An Activation Plan of Electronic Contract Real Estate

  • In the 21st century knowledge and information society, Electronic Contracts made with the intention of electronic computer information networks are emerging as a new legal problem which can not be solved in the conventional legal system governing contracts. In other words, the indicator's decision determines the effect and formation of the contracts in the face-to-face or written contracts but electronic decision through computer information network is established the working process of electronic signals-electronic contracts are not only difficult to separate the decision-making process but questioned to be solved by the theory of the general legal action. Ministry of Transportation is scheduled to introduce real estate sales and lease contract using a variety of electronic devices such as computer, tablet PC, smart phones and so on without a paper contract. This system is conducted to global expansion of Seoul in demonstration zone on May 8, 2016 and will be implemented nationwide in the second half of 2017. Electronics contract Real estate has some benefits because made by linking electronic contract system and the electronic registration system - the economic effects discounts on various kinds of fees, the prevention from real estate fraud beforehand and the solution to the complexity of the process the seller and the buyer visits The Real estate agency. However, it has some problem- the disorder in the real estate contract market, the occurrence of the real estate agency accident and the author of the electronic real estate contracts have limited only to realtor. In this paper, I suggest the activation plan to search for establishment and effect of electronic contracts and declaration of intention in electronic depending on the Electronic Contract Real Estate system.

Development of an Internet-Based Medical Diagnosis System (인터넷 기반 원격 의료 진단 시스템 개발)

  • Radiologic images are widely used in hospitals for diagnosing and treating patients' diseases. The radiologist accurately reads radiologic images, and thus helps diagnose patients correctly. The number of radiologists is much smaller than is necessary, however. In some small or rural hospitals, there are no radiologists residing there. In these cases, correct diagnosis and treatment are infeasible. Also, radiologists are not resident at hospitals all day long. Thus, emergency patients would suffer from the absence of radiologists at night. XRay21 Inc. and Data & Knowledge Engineering Lab. at Kangwon National University have been working together since 2000 in order to alleviate the problems above. Currently, the advances of the computer and network technology make it possible to connect a lot of radiologists and hospitals together through the Internet. By fully utilizing the Internet environment, we have developed an Internet-based medical diagnosis system, thus permitting remote diagnosis of radiologic images. This paper presents the technical experiences obtained in developing the system.

  • Context-aware computing systems require real-time context reasoning process for context awareness. Context reasoning can be done by comparing input information from sensors with knowledge-base within system. This method is identical with it of rule-based systems. In this paper, we propose hardware rule-based system architecture which can process context reasoning in real-time. Compared to previous architecture, hardware rule-based system architecture can reduce the number of constraints on rule representations and combinations of condition terms in rules. The modified content addressable memory, crossbar switch network and pre-processing module are used for reducing constraints. Using SystemC for description can provide easy modification of system configuration later.

Investigation of health and safety impact from the 'Site BIM' tools in the live construction sites

  • Construction in the UK is the second most dangerous industry in terms of fatal and minor injuries according to the 2014 report of HSE. The use of mobile devices such as iPad, Tablets and Smart phones on the live construction projects is also on the increase in the UK due to the 2016 - Level 2 BIM (Building Information Modelling) implementation target, set by the UK Government. Hence, the use of such devices may become a distraction from work activities on the construction sites and will cause a major risk to the end users. The subject of improving safety of BIM use is widely researched, but there is a gap in knowledge about the actual use of the mobile devices and perception of 'Site BIM', on the construction site activities. The main gap identified in the 'Site BIM' is the health and safety aspect of using such devices on the construction sites. A safer way of working with such devices needs to be identified to avoid any potential site hazards and fatalities before the widespread use of the devices are found on the construction projects. In that context, the paper is aimed to highlight the safety issues that are required to address for the successful implementation of the mobile devices for safer use of the 'Site BIM'. Questionnaire survey was used to collect the site information among construction professionals in the UK. The survey findings suggested that a proactive approach may be helpful to stop potential hazards and risks causing by the use of mobile devices and potential measures need to be identified before any injuries and incidents occur. The paper concludes that training, changing size of mobile devices and ensuring a separate induction training for 'Site BIM' tools will improve the health and safety of the end users of the mobile devices at the live construction sites.

The Analysis of Researches on the Brain-based Teaching and Learning for Elementary Science Education (초등과학교육에의 적용을 위한 뇌-기반 학습 연구의 교육적 의미 분석)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze 181 papers about brain-based learning appeared in domestic scientific journals from 1989 to May of 2012 and suggest application conditions in elementary science education. The results of this study summarizes as follows; First, learning activity suggested by brain-based learning study is mainly explained by working of brain function. Learning activity explained by brain-based learning study are divided into 'learning according to specialized brain function, learning according to brain function integration and learning beyond specialization and integration of hemispheres'. Second, it searched how increased knowledge of brain structure and function affects learning. Analysis from this point of view suggests that brain-based learning study affects learning in many ways especially emotion, creativity and learning motivation. Third, brain-based learning study suggests various possibilities of learning activity reflecting brain plasticity. Plasticity which is one of most important characteristics of brain supports the validity of learning activity as learning disorder treatment and explains the possibility of selective increment of brain function by leaning activity and the need of whole-brain approach to learning activity. Fourth, brain-based learning brought paradigm shifts in education field. It supports learning sophistication on the understanding of student's learning activity, guides learning method that reflects the characteristics of subject and demands reconstruction of curriculum. Fifth, there are many conditions to apply brain-based learning in elementary science education field, learning environment that fits brain-based learning, change of perspectives on teaching and learning of science educators and development of brain-based learning curriculum are needed.

Factors Affecting Radiation Protection Behaviors among Emergency Room Nurses (응급실 간호사의 방사선 방어행위 영향요인)

  • Purpose : This study aimed to examine factors affecting radiation protective behaviors among emergency room nurses by assessing knowledge, attitude, and environment for radiation protection. Methods : The study employed a cross-sectional design. Subjects were a convenience sample of 129 nurses working in emergency rooms of three general hospitals. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires and analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression. Results : The more the nurses received radiation safety education (t=2.26, p=.026), used protective gear (t=4.40, p<.001), and took health screenings (t=2.65, p=.009), the higher their levels of radiation protection behavior. There were significant relations between radiation protective behaviors and attitude (r=.27, p=.002), and radiation protective behaviors and environment for radiation protection (r=.55, p<.001). The factors affecting radiation protective behaviors were protective environment (β=.53, p<.001), protective attitude (β=.32, p<.001), and the use of protective gear (β=.24, p=.002). Conclusions : The government, hospital administrators, and radiation protection-related organization should adopt the following measures to protect emergency room nurses from radiation: research and development of shield instrument, medical examination for emergency room nurses, protocol development of radiation protection behaviors, extension of education chances of radiation protection, and encouraging the use of protective equipment.

A Qualitative Inquiry Into the Challenges of Medical Education for Retention of General Practitioners in Rural and Underserved Areas of Iran

  • Objectives: General practitioners (GPs) retention in rural and underserved areas highly effects on accessibility of healthcare facilities across the country. Education seems to be a critical factor that affects GPs retention. Thus, the present study aimed at inquiry into medical education challenges that limit their retention in rural and underserved areas. Methods: A qualitative approach was applied for the aim of this study. Data were gathered via 28 semi-structured interviews with experts at different levels of Iran's health system as well as GPs who retained and refused to retain working in rural settings. Interviews mainly were performed face-to-face and in some cases via telephone during 2015 and then coded and analyzed using content analysis approach. Results: Iran's medical education is faced with several challenges that were categorized in four main themes including student selection, medical students' perception about their field of study, education setting and approach, curriculum of medical education. According to experts this challenges could results in making GP graduates disinterested for practicing in rural and underserved areas. Conclusions: Challenges that were found could have negative effects on retention. Modification in student's perception about rural practice could be done via changing education setting and approach and curriculum. These modifications could improve GPs retention in rural and underserved areas.

The Actual Conditions and Recognition of Dietary Life Education in Elementary School after Execution of the Dietary Life Education Support Act (식생활교육지원법 실시 이후 초등학교 식생활 교육 실태 및 인식)

  • The goal of this study was to provide basic data for the future development of dietary life education in elementary schools by understanding the current conditions of the program after the execution of the Dietary Life Education Support Act. We conducted a survey to understand dietary teachers' recognition of dietary life education in elementary schools. We found that teachers' recognition was low and that dietary life education in elementary schools is still carried out indirectly by focusing on nutrition knowledge. Dietary life education is carried out during lunch time and dietary life-related class hours. However teachers of lower class levels did not have any practical subject related to dietary life and responded that a lack of time devoted to dietary life education was the biggest problem with the program. Most teachers responded that dietary life education in elementary schools is necessary for the formation of students' sound dietary habits, and that the development of a system of teachers directly responsible for dietary life education is necessary. In the past, dietary life education has typically been carried out at home, but now schools are required to play a role because of family nuclearization and the increase in working couples. Therefore, to revitalize dietary life education programs in elementary schools according to the Dietary Life Education Support Act, we suggest more systematic and segmentalized studies.

A Study on Development of Operation Evaluation Index for Safety Management System Using AHP (AHP를 이용한 안전관리체제 운영평가지표 개발에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the index for operation evaluation index for safety management system that can be facilitated as the assessment tool for system operation monitoring and operation outcome and the safety management system of shipping companies has been developed. By using this index, this study may provide the instruction or consultation for frequent facilitation by comprehensively recording the required knowledge for each operation stage for the companies that prepares the introduction of the safety management system and companies that already introduced the system to maintain and develop the system. In addition, when working on internal audit and assessing the system operation outcome, it may be facilitated as the assessment tool to contribute in continuous improvement and development. This index is consisted of 11 large categories, 35 items of medium categories and 447 small categories.

  • This study is to develop a curriculum for training workers in the port logistics field. NSC is a standardized method improving the capability and knowledge scientifically and systematically in order for individual to carry out its own job and task successfully. To develop a curriculum for workers in the port logistics field, the following methodology is used. First, questionnaire is carried out. Second, a MECE method is used to draw out a proper education programme. This study can contribute to improving the job capability of employers working at the port logistics industry. Further, it can improve firms' competitive power and furthermore national competitive edge by introducing the filed-oriented training programme to port logistics industry. In the future, a developed education is to be applied and evaluated through more intensified industry, academy, research linkage.
