Analysis of risky behavior factors for workers in the manufacturing industry enables effective human error prevention and systemization of an efficient safety management system. This study examines the relationship between the effects of workers' work psychology, work environment, and work deviation factors on risky behavior intentions and the effects of such risky behavior intentions on risky behaviors. Among the small and medium-sized manufacturing industries, the analysis was focused on a survey of 80 workers in the manufacturing and processing industry. Looking at the results, it was found that work psychology and work deviation had an effect on the intention of risky behavior, but the work environment factors corresponding to job satisfaction and workload did not affect the intention of risky behavior. The relationship with colleagues, the degree of satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the job, the degree of importance of the job that the worker feels, and the tightness of time to digest a large amount of work do not affect intentionally inducing dangerous work, but they do affect risky behavior. In the absence of intention, the work environment factor was found to accompany dangerous behavior.
The purpose of this research is to suggest the promotive directions of Quality Circle activity. Since 1975, variety of organizations in Korea have widely the implemented Quality Circle activities for their management systems. Today, Companies are facing the harsh realities of a competitive environment. This is no time for revolutionary change. Instead, Companies are instituting revolutionary change meant to have impact within a very short time frame. The Worker's Quality Circle activity is, essentially, a trouble shooting oriented voluntary small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. The industries have enthusiastically used Quality Circle activities and were influenced from them. The Quality Circle activities can be regarded as a kind of Knowledge Management where new knowledge is created and knowledge is shared in the economy. However, the academics were less interested in this subject, as a result, there were no systematic guidances for Quality Circle activities. Also, the government was less interested in these activities, as a result, there were no systematic policy making for Quality Circle activities. Thus, in this research, the promotive directions for Quality Circle activities were suggested which were based on the results of survey Questionnaires presented to promoters of the domestic companies. As a results of this research, to maximize the effect of TQM(Total Quality Management) in the nationwide, Quality Circle activity as a bottom-up management should be more expanded and revitalized.
The purpose of this study is to investigate work environment and job satisfaction of dental hygienists. The survey had collected 373 dental hygienists in Daegu and Gyeongsangbuk-do areas. The results were as follow; 1. The overall average of job satisfaction was 3.30. 2. Differences in the general characteristics and job satisfaction were significantly high with high age, high educational level and high work experience for married people. It was also significantly high when people worked in Gyeongsangbuk-do rather than in Daegu. 3. Differences in work environment and job satisfaction were significantly high in large size of the hospital, patient management and consultation services rather than assistance, monthly salary rather than annular salary, the presence of training opportunity and benefit for long-term worker, and more other vacations and annual vacations. 4. The influence factors of general characteristics on job satisfaction were education, work area and marriage in order ($R^2$=0.092). 5. The influence factors of work environment on job satisfaction were training opportunities, benefit for long-term worker, size of hospital, area of work and incentives in order($R^2$=0.092). From the above results, in order to improve job satisfaction of dental hygienists require a reasonable working environment considering the realistic situation improved.
The purpose of this study was to identify convergence factors related to glycemic control in workers with diabetes mellitus. A secondary data analysis was conducted using the data of "The Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, 2009-2013." The survey included 44,085 adults aged over 19 under 65 years with diabetes mellitus and 764 samples with worker were used for this study. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS 18.0 program and descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlations, and multiple regression analyses were performed. The general characteristics variables shown statistically significant difference between the good and the poor glycemic control group was gender. The Health behavior-related and disease-related variables shown statistically significant difference between the good and the poor glycemic control group were diabetes mellitus duration, diabetes mellitus treatment, hypertension diagnosis, smoking, moderate physical activity, walking exercise practice. Factors related to glycemic control were gender, diabetes mellitus treatment, walking exercise practice. These findings suggest that researchers need more active treatment and walking exercise as important factors affecting glycemic control of Korean worker with diabetes mellitus and intervention focusing on the issues needs to be developed in workplace environment.

We investigated how entrepreneurship, information technology acceptance, and media utilization influence on office worker commitment and how effects are modulated by learning orientation. The purpose of this study is to identify variables that influence on office worker commitment. To do so, entrepreneurship, information technology acceptance, and media utilization that are the core competencies of individuals and organizations in the era of smart information are proposed as predictor variables, office worker commitment as a outcome variable and learning orientation as a modulator. For this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on office workers, and finally 340 valid questionnaires are used for analysis. Hierarchical regression analysis is used with demographic characteristics as control variables and learning orientation as a modulating variables. A result showed that the higher need for achievement and proactiveness of entrepreneurship is, the higher job commitment is and that the perceived usefulness of information technology acceptance and communication utilization ability of media utilization competitiveness have a positive effect on job commitment. A research showed that learning orientation is modulating the relationship between entrepreneurship and job commitment, and between media utilization capability and job commitment, respectively. We concluded that we should actively seek synergies of learning orientation along with accumulation of online communication utilization capacity and perceived usefulness of information technology, and of proactiveness need for achievement and in entrepreneurship in order to improve the work committment in the smart information society where the digital environment is advanced.
Now a days in our society, occupation boundaries have become blurred, and come into the limelight in the prior occupation or miss about new workplace. Medical area is no exception also, So we face urgent problem about protecting and spreading RT work-sphere simultaneously. This research allow to identify on RT role area of digital environment that is obscure profession-realm specially, and open up a new field hereafter. We examined present RT role area of digital environment in the more than thirty medical facility(general or university hospital) through questionnaire/visit survey from PACS administrator. Survey sentence comprises total 29 sentence over all main quadrisection-(eX. hospital formation & treatment state and PACS team composition & organization and PACS team workplace and PACS team daily workload), We performed comparative analysis in general contents perspectively. further more, divided main 5 section based on upper analysis and then manufactured output in consideration of each medical facility's operation state. There are comparative problem of hospital policy, So we maintained information security of each facility exhaustively. First, we separated a survey output into main 5 section as follows-(eX. PACS server & maintenance manage, Client/interlock manage, PACS data conversion, 3D reconstruction, PACS data im/export)-that received by 35 medical facility. And then manufactured output with comparative analysis about RT role area each section, general IT managing team about medical environment was out of existence that fill up with RT manpower in the surveyed medical facility consequently. What is worse, hospitals that entirely fill up with another worker were 3 place amazingly. Our specific statistic results show, the respondents was 63% that agree with reorganization of formation base on independence team, and supplement of the personnel average -continuous with upper agreement simply-was about 2.64. Further more, if reorganization break out with only RT manpower, quota TO will increase by geometric progression. Protecting and spreading role workplace is much accounted of the our inevitable project surely and more than 95% PACS administrator's have confidence in this proposition unconditionally. This paper investigates how family-friendly the working environments of Korean community welfare centers are and analyze work-life balance of married female social workers. We conducted a mix-method exploiting survey and interviews in community welfare centers in four provinces (Seoul, Kyonggi, Kangwon and Kyongsang). 82 participants were involved in the survey and 10 in the in-depth interview. According to our analysis, the take up rate of maternity leave was comparatively high while flexible working hours and parental leave were substantially low. Working atmosphere of the center, difficulties in hiring replacements and peer pressure were found to be related to the low take up rates. Also the working hours and concentration of work in certain periods negatively effected work-life balance satisfaction. Lastly, we found a high need for welfare service related to child care provided by community welfare centers where participants-female social workers- worked at.
The purpose of this study is to identify the overall occupational safety and health status and the characteristics of the workers engaged in the field of the film and television artists, and to take appropriate measures to prevent industrial accidents, profession and working environment, safety recognition and education, safety activities, accident experience, and job stress survey. Survey using a structured questionnaire is to be used for 302 worker directly interview research. Safety awareness level of himself or herself was "middle level" of 3.1 points. Those of colleagues and the general public were evaluated to be low as 2.8 points and 2.5 points, respectively. During the last 12 months, 4.6% of total workers have received an industrial safety health education for work-related accident or disease. Regarding cases of having experienced work-related accident or having been exposed to work-related disease over the past 1 year, 20.2% of total respondents have experienced accident. 16.2% of total respondents have experienced work-related disease. And the workers are approximately one's own subjective feeling of physical symptoms that have appeared. In addition, the film sector workers in particular occupations men than women have higher job stress. Preventive education for industrial safety is required to be expanded and strengthened. Safety education is urgently required in order to prevent, and to reduce accident. Safety and health guideline is required to be developed and disseminated in order to prevent accident in advance. Finally, the actor and their staff members to reduce the stress, mental health care and education carefully needs to be in parallel. Also, when taking measures to reinforce safe work environment, it needs to be protected.
Exactly 25 years after the Chernobyl nuclear disaster, 11th of March 2011 the Fukushima nuclear accident occurred in Japan and was ranked at level 7 same to the Chernobyl. A Korean and Japanese joint civil survey was conducted around Fukushima on April 13-17. The radiation survey data clearly shows a large hotspot area between 20 km and 50 km radius north and west direction from the accident reactors, with the highest radiation recorded being 55.64 ${\mu}Sv/hr$ in the air, 99.89 ${\mu}Sv/hr$ in the surface air, and 36.16 ${\mu}Sv/hr$ in a car, respectively. 3.65 ${\mu}Sv/hr$ in the air and 6.89 ${\mu}Sv/hr$ in the surface air were detected at the playground of an elementary school in Fukushima City. Spring came with full cherry blossoms in Fukushima, but it was silent spring of radiation contamination. Interviews with Fukushima nuclear refugees reveal serious problems about Japanese nuclear safety systems, such as there was no practical evacuation drill within 1-10 km and no plan at all for 10-30 km areas. Several reforms items for Korean nuclear safety system can be suggested: minimization of accident damage, clear separation of regulatory and safety bureaus with a new and independent administrating agency, community participation and agreement regarding the safety system and levels, which is the major concern of 80% Korean. To tackle threats of nuclear disaster in neighboring nations like China, a new position entitled 'Ambassador for nuclear safety diplomacy' is highly necessary. The nuclear safety of Korea should no longer be the monopoly of those nuclear engineers and limited technocrats criticized as a 'nuclear mafia'.

Objectives: This study was designed to investigate the current status of the association of job-related information such as employment status, workplace environment, and hazard material exposures with health examination outcomes. Methods: The study used data from KNHANES 2007-2009 representing the three years of 2007-2009, which was conducted annually using a rolling sampling design that involved a complex, stratified, multistage, probability-cluster survey of a representative sample of the non-institutionalized civilian population in Korea. The final analytical sample consisted of 17,240 participants. Information on age, education, smoking history and alcohol intake was collected during the health interview. Job related information consisted of employment status, workplace environment, and hazardous material exposure. The selected indices of health examination were blood pressure, fasting glucose, blood cholesterol, HDL, SGOT, SGPT, and BUN. Results: In multiple logistic regression analysis using hypertension and pre-hypertension as dependent variables and job related categories as independent variables after covariate adjustments, the odds of hypertension and pre-hypertension were significantly lower in those with responsibility and power in their job activities. Interestingly, low odds for hypertension were observed among those who reported that their jobs were fast-paced. Conclusions: This study confirmed that some job-related categories in employment status, workplace environment, and hazardous material exposure had an association with health outcome status. It is worthwhile to comment that high responsibility and power in job activities were revealed as one of the important favorable factors to improve health condition of workers.
