스퍼터링법을 이용한 OLED용 Al 전극의 제작 (Preparing of the AI electrode for OLED by Sputtering Methode)

  • In this study Al electrode for OLED was deposited by FTS(Facing Targets Sputtering) system which can deposit thin films with low substrate damage. The Al thin films were deposited on the cell(LiF/EML/HTL/Bottom electrode) as a function of working gas such as Ar, Kr or mixed gas. Also Al thin films were prepared with working gas pressure (1, 6 mTorr ). The film thickness and I-V curve of Al/cell were evaluated by $\alpha$-step and semiconductor parameter (HP4156A) measurement. In the results, when Al thin film were deposited using pure Ar gas, the turn-on voltage of Al/cell was about 11[V]. And the turn-on voltage of Al/cell can be decrease to about 7[V].

Prediction of coal and gas outburst risk at driving working face based on Bayes discriminant analysis model

  • With the coal mining depth increasing, both stress and gas pressure rapidly enhance, causing coal and gas outburst risk to become more complex and severe. The conventional method for prediction of coal and gas outburst adopts one prediction index and corresponding critical value to forecast and cannot reflect all the factors impacting coal and gas outburst, thus it is characteristic of false and missing forecasts and poor accuracy. For the reason, based on analyses of both the prediction indicators and the factors impacting coal and gas outburst at the test site, this work carefully selected 6 prediction indicators such as the index of gas desorption from drill cuttings Δh2, the amount of drill cuttings S, gas content W, the gas initial diffusion velocity index ΔP, the intensity of electromagnetic radiation E and its number of pulse N, constructed the Bayes discriminant analysis (BDA) index system, studied the BDA-based multi-index comprehensive model for forecast of coal and gas outburst risk, and used the established discriminant model to conduct coal and gas outburst prediction. Results showed that the BDA - based multi-index comprehensive model for prediction of coal and gas outburst has an 100% of prediction accuracy, without wrong and omitted predictions, can also accurately forecast the outburst risk even for the low indicators outburst. The prediction method set up by this study has a broad application prospect in the prediction of coal and gas outburst risk.

  • 가스배관 종류 및 사용 환경에 따른 거시적 파괴거동 평가해석을 위하여 1) 가스배관의 특성 및 환경에 따른 파괴거동 변화의 컴퓨터해석과 2) Battelle Two-Curve Method를 이용한 연속연성파괴거동 평가해석을 수행하였다. 새로운 사용환경의 가스와 오일의 배관계획이 진행되면서, 개선된 성능, 신뢰성, 그리고 경제성을 위한 재료가 요구되고 있다. 여기서 제시되는 연속연성파괴 해석은 높은 배관압력, 큰 배관직경과 같은 배관 특성의 변화와 천연가스와 같이 다양한 성분을 함유하는 가스, 수소가스, 액화 이산화탄소 등과 같이 다양한 수송매체의 변화를 수용하기 위한 배관시스템에서 고려하여야 할 중요한 기술요소이다.

휴대용 부탄 가스 레인지의 안전성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Safety of Portable Butane Gas Range)

  • This study was conducted an experiment for the thermal flow mechanism of the surrounding butane gas can and pressure change in butane can with oversized cookware. And numerical analysis was performed to analyze the process of heat transfer around butane can. Effect of radiant heat from small size cookware is very small. Thus small size cookware does not have a significant impact on the butane gas range safety. But radiant heat of oversized cookware is larger than small size cookware. Therefore it gives an adverse effect on the butane can. And when internal pressure of butane can is greater than about 406.8~447.2 kPa, a safety device of portable butane gas range were working. The causes of safety device working is because of trivet height. Trivet height is lowered, the radiant heat is increased. This radiant heat is to raise pressure of inside butane can. Experimental and numerical analysis results, the lower thermal conductivity of the cookware is greater the effects of radiant heat.

엔진 배기열 이용 유기랭킨사이클에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Research on an Organic Rankine Cycle Using Engine Exhaust Gas)

  • 본 연구에서는 산업용 가스 엔진의 배기 폐열을 회수하여 발전하는 유기랭킨사이클을 구성하고 시스템 성능 분석 실험을 수행하였다. 엔진 배기가스 열을 작동유체(냉매 R134a)에 흡수시키기 위해 Shell & Tube 방식 열교환기를 엔진 배기 매니폴드 후단에 장착하였다. 엔진출력 60 kW인 조건에서 약 63 kW의 배기가스 열을 배출하였으며, 열교환기를 통해 작동유체에 흡수된 열량은 43~46 kW로서 배기가스 열회수율은 68~73%, 최대출력은 4.6 kW로서 배기가스 열량에 대한 최대출력의 비는 7.3%을 나타내었다.

  • 고효율 가스흡수식 냉방기를 위한 신 작동매체로 기존의 $LiBr-H_2O$ 용액에 $LiNO_3$, LiCl, LiI 성분을 첨가하여 4성분 용액을 제조하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 제조된 4성분계의 작동매체에 대한 용해도와 증기압을 측정하여 기존의 $LiBr-H_2O$계와 비교 분석하였으며, 이들에 대한 최적혼합 몰비를 각각 구하였다. 용해도 측면에서 $LiBr-LiNO_3-LiCl$계는 5:1:1~2, $LiBr-LiNO_3-LiCl$계는 5:1:1, LiBr-LiI-LiCl계의 경우 5:1:0.5~1로 나타났다. 한편 $LiBr-LiNO_3-LiCl-H_2O$계를 제외하고 모두 증기압이 $LiBr-H_2O$계에 비해 높게 나타났다. $LiBr-LiNO_3-LiCl-H_2O$계를 이용한 흡수성능 실험시 $LiBr-H_2O$계 보다 우수한 특성을 지녔다.

열량형 질량 유량계의 성능 평가 (A Study on the Performance of Thermal Mass Flowmeter)

  • Thermal mass flow meter(TMF) and thermal mass flow controller(MFC) were used to measure and to control the mass flow rate of gases. TMF and MFC were designed for specified working pressure and gas. For the case of different working pressure and gases, the flow rate measurement accuracy decreased dramatically. In this study, a TMF and MFC was tested with three different gases and pressure range from 0.2 MPa up to 1.0 MPa. Effect of specific heat causes to increase flow measurement error as much as ratio of specific heat compared with reference gas. Changing of pressure causes to increase flow rate measurement error about -0.2% as the working pressure decreased 0.1 MPa. Response time of MFC was below 3.12 s for the case of increasing of flow rate. But the response time was increased up to 6.92 s for the case of decreasing of flow rate. When the solenoid valve was fully closed, a initial delay time of output of MFC was increased up to 1.36 s.

바이어스 조건하에서 증착한 a-C:H 박막을 이용한 액정 배향 효과 (LC Alignment Effects using a-C:H Thin Film as Working Gas at Bias Condition)

  • We studied the nematic liquid crystal (NLC) aligning capabilities using the new alignment material of a-C:H thin film as working gas at 30W rf bias condition. A high pretilt angle of about $5^{\circ}$ by ion beam(IB) exposure on the a-C:H thin film surface was measured. A good LC alignment by the IB alignment method on the a-C:H thin film surface was observed at annealing temperature of $250^{\circ}C$, and the alignment defect of the NLC was observed above annealing temperature of $300^{\circ}C$. Consequently, the high LC pretilt angle and the good thermal stability of LC alignment by the IB alignment method on the a-C:H thin film surface as working gas at 30W rf bias condition can be achieved.

  • As preparing electrode for the OLED with the sputtering process, in order to be lower damage of the bottom organic layer and increase the life-time of the OLED, we prepared Al electrode for that by using Facing Targets Sputtering (FTS) system. Al electrode directly deposited on the cell (LiF/EML/HTL/Bottom electrode). Deposition condition was the working gas (Ar, Kr and Ar+Kr) and working gas pressure (1 and 6 mTorr). The film thickness and I-V curve of Al/cell were evaluated by a $\acute{a}$-step profiler and a semiconductor parameter (HP4156A) measurement. The thin film surface image was observed by a Atomic Force Microscope (AFM). In result, in comparison with about 11 [V] of the turn-on voltage of Al/cell with using the pure Ar gas, when Al thin film was deposited using the Ar-Kr mixture gas, the surface morphology was improved in some region and the turn-on voltage of Al/cell could be decreased to about 7 [V].

폐기물 소각시설 굴뚝의 배기가스를 이용한 유기랭킨사이클 시스템의 열역학적 해석 (Thermodynamic Analysis on Organic Rankine Cycle Using Exhaust Gas of the Chimney in a Resource Recovery Facility)

  • 폐기물 소각시설 굴뚝의 배기가스를 측정하여 활용 가능한 폐열의 양과 질을 확인한 바 그 양과 온도는 13.8kg/s, $176.6^{\circ}C$ 정도였다. 본 연구에서는 R-245fa를 작동유체로 하는 소각폐열회수 유기랭킨사이클(Organic Rankine Cycle: ORC) 발전시스템을 설계하고 다음과 같이 3가지 사례조건들을 시뮬레이션을 하였다. 기본 ORC 시스템에 따른 시뮬레이션에서는 출력과 총효율이 각각 96.56kW, 14.13% 임을 확인하였다. 과열기 추가에 따른 시뮬레이션에서는 작동유체 과열에 따른 엔탈피 증가로 0.09%의 출력상승을 얻을 수 있었으나, 작동유체의 감소로 16.58kW 만큼 적은 출력을 보였다. 그리고 공정열교환기 추가에 따른 시뮬레이션에서는 남은 배기가스의 열을 공정열수를 생산하여 총효율 38.51%까지 향상시켰다.
