This study proposes a rigid-body tracking based virtual avatar application method to increase the social presence and provide various experiences of virtual reality(VR) users in an immersive virtual environment. The proposed method estimates the motion of a virtual avatar through inverse kinematics based on real-time rigid-body tracking based on motion capture using markers. Through this, it aims to design a highly immersive virtual environment with simple object manipulation in the real world. Science experiment educational contents are produced to experiment and analyze applications related to immersive virtual environments through virtual avatars. In addition, audiovisual education, full-body tracking, and the proposed rigid-body tracking method were compared and analyzed through survey. In the proposed virtual environment, participants wore VR HMDs and conducted a survey to confirm immersion and educational effects from virtual avatars performing experimental educational actions from estimated motions. As a result, through the method of utilizing virtual avatars based on rigid-body tracking, it was possible to induce higher immersion and educational effects than traditional audiovisual education. In addition, it was confirmed that a sufficiently positive experience can be provided without much work for full-body tracking.
To be an adjunct professor(gyeomgyosu) literally means to act as an instructor while also holding a different position. Adjunct professors were initially introduced under Confucianism. Gradually, technical offices also appointed adjunct professors using Confucian-educated bureaucrats for the purpose of educating lower-level technical officials and cadets. This paper examines the history of the civil service system related to adjunct professors through the Code of Laws, and examines those who have been appointed to the public office described in various documents. This paper argues that changes in the medical office's adjunct professor system reflect changes in the national medical talent training policy. The main basis of specific recognizing medical personnel is to decouple the appointment of Confucian scholars from that of full-time doctors. The replacement of the role of medical educators from Confucian scholars to full-time doctors was largely accomplished during the reign of King Jungjong(中宗) and was completed during the period of King Injo(仁祖). The time when Euiyakdongcham was created and the Office of Euiyakdongcham was established coincided with the period when the adjunct professor was disrupted in the medical office. However, this change in the adjunct professor system of medical authorities is in contrast to interpretation, which is a representative technical field. In the case of interpretation, Moonshin's sayeogwon position as adjunct professor was maintained even in the late Joseon Dynasty, and apart from this, there was a hanhagmunsin in Seungmunwon. Interpreter families had institutional arrangements that prevented them from making interpretation their own monopoly. Therefore, families of medical bureaucrats had more room for institutional growth than those of bureaucratic interpreters. Of course, these institutional devices did not prevent the growth of interpreting bureaucratic families in the late Joseon Dynasty. However, the situation in which medicine was accepted only as a kind of knowledge, not as an object of full-time work for sadaebue, would have been an opportunity to rise for those in technical jobs who were full-time medicine. As medicine became more differentiated and developed in the late Joseon Dynasty, medical knowledge and the knowledge about the medical profession became more important. The politicians could not avoid the use of a philosophically oriented system in which a confucian-educated bureaucrat equipped with only Confucian knowledge might replace a full-time doctor. Thus, the contradiction between the reality and the ideal of ignoring or denying reality was reproduced like other Confucian-centered societies. These contradictions have implications for us living in the modern age. Establishing the relationship between philosophy (or belief) and technology should not end with the superiority of one side or the other.

The character of the educational tradition of Germany could be divided into two aspects. One is the humanistic liberal tendency and the other is vocational. From the beginning of the Twentieth Century, however, there has been an attempt to unify these two trends by the . Georg Kerschensteiner is the first of importance to make some comprehensive curriculum for this goal. In Kerschensteiner, the genuine education makes the individual assume his work and role in society, and to develop them by cultivating insight, will and power. His view is well expressed in the slogn "The vocational education is the beginning of the humanistic education." His goal is to make men of independence and autonomy through vocational education. The theory of Kerschensteiner's education is called 'general vocational education'. The reason why is that his vocational education concerns not just technical training for industry, but also general liberal arts. In this point, Kerschensteiner's point of view goes back to Wilhelm von Humboldt, neo-humanist afar in the first half of the Ninteenth Century, and to John Dewey, pragmatist in the contemporary age of Kerschensteiner. Kerschensteiner was much influenced by Humboldt's concepts of power and individuality. These concepts came to be embodied as a principle of vocational education in Kerschensteiner. Furthermore, Humboldt's concept of power could be associated with Dewey's theory of reflexive thinking. The power in Humboldt is to create spirit, which is connected with the world outside through language. The reflexive thinking of Dewey is a process that examines and selects some alternative thinking in the consciousness before acting. This process makes one find the method of problem-solving which results in behaviour. That is the experimental spirit or pragmatic behaviourism. These theories are reduced to the concept of 'work' in Kerschensteiner. And Kerschensteiner's theory of education that has both sides, humanistic and vocational, is similar to that of John Dewey. Dewey brings forward the idea that the vocational education is the best way to cultivate intelligence and emotion, as intelligence operates best in the life. The position of Dewey is in accord with that of Kerschensteiner who intends to cover experiences of various fields of society through practice-learning, and to have knowledge got from outside of school, refuting the misled trend of education isolated from real life. However, there is some difference between Kerschensteiner and Humbolt or Dewey. While the Neo-humanism of Humbolt and the pragmatic education of Dewey put emphasis rather on the liberal arts and culture of individuality, Kerschensteiner is concerned more with the work and life of the reality of society as a group. Kerschensteiner's concept of utility is related to education for the whole man and to the work of the individual and the nation as well as the will and power to practice it. The ideal man of utility of Kerschensteiner is to learn perfectly the value and behaviour of society through vocational life and to have right view of the state establishing a sound mutual relation between individual and state. Kerschensteiner is regarded as a devotee of 'the state of harmony' or 'the ideal of the state', as he makes the state as the criterion for defining the role of the individual. It can be said that Kerschensteiner is not a democrat of the American style as Dewey is, as he makes much of the value of the nation and state. However, he is a humanist and democrat in the point of vocational education. His purpose of education is to make whole men through work and vocational education.

This study examined Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s lineage, life, ChimGuTaekllPeonJip(鍼灸擇日編集) and SikRyoChanYo(食療纂要)'s subjectmedical history. Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s position underestimated that it's associated with the reality of politics in the early years of the Joseon dynasty medical history. Accordingly, Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s the healing art and studies remain poorly characterized. To understand the role of Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s studies, we examined that his lineage and life. We made a complete translation Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s ChimGuTaekllPeonJip(鍼灸擇日編集) introduction and confirmed importance alternative choice in the practice of acupuncture and moxibustion. We also identified that SikRyoChanYo(食療纂要) introduced hothouse methods using Korean paper and ondol, food store and fish store methods. is not too much to say that this book is one of the diet of our time. These results demonstrated that Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s life and literary work feel keenly the necessity of study in korea medical history. Because of the actual politics place estimate, Cheon SunEui(全循義)'s life and science underestimate. However, his books excavated. Old values cut red tape, following studied realized about his medical art and medical ideas.

This study was conducted to examine the effects of the elderly patient's simulation experience on attitudes toward elderly and elderly patients, and empathy of elderly patients among nursing students. Study results showed that elderly patient's simulation experience did not have significant effects on attitudes toward elderly or elderly patients, whereas it had significant effect on enhancing the empathy on elderly patients. The subjects of experimental group indicated that the factors decreasing the effect of intervention are single event of experience, raising aging anxiety, lack of the reality of simulation clothing, and risk of accident during simulation experience, etc. In order to maximize the positive effects of the elderly patient's simulation program, it is necessary to find a way to improve those limiting factors identified from this study, and to continue to work on positive effects of elderly simulation applied for their curriculum.
The wages of migrant workers about the rational discrimination and equal treatment have been treated partially. Foreign workers are also discussed in terms of the productivity and rational discrimination, but it is very limited. The Business community has been persisting that the minimum wage system for foreign workers should be excluded. Unlike local workers, migrant workers are relatively in that position with limited work place, a limited period of time to provide labor for the purpose of wage, in that points, the gap of the reality and the laws surrounding wages can be identified. This is expressed the conflicts and distress between employers and workers. Meanwhile, wages and equal treatment on the part of the study have been discussed, but it is hard to be organized clearly. Be related to this study, it will have a limitation. In this paper, since the employment permit system was enforced, the status of wages and distress and the factor of conflicts between the employer and the foreign worker examine and suggest the improvement plan for the law regarding wage.
This study used the qualitative research for deeply interviewing Chinese-Koreans who live and work in Dearim-dong area, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, collectively. The variation of recognition to the local community at the migration early and the present and their response for overcoming their pending issues are studied through this, To understand the reality and conflict they encounter, the effort for overcoming the pending issues, the inner change of their own community, their fixed direction and so on becomes the core variables for integrating them to our society. They have formed the enormous cluster and have been already developed as the minority group. They are doing 'the struggle for recognition' for being recognized from the dominant group and trying to approach the politics for overcoming the inferiority of power. Accordingly, the intervention of social welfare to this minority group should be a more active working to protect the fragmentation of our society which can be resulted from the increasing influx of the foreigners and be also an approach to mutual enlightenment for making our society adapt to the phenomena of multi-nations and multi-cultures and for accepting them as the population.
In this study, a conceptual study was performed for the leisure boat simulator used for navigation training. The aim of this work was to secure the basic operational capability of a leisure boat as a simulated driving device for a general novice operator. A leisure boat simulator was designed to support a user more efficiently regarding navigation proficiency and safety training, as well as to minimize the limitation of place and time and it conveniently and cheaply. A cockpit for navigation status display and operational input, 3D visualization graphic device, and parallel display device were designed to give the trainee a maximum sense of reality by applying a motion platform with six degree of freedom, in which disturbance movement such waves, winds, and tide were simulated for the operator. Leisure boat simulator training scenario was developed by analysis of water-related leisure activities act and sea traffic safety act.
This paper examines the characteristics of post-modern self-portrait photography. Characteristics of postmodernism associated with the "loss of centeredness," such as the death of the author, interdisciplinarity, and intertextuality, brought about a number of changes within the self-portrait. The distinction between post-modern and modern self-portraiture can be characterized by the following qualities: appropriation, the use of photography, and the utilization of the human body as an art. The characteristics of post-modern self-portrait photography can be represented through the works of Cindy Sherman, Orlan, and Morimura Yasumasa. By presenting prototypical women in her works, Cindy Sherman not only represents images of those women, but also exposes her fictitious role in the work. She creates a distance between herself in the works and herself in reality and discloses a paternalistic gaze. Meanwhile, Orlan transforms her face into a distorted image and presents it as an alternative identity that is representative of postmodernism. She corrodes the standard concept of identity through plastic surgery and treats the face not as a place where the identity stays, but as a simple body part or fragment of skin. Orlan's post-human face is malleable according to the artist's desire to raise the issue of what the human face is, and opposes the structure of modernism. Morimura Yasumasa also appropriates images from masterpieces and presents a hybrid identity between Eastern and Western, male and female, original and replica, and subject and object. In order to dissect social prejudice, he puts forth every single structural dichotomy that coexists in his self-portrait and suppresses a strong ego. He also studies the relationship between 'seeing' and being 'seen' by trading the painter's role from that of the subject to that of the object.

This paper proposed the design of a new window signage system architecture, which utilized a window of a building, with attached LED for visible light communication. In this paper, the proposed method using the LED strip to transmit light data and receive the data through a HMD with a smart device camera. The LED strip attached to the existing building window, as a part of semi-transparent signage. Semi-transparent signage based on a controllable LED strip-modules and attached to the window used to provide entertainment contents and the information service to people through optical camera communication (OCC) as well. Also, this work suggests using the camera supplied Head Mounted Device (HMD) as an OCC receiver. The LED attached window signage system structure described in this paper can be utilized in various buildings infrastructure like house, shopping areas, industrial building, etc.
