In this paper, we develope a intelligent monitoring system of Coastal Ocean Environment based on WWW(World Wide Web) and PCS(Personal Communication System). This system have capability of real time processing of enviromental variable from various sensors. The system is composed of three part. The first part is mathematical modeling of real ocean. The second is construction server for real time web page. And the third is developing the measurement system which has wireless(PCS) interface to server.

WWW(World Wide Web)은 플랫폼에 독립적인 특성과 인터넷의 보편화로 가장 일반적인 사용자 인터페이스가 되었다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 특징을 가지는 웹과 새로운 분산 기술인 지니 기술을 접목시켜 웹 기반의 프린팅 시스템을 구현하였다. 이 시스템은 Local Area Network 내에서 프린트 서비스가 네트웍에 접속되어 있으면 프린터 드라이버를 추가하지 않고 어디서나 사용 가능하며, 지니 기술의 Plug&Work 개념을 적용하여 웹 브라우저를 통해 네트웍에 연결된 각 서비스들을 검색, 이용할 수 있도록 하였다.

현재 WWW(World Wide Web)는 가장 중요한 정보전달 및 획득 수단이 되었다. 대부분의 네트워크 사용자들은 웹에서 정보를 습득하기 위하여 대부분 검색엔진(Search Engine)을 사용한다. 그러나 웹에 등록되는 정보의 종류와 분량이 폭발적으로 증가함에 따라 검색엔진들이 제공하여 주는 인덱스화된 정보의 리스트들이 너무 많고, 또한 많은 문서들은 중복되어 나타나 사용자들이 효율적으로 정보를 검색하는데 문제점이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 다중디스플레이(MultiDisplay) 기법을 이용하여 사용자들에게 친숙하고, 웹의 정보검색에 필요한 시간과 노력을 대폭 줄이는 방안을 제시하였다.

인터넷 상의 웹페이지에 나타나는 숫자들의 빈도수를 조사한 후 이러한 숫자들이 이루는 집합체의 성질을 알아보고 이러한 자료들이 각 종 법칙들(거듭곱 법칙, 지프 법칙, 벤포드 법칙)이 성립하는 지를 살펴보았다.

웹 서비스가 인터넷을 주도하면서 Hyper Text Markup Language(HTML) 문서 위주의 정보검색 서비스에서 한 발 더 나아가 SQL 데이터베이스와 웹을 통합하여 이를 비즈니스 분야로 확대 발전시키기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 실제로 많은 웹 서버에서 Common Gateway Interface(CGI) 기능을 데이터베이스 검색에 활용하고 있다. 이와 함께 GCI를 사용자 입장에서 한 단계 발전시킨 WWW interface to DataBase(WDB), Gateway Structure Query Language(GSQL) 등이 인터넷에서 소개되고 있다. 본 고에서는 현재 다각도로 진행중인 웹과 데이터베이스 통합기술 동향을 CGI와 WDB를 통해 살펴보았다.

To help the blind to find the information easily on World Wide Web, this research has tried to develop the device which enables us to convert HTML for the general into HTML for the blind. This program consists of the items as follows: 1. Web Robot to gather the internet browser and the general HTML. 2. Restoring DB by Parsing process 3. Multimedia editor for the use of web DB to add the literal and acoustic description to the editing function. 4. Convertor which gathers the DB and then changes into HTML for the blind. This project is designed to make it easy for the manager to establish the web site for the blind. We expect that this program will basically help the blind to overcome the inequality in the common information.

In this study, the Web Camera System is implementation and simulated on two different architectures. In the one architecture, a Web-server and Camera-server are implemented on the same system, and the system transfers motion picture which compressed to JPEG file to users on the WWW(World Wide Web). In the other architecture, the Web-server and Camera-server are implemented on different systems, and the motion picture is transferred from the Camera-server to Web-server, and finally to users. In order to compare system performance between two architecture, data traffic is measured and simulated in the unit of byte per second and frame per second.

Web Services가 차세대 e-Business를 주도할 것으로 많은 주목을 받으면서 XML(extensible Markup Language)을 기반으로 하여 폭넓게 성장해 가고 있다. 하지만 안전한 서비스의 측면에서 Web Services 는 폐쇄환경에서는 존재하지 않았던 새로운 보안 고려사항들을 부각시키고 있다. 이에 대한 해결을 위해 본 논문에서는 XML을 기반으로 하는 Web Services의 특성에 맞추어, 플랫폼 독립적이며 언어 중립적인 특징을 유지한 XML-Signcryption을 제안하는데, 이것은 논리적으로 한번에 전자 서명과 암호화를 함께 수행하도록 하여 기존의 서명 후 암호화에서 요구되는 계산 비용보다 더 적은 비용을 가지고 있는 Zheng의 Signcryption 기법을 XML 보안에 응용한 것이다. 본 논문에서 처음으로 XML 구문 형식을 따라 XML-Signcryption이란 명칭으로 설계하여 제안하는 XML-Signcryption은 암호화와 전자서명을 따로 구현한 W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)의 XML-Encryption이나 XML-Signature 스펙과 비교해, 전자서명과 암호화의 두 가지 보안 메커니즘을 위한 각각의 구현을 따로 할 필요 없이 한번에 할 수 있다는 면에서 개발자들에게 편리성을 제공할 뿐만 아니라 계산 비용 측면에서도 효율적인 장점을 제공한다.

인터넷은 사용이 매우 간편한 도구인 월드와이드웹의 등장으로 인하여 가장 독보적이면서도 강력한 지원을 제공하는 세계에서 가장 간편한 네트워크 자원이 되었다. 더 나아가 정적인 2차원을 넘어서 3차원 View 웹 서비스와 같은 동적인 서비스를 제공하는 많은 방법들이 제시되었다. 본 논문에서는 MRI, CT, PET 같은 2차원 의료 영상을 쌓아 만든 3차원 데이터를 웹에서 인터액티브하게 가시화 하는 볼륨 렌더링 View 프로그램을 제시할 것이다. 이를 위해 우리는 COM기술을 바탕으로 하는 ActiveX 컴포넌트인 OCX 컨트롤로 만들어 웹 페이지에서 실현 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 인터넷만 있으면 쉽게 원격에서도 3차원 가시화를 통한 영상 분석을 할 수 있는 기능을 제공하여 질병의 진단에 크게 기여 할 것으로 기대된다.

Recent increase of commercial network Integration to World Wide Web(WWW) shifts an ordinary commerce to electronic environment. This draws more people to examine re-assurance of their secure transaction. This study investigates current status of security methodology for Electronic Payment System and extracts important axis of security level for electronic payment. Using these axis as security evaluation criteria, the research proposes a security matrix which consists of four different level of security granularity, hence allowing evaluation of a nation-wide credit card based payment system. Feasible usage of this matrix contributes to security analysis of the electronic system as whole, hence providing better secured electronic environment.
