본 연구는 문학의 언어적 표현이 영화에 어떻게 재현되는가 하는 의문에서 출발하였다. 문학작품이 영화화될 때의 표현방법과 그 미적가치를 확인하기 위해 본 연구는 옐리넥의 "피아노 치는 여자"와 이를 원작으로 한 미카엘 하네케 감독의 영화 <피아니스트>를 분석하였다. 원작은 엄마의 감시와 통제 하에 살아온 에리카의 삶을 언어로 섬세하게 묘사한 작품이다. 영화 <피아니스트>의 주제 또한 통제하는 엄마와 그런 억압 속에서 살아 온 주인공 에리카의 욕망의 충돌이다. 영화는 이를 표현하기 위해 여러 이미지 요소를 사용했다. 엄마로 지칭되는 억압의 세계는 닫힌 공간, 어두운 공간으로 표현되었고 발터로 지칭되는 에리카의 외부세계, 즉 욕망의 세계는 열린 공간, 환한 공간으로 표현되었다. 감옥 같은 이중문, 철창, 검은색, 그늘로 상징된 통제의 세계에서 살아 온 에리카의 삶은 비정상적으로 뒤틀려있다. 피아니스트인 그녀의 삶에 가장 중심이 되었을 피아노 또한 억압의 그늘진 세계의 상징으로 표현되었다.

급변하는 세계 경제환경 하에서 생존과 발전을 지속하기 위해서는 우리 나라 정기선사도 신속한 변화와 대응이 필요하다. 즉 개방화 및 자율화의 큰 흐름으로 급변하는 세계적인 해운환경의 변화에 맞추어 우리 나라의 해운산업정책토 종전의 보호와 폐쇄위주의 정책에서 점진적으로 개방과 자율화로 그 기조가 변화되어 가고 있으며 국제해상운송을 담당하고 있는 정기선사들 역시 원가절감과 고객서비스의 제고라는 화주의 요구에 부응하기 위한 노력을 경주하고 있다. 즉, 한편에서는 규모의 경제를 통한 원가절감을 위해 대형컨테이너선의 투입을 늘리는 동시에 다른 한편에서는 선사들간 전략적 제휴를 통해 서비스항로의 범위와 서비스 빈도를 확대하고 지역별로 서비스를 특화하는 등 화주의 다양한 고객서비스 요구에도 부응하려는 경향이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 우리나라 정기선사의 국제경쟁력을 파악하려는데 그 목적이 있으며 정기선사에 의하여 이루어지는 정기선운송을 그 대상으로 하였다.

The progressive artists in Austria including Gustav Klimt organized the Viennes Se-cessionist in 1897 and they took an active part in the reformation of the reformation of the applied art by accepting the Jugendstil standing for the true art. The vocabularies which characterize this group are decoration literature and the power of symbol. Klimt especially expressed these characteristics and his strong person-ality. For he created his works with the sym-bolic and friendly splendor through his highly decorative talents by accepting the enwly changed artistic situation in those days and by getting out of the naturalistic trends he was regarded as an avant-garde artist as a major figure among the Symbolist artists who revived European culture which was destroyed through the World War I. The characteristics of klimt's works was to express the various human thoughts and minds through the decorativeness and the femininity and to use the decorative elements of old Greek and Egyptian culture and Japanese art as the motives of his works, His art is to be found between the naturalistic characteristics and formalization as well as between the in-dustrial arts and the fine arts. In his many portraits he preferred women by trying to express eroticism hidden behind the human inner world. For this he demonstrated the attractiveness and the characteristics of the models by designing the illusionary and unique clothes. In general his genius was to be seen through the costume which was decorated with metals and jewels and through the characteristics of the modern costume in which the previous solid silhouette was removed and the gentle and elegant me-dium color was used. by accepting the new artistic trends in the turn of the century by fully expressing those characteristics in his creative world and by taking his theme from the eroticism through the decorativeness and the expression of women Gustav Klimt's uniquely decorative ex-pression completely realized the aesthetics of Jugendstil symbol decoration and expression which displayed not only the external appear-ance but also the inner world. Especially he created a new appearance emphasizing the costume of the characters in his works. Also through the costume he expressed his artistic consciousness and psy-chology. He showed the characteristics of the reformed costume through the medium color the simple forms and gentle silhouette. Also he tried to symbolize the passionate inner pow-er by designing the small mosaics such as the geometrical patterns whirlpool patterns and the indecent meanings all over the costume. Klmt's this kinds of attemps shows a Stil Kostume as the external outcome of the inner spiritual activities like art and it establishes a basis for the theory of costume are which deals with the concepts of costume from the artistics points of view. This tradition playing an important role in the contemporary history of costume even has been still inherited up to today.

본 연구는 중국이 고등교육강국으로의 전환 및 세계일류대학 건설을 서두르기 위하여 기존의 211 985 공정에 이어 2015년 내세운 쌍일류 건설 방안의 내용과 특징에 대하여 살펴보고 우리나라의 고등교육 경쟁력 강화 및 세계일류대학육성을 위한 시사점을 도출하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위해 문헌분석법을 활용하였으며, 현재 중국 내에서 세계일류대학 및 쌍일류 건설사업과 관련하여 발표된 각종 정책문건들, 신문 보도자료, 주요 연구논문, 보고서 및 저서들을 수집하여 분석하였다. 중국의 세계일류대학 및 세계일류학과 육성정책을 알아보기 위해 우선 기존 정책의 전개과정 및 성과와 한계를 살펴보았다. 다음으로 중국에서 사용되는 세계일류대학의 개념에 대해 정의한 후, 쌍일류 건설의 추진 목표와 주요 내용을 살펴보았고, 마지막으로 쌍일류 건설 사업의 특징을 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 쌍일류 건설 사업의 주요 특징으로 대학의 전통과 특색 중시, 인재의 양성 및 유치에 초점, 집중적인 재정지원, 경쟁체제 도입 등을 도출하였다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 우리나라 고등교육 경쟁력 강화 및 세계일류대학 육성을 위해 장기적이고 종합적인 고등교육 사업의 수립과 실천이 이루어질 것, 지방 정부의 참여와 지원을 유도할 것, 대학의 핵심기능인 인재양성 및 학과발전에 중점을 둘 것, 창조성과 혁신에 의한 연구성과를 중시할 것, 세계일류대학 육성과정에서 한국적 특색과 문화전통 계승을 중시할 것 등을 제언하였다.

이 논문은 여헌(旅獻) 장현광(張顯光)의 시에 있어서 '경(敬)'의 이념이 어떻게 문학적으로 형상화되었는가에 대한 시론적(試論的) 고찰이다. 우선 예비적 고찰로서 경(敬) 개념의 사적 추이와 범주를 정리하면서 여헌이 생각한 '경(敬)' 이념은 무엇이었는지 살펴보았다. 이를 통해 여헌이 정이(程?)에서 주희(朱熹)까지 이어지는 도학사적(道學史的) 맥락에서 실천 이념으로서 경(敬)을 강조하였음을 확인하였다. 본고는 이러한 경(敬) 이념의 시적 형상화를 '청정(淸淨)의 추구'와 '기상(氣像)의 강조'로 나누어 해명하고자 하였다. 잔잔하고 맑은 냇물과 같은 깨끗한 덕성(德性)을 가진 사물은 여헌 시에 있어서 중요한 제재이다. 여기서 냇물의 '고요함'과 '청정함'의 이미지는 '경(敬)' 이념의 시적 형상화와 깊이 연계된 것임을 알 수 있었다. 아울러 깊은 산 속과 같은 속세와 분리된 무구(無垢)의 세계에 대한 희구(希求)도 그와 같은 삶의 태도를 형상화한 것으로 여헌 시의 특징적 일 국면을 이루고 있음을 밝혔다. 다음으로 혼탁한 속세를 거부하고 청정한 세계의 추구하려는 시적 화자와 더불어 고고(孤高)한 기상(氣像)의 강조도 여헌 시에 자주 보이는 특징임을 확인하였다. 대, 소나무, 학(鶴), 산 등 '고고(孤高)'의 이미지에 잘 부합하는 제재들이 여헌 시에 빈번하게 나타나는 것이 고고(孤高)한 기상(氣像)의 강조와 밀접한 관계가 있음을 살펴보았다. 이와 더불어 이러한 주제의 시에 나타나는 고양된 시적(詩的) 흥취(興趣)와 그에서부터 비롯된 비약적 상상력 등은 여헌의 시 세계를 깊이 이해하는 단서임을 밝혔다. 이제 본격적인 연구와 함께 여헌의 시세계를 회재(晦齋)나 퇴계(退溪) 등 여타 도학파 문인들의 시세계와 비교하고 변별점을 고구(考究)하는 것이 남은 과제이다. 비슷한 시기의 도학자라고 하더라도 시대적 여건과 삶이 궤적이 상이했던 점을 고려해야 할 필요가 있다. 전란의 시대에 고향을 떠나 이주를 거듭했던 여헌의 경우 16세기에 출사(出仕)한 사림(士林)이나 재지적(在地的) 기반(基盤)이 확고했던 사족(士族)들과는 문학적 사유나 형상화 방식에는 분명히 편차가 존재할 것이기 때문이다.

The purpose of this paper was to take an in-depth look at early American English around the $17^{th}$ and $18^{th}$ century when immigrants from different European countries started to move into the New World. The paper attempted to describe early American English in relation to the process of immigration and settlement from a historical perspective. With a focus on major features of early American English such as uniformity, archaism and richness of lexicon, the paper tried to answer the questions such as how settlement influenced the formation and distribution of regional dialects across the continent, why immigrants tended to show a preference for a uniform way of speaking rather than choosing a variety of regional dialects for communication, and what role foreign languages played in the development of early American English. The overall findings based on the answers to these questions showed how American English went through a variety of processes and changes at the early stages of its development to become a national language later. The paper concluded with some remarks about the implications of the findings for EFL learning and the direction of future research on early American English.

The object of this study is to show some features of English, focused on such mechanics as punctuation and transition, in Korean presidential addresses transcribed in English which are different from those of the United States. Towards that end, the presidential addresses of the United States and Korea from January, 2010 to June, 2010 are collected, made into corpora, and analyzed. Through analyzing the corpora, this paper is to address the following research questions: (1) What features can be regarded as different in terms of punctuation and transition? (2) If there are any differences between the corpora, are they significant enough to pose any problems for Korean and American English users to communicate with each other? (3) If so, what can be done to solve the problems in regard to pedagogical implications? Overall, as for punctuation, both Presidents' addresses share a lot in common, even with some idiosyncratic variations though. However, there are some noticeable differences in transitional devices. It is not clear whether those should be taken as a sign of personal preference, though. Transitional markers are meant to be part of wording in writing. (196 words).
