략을 제시하였다. 또한 한국의 낙후된 도서관현장의 발전에 참조가 되는 방향에서 외국의 원전을 읽고 번역하는 전략도 함께 제시하였다. 두 번째는 학술운동의 전략으로서, 연구자와 현장사서들이 함께 참여하여 우리의 학문적 내실을 다져내며 한국문헌정보학이 한국사회과학의 당당한 일원으로서 참여할 수 있는 전략을 제시하였다.
