F10T 고장력 볼트를 이용한 T-형 플랜지형 구조물의 Prying Action에 따른 정적강도 해석 (The Static Strength Analysis of Prying Action for T-flange Shape Structure Using F10T High Strength Bolt)

  • This paper presents and discusses the experimental results on the F10T high strength bolts used in the T-flange joint structure. The experimental works were carried out for the parameters which are flange web thickness, the distance between bolts, prying ratio. The results show that the working stress imposed to bolts decreases as the flange web thickness increases on the other hand the imposed stress to the bolts increases as the distance between two bolts increases. In other words the strength of the T-flange joint increased as the web flange thickness increases and the distance between two bolts decreases. The prying ratio is increased as the distance between two bolts increases and as the flange web thickness decreases However, the degree of stress decrease in flange thickness variation is not that high as the distance variation between two bolts. Finally the equation for predicting the failure stress in T-flange joint structure using F10T high strength bolts was suggested.

컨테이너 크레인용 레일클램프의 U형 쐐기 형상설계 (Shape Design of the U-Type Wedge of the Rail Clamp for a Container Crane)

  • The wedge type rail clamp compresses the rails with small clamping force at first, and with large clamping force when the wind speed increases because of the wedge working. If the supporter is not installed in the rail clamp with V-type wedge when the wind speed increases more and more, the structure will occur overload which leads the structure to fracture. But in the clamp with U-type wedge the supporter is not necessary because the tangential angle of the wedge increases as the sliding distance increases. The proper shape of U-type wedge is determined by the initial clamping force and the tangential angle of the wedge. Accordingly we, first carry out the finite element analysis in order to analyze the relation between the sliding distance and the wedge angle. Next we suggest the proper shape of U-type wedge as analyze the relation between the radius of curvature and the sliding distance.

  • In welding, there is much dangerous element. Workers who are exposed to working field of welding may be infected with industrial diseases. To solve these problems, many studies has been carried out. It is a good method to make welding automation in the distance and internet makes it possible. If internet is used, welding can be carried out without the limitation of time and place. On this study, welding by using internet is studied. By using internet, computer which has interface with welding machine is connected to computer in the distance and welding is carried out with the signal of computer in the distance. Basically the connection of computers is made by two program-Server and client windows program-which have functions which are needed for control of XYZ table and welding machine. Through these program, the motion of welding torch which was mounted on XYZ table, the starting and ending of welding is controlled and monitored with a camera. Also, signal-welding current and arc voltage-is measured and displayed.

Collision-free trajectory planning for dual robot arms

  • A collision-free trajectory planning algorithm is proposed to optimally coordinate two robots working in a common 3-D workspace. Each link of the two robots is modeled as a line segment and by their motion priority, one of the two robots is chosen as the master and the other the slave. And the one-step-ahead minimum distance between the two robots is computed by moving the master to the next location on its specified trajectory. Then the nominal trajectory of the slave is modified such that the distance between the next locations of the master and the slave must be larger than a prespecified allowable minimum distance. Here the weighted sum of the trajectory error and the joint motions of the slave is minimized by using the linear programming technique under the constraints that joint angle and velocity limits are not violated. To show the validity of the proposed algorithm, a numerical example is illustrated by employing a two dof's and a three dof's planar robots.

  • Utilization rate for the restrictive gate and required time and walking distance to board are to be a measure for the gate management and passenger's convenience estimation. So, the main purpose of the gate management are maximization of utilization rate and increment of airport terminal user's convenience through the efficient gate management. This study intends to maximize the utilization rate on usable gates and minimize the passenger's working distance in terminal by concerning about layout, terminal configuration, local passenger of the airport and formulate the gate assignment problem with integer linear programming problem. Then we obtained solution using optimization software LINGO and analyzed that maximize the number of assignment flights and minimize the passenger's walking distance.

인지능력의 개별차와 한국어 학습자의 주격-목적격 관계절 프로세싱 (Cognitive Individual Differences and L2 Learners' Processing of Korean Subject-Object Relative Clauses)

  • 본 연구는, 한국어 학습자들의 주격과 목적격 관계절 프로세싱과 관련한 두 가지 가설인 선형거리가설(Linear distance hypothesis)과 구조거리가설(Structural distance hypothesis)을 통해 Keenan과 Comrie(1977)의 명사구 접근 위계(Noun Phrase Accessibility Hierarchy)를 검증한 O'Grady, Lee, 그리고 Choo의 2003년 연구를 바탕으로 설계된 conceptual replication 연구이다. 본 실험에서는 한국에서 공부하는 중국어 모어 학습자들을 대상으로 두 가설을 테스트 하였다. 더불어, 두 가설과 관련, 인지적인 능력(작동기억)의 개별차가 어떤 역할을 하는지에 대해서도 추가적으로 조사하였다. 실험 당시 지방의 모 대학 소재 한국어학당에서 공부하는 중국어 모어 학습자들이 실험집단으로 참여하였다. 각각의 실험 활동을 올바르게 인지하고 참여한 23명의 학습자 데이터에 한하여 통계 분석이 이루어졌다. 통제집단으로는 한국어 모어 대학생 15명이 참여하였다. 참가자들은 두 가지 실험 활동을 수행하였다: O'Grady외의 연구에서 사용된 동일한 관계절들이 포함된 그림 선택 활동과 작동기억 측정을 위해 디자인된 활동(Operation Span Task). 본 실험의 결과는 O'Grady외의 연구 결과와 다소 차이를 보였다. 즉, 주격보다는 목적격 관계절에 대한 학생들의 이해도가 상대적으로 현저하게 높게 나타났다. 세부적인 분석에 따르면, 이는 선형거리가설에 따른 현상이라기보다는, 상용절 전략을 사용한 프로세싱 결과로 해석하는 것이 더 적절해 보인다. 작동기억의 개별차와 관계절 프로세싱이 유의미한 상관관계가 없는 것으로 나타난 것도 이러한 과도한 상용절 전략의 결과로 볼 수 있다.

차세대 DVD 시스템용 Actuator 연구 (Study on Dual-Lenses Actuator for HD-DVD System)

  • Recently, an optical disc system has been proposed using blue laser diode, high NA objective lens and groove only disc structure. A new method is needed to readout CD and DVD in this blue system. In order to readout CD and DVD in HD-DVD system, we adopted dual-lenses actuator in consideration of optical utilization efficiency, optical performance and insurance of sufficient W.D (working distance). This dual-lenses actuator has two objectives in radial direction, one is for CD/DVD and the other is for HD-DVD. We had to solve the induced problems of DC tilt increase, $2^{nd}$ resonance deterioration and AC sensitivity drop caused by disposing two lenses in an actuator. Especially, to solve AC sensitivity drop, we introduced two 2-pole magnets and separated focus and track magnetic circuits. Consequently we presented that dual-lenses actuator has been possessed good performance. And we measured eye patterns of CD, DVD and HD-DVD by using HD-DVD optical pick-up with dual-lenses actuator.

플라즈마 용사용 $Al_2O_3/SS316$ 복합 분말 제조 및 경사 코팅충의 제조에 관한 연구 (Properties of Plasma Sprayed $Al_2O_3/SS316$ Graded Coatings)

  • In the case of using high temperature by coating ceramic/metal, large stress was produced due to difference of thermal expansion coefficient between those. And then lead to delamination. In order to relaxation of the stress A1$_2$O$_3$/SS316 composite powders with $10wt.%Al_2O_3$ compositional gradient and $10wt.%Al_2O_3$ agglomerated powder were made by spray drying method. These powders were sintered to improve the strength and to be plasma sprayed in order to fabricate the FGC(functionally graded coating). The influence of gun power, working distance and Ar pressure on the microstructure of the coating layer was studied in order to optimize the plasma spray conditions. It was proven that the optimum conditions were 40kw gun power, 5cm working distance and $100ft^3/h$ Ar flow for both powders. FGC with 10 compositional steps was fabricated and the total thickness was 1.3mm. FGC was heat treated at $1100^{\circ}C$for 10hours to evaluate the heat resisting characteristics.
