The region is composed of Cretaceous volcanic and sedimentary rocks; andesites and granites, It is clarified by the writers that most formations ever known as andesites are not igneous origin but hornfelsic sedimentary rocks. Refering to this fact, broad areas in the south-eastern part of the Kyeong-Sang Namdo which are colored as andesites in the geologic maps scale 1/50,000, published by Geological Survey of Korea should be rechecked. In this area, four granite plutons are isolated by the hornfelsic sedimentary formation, andesites and alluvium. Each plutons are zoned by the lithological facies.

The forth edition of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (1994) provides documentation advice for writers in the social sciences. This style of citation briefly identifies the source for readers and enables them to locate the source of information in the alphabetical reference list at the end of an article. Although the APA publication manual gives recommendations for citing some kinds of electronic resources, it acknowledges that at the time of writing this edition, a standard had not yet emerged for referencing on-line information. Because the manual was published before the development of the Internet as we know it, it does not have guidelines for citing www sites, web discussion forum posting, and other Internet resources,. Therefore this study aims to extend the principles and conventions of APA citation style to electronic resources.

The present paper explores rationales for the process-oriented approach to teaching writing and their implications for EFL writing classes. The product-oriented traditional approach to writing has put too much emphasis on linguistic aspects of writing. It fails to see the enormous complexity of the act of composing. In the process-oriented paradigm, writing is regarded as a messy process leading to clarity and the writer discovers meaning instead of merely' finding an appropriate structure in which to package ideas already developed from the beginning. Based on the underlying assumptions, some suggestions are made for EFL writing classes. Firstly, practitioners should be aware that writing is a recursive activity in which the writer moves backward and forwards between drafting and revising, with stages of re-planning in between. Secondly, writing teachers should help the student writers build an awareness of themselves as a writer and encourage their sense of confidence in writing. Lastly, students should be encouraged to pay their attention to content revision at first, and delay editing changes until the last draft.

This paper discusses Leon Battista Alberti's vision of the paradigmatic city. In his De re aedificatoria, Alberti proposes how the architecture of both individual buildings and cities should be ordered and embellished. Borrowing ideas from the ancient writers on one hand, and reflecting on actual urban reality on the other, Alberti proposes an ideal city where the sacred and the secular come together in hierarchical harmony, beautified under the principle of ornament. In Book VIII, dealing with secular public works of architecture, he writes about the composition of a new humanist city that transcends actual reality. Ornament, a central idea of his aesthetics, supports his conception of the paradigmatic city.

This study investigated children's literate behaviors in a block play area, in a block play area enriched with literacy materials, and in enriched block play with teacher intervention. The subjects were twelve 5-year-old boys who were emergent readers and writers. The results showed that literate behaviors increased in the enriched environment, compared to the non-enriched environment, and literate behaviors increased dramatically after teacher intervention in the enriched environment. The results of this study suggest that teacher intervention in block play enriched with literacy materials contributes to children's development of literacy.

A purpose of this study is to develop multimedia materials of “Technology and Home Economics” subject matter in a national level. Researchers. writers. examiners. deliverers and developers in order to develop multimedia materials were organized of us with 40 People. First. we analyzed the textbooks of "Technology $.$ Home Economics" subject matter and made the idea design Second we got storyboards based on the idea design. Finally. we developed the 1021 multimedia materials based with storyboards. The developed materials were uploaded to the Edunet website. If the materials developed in this study are utilized. students of middle school will be get easily educational motive. and teachers are able to use the multimedia materials to the Technology $.$ Home Economics 1" subject instruction.

게임의 비젼을 콘텐츠개발에 있다. 특히, 수준있는 게임 만들기 위해서는 다양한 시나리오의 창작이 시급한 실정이다. 그러기 위해서는 조속히 게임시나리오창작의 저변화가 이루어져야 한다고 생각한다. 또한 유능한 시나리오작가 및 디자이너의 양성을 위해 학문적인 틀이 어느정도 체계화되어야 한다고 사료된다. 본고에서는 게임시나리오창작과정에서 삽입되어져야 할 인터랙티브요소인 아이템요소, 퍼즐요소, 이벤트요소의 유형을 살펴보았다. 인터랙티브요소들이 스토리 진행을 방해하는 요소로 작용되기보다는 자연스럽게 녹아들어 있어야 게임의 완성도를 높인다는 결론을 내리며, 본 연구가 게임 연구자들에게 조금이나마 보탬이 되었으면 하는 바램이다.

In 1986, the People's Insurance Company of China(hereinafter called PICC) Hull Insurance Clauses, which were amended on the basis of the version 1972, were put into effect. Since PICC is the biggest state-owned insurance company in China, its hull insurance clauses have been used nationwide. In the clauses are included the following contents： scope of cover, exclusions, period of insurance, automatical termination of insurance, duty of assured, claim and indemnity, treatment of disputes and so on. However, this study is only limited to the legal interpretation of the most important clauses relating to indemnity of the insurer. The writers attempt to supply some basic materials necessary for the establishment and enforcement of the Korean hull insurance clauses.

Many investigations have been conducted to find out the reason behind wind-rain-induced cable vibration in cable-stayed bridges. A single-degree-of-freedom (SDOF) analytical model, which could capture main features of wind-rain-induced cable vibration, was recently presented by the writers. This paper extends the SDOF model to a 2DOF model by including the equation of motion of upper rivulet. The interaction between the upper rivulet and the cable is described in terms of nonlinear damping force, linear restoring force, and inertia force. The computed results using the 2DOF model are first compared with the results from simulated wind-rain tunnel tests, and the comparison is found satisfactory in general. The possible mechanisms of wind-rain-induced cable vibration are discussed and a parametric study is then conducted. Finally, the computed results using the 2DOF model are compared with those predicted by the SDOF model. The 2DOF model is found better than the SDOF model but the SDOF model is still acceptable for its simplicity.

Explicit reference to the work of other authors is an essential feature of most academic research writings. Corpus analysis of academic text can reveal much about what writers actually do and why they do so. Application of corpus tools in language education has been well documented by many scholars (Pedersen, 1995, Swales, 1990, Thompson, 2000). They demonstrate how computer technology can assist in the effective analysis of corpus based data. For teaching purposes, tills recent research provides insights in the areas of English for Academe Purposes (EAP). The need for such support is evident when students have to use appropriate citations in their writings. Using Swales' (1990) division of citation forms into integral and non-integral and Thompson and Tnbble's (2001) classification scheme, this paper codifies academic texts in a corpus. The texts are academic research articles from different disciplines. The results lead into a comparison of the citation practices m different disciplines. Finally, it is argued that the information obtained in this study is useful for EAP writing courses in EFL countries.
