선형열원법에 의한 지중유효열전도도와 보어홀 전열저항 해석 (Analysis of Effective Soil Thermal Conductivities and Borehole Thermal Resistances with a Line Source Method)

  • Investigation of the effective soil thermal conductivity(k) is the first step in designing the ground loop heat exchanger(borehole) of a geothermal heat pump system. The line source method is required by New and Renewable Energy Center of Korea Energy Management Corporation in analyzing data obtained from thermal response tests. Another important factor in designing the ground loop heat exchanger is the borehole thermal resistance($R_b$). There are two methods to evaluate $R_b$ : one is to use a line source method, and the other is to use a shape factor of the borehole. In this study, we demonstrated that the line source method produces better results than the shape factor method in evaluating $R_b$. This is because the borehole thermal resistance evaluated with the line source method characteristically reduces the temperature differences between an actual and a theoretical thermal behaviors of the borehole. Evaluation of $R_b$ requires soil volumetric heat capacity. However, the effect of the soil volumetric heat capacity on the borehole thermal resistance is very small. Therefore, it is possible to use a generally accepted average value of soil volumetric heat capacity($=2MJ/m^3{\cdot}K$) in the analysis. In this work, it is also shown that an acceptable range of the initial ignoring time should be in the range of 8~16hrs. Thus, a mean value of 12 hrs is recommended.

NuSEE: AN INTEGRATED ENVIRONMENT OF SOFTWARE SPECIFICATION AND V&V FOR PLC BASED SAFETYCRITICAL SYSTEMS

  • As the use of digital systems becomes more prevalent, adequate techniques for software specification and analysis have become increasingly important in nuclear power plant (NPP) safety-critical systems. Additionally, the importance of software verification and validation (V&V) based on adequate specification has received greater emphasis in view of improving software quality. For thorough V&V of safety-critical systems, V&V should be performed throughout the software lifecycle. However, systematic V&V is difficult as it involves many manual-oriented tasks. Tool support is needed in order to more conveniently perform software V&V. In response, we developed four kinds of computer aided software engineering (CASE) tools to support system specification for a formal-based analysis according to the software lifecycle. In this work, we achieved optimized integration of each tool. The toolset, NuSEE, is an integrated environment for software specification and V&V for PLC based safety-critical systems. In accordance with the software lifecycle, NuSEE consists of NuSISRT for the concept phase, NuSRS for the requirements phase, NuSDS for the design phase and NuSCM for configuration management. It is believed that after further development our integrated environment will be a unique and promising software specification and analysis toolset that will support the entire software lifecycle for the development of PLC based NPP safety-critical systems.

장애인의 일상생활 어려움에 관한 합의적 질적(CQR) 연구 (Everyday life difficulties of persons with disabilities on quality (CQR) research)

  • 본 연구는 장애인들의 일상생활 경험에서 어려움을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 서울지역 재가 장애인 8명을 심층면접 실시하여 합의적 질적(CQR) 방법으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 3개의 범주에서 14개 영역 및 그에 따른 48개의 내용에 따라 빈도분석을 하였다. 장애인들의 일상생활에서 심리 정서적 경험의 어려움은 자신감 결여, 건강문제 염려, 결혼(재혼) 및 이성문제, 가족관계 어려움, 외로움, 노후문제 염려로 나타났다. 사회 경제적 경험의 어려움은 관계의 어려움, 생계문제, 출산 양육문제, 직장생활 어려움, 외출 시 번거로움으로 나타났다. 이러한 경험들을 대처하는 과정으로는 종교기관 모임, 지역사회체계 이용, 주변사람들의 도움을 이용하였다. 본 연구 결과에 의하여 장애인들이 일상생활에서 어려움을 잘 극복할 수 있도록 실질적인 도움이 되는 사회복지서비스와 지역사회체계를 통하여 지속적인 지원이 필요함을 제언하였다.

가족친화마을만들기를 위한 모델 및 핵심 요소 (A Discussion of the Family-Friendly Village Model and Important Factors)

  • A law facilitating a family-friendly social environment was legislated in December 2007. According to the law, projects for facilitating a family-friendly social environment consisted of a family-friendly working environment, a community environment, and the promotion of a family-friendly culture. There has been much progress in developing a family-friendly working environment through projects such as those advocating for flexible work hours, an employee support system, and child care and a family care support system. However, in terms of a family-friendly community environment project, there was no noticeable advancement. Hence, this study was conducted to find ways to vitalize the family-friendly village project in terms of the family-friendly community environment project. The major findings of this study were as follows: A family-friendly village could be structured on the three axes of time, space, and relation. The model of the family-friendly village project consists of the following three steps: motivation, systematization, and participating & practicing. In the motivation step, integration, community, and sustainability were needed as basic ideologies for a family-friendly village. In the systematization step, providing systematic educational systems for residents taking on leadership and activist roles was stressed. In the participating & practicing step, many ways to facilitate residents' social relationships were suggested: starting the project from matters of common interests, making the resolution of families' problems a communal task of the residents, accepting the opinions of various groups associated with the matter, and taking a differentiated project process according to the geographic, socio-economic, and demographic characteristics of the groups. It is strongly suggested that the family-friendly village should be taken as a common functional scheme in everyone of eight livable village models because a key factor in a family-friendly village, family care, serves an essential function in any livable village model.

민간조사제도 도입시 쟁점에 대한 연구동향 분석 (Research trend analysis of the introduction at the issue of private investigation institution)

  • 이 논문은 그동안 민간조사제도 도입에 관하여 논의되어 왔던 쟁점들에 대한 연구동향을 분석하여 그 시사점을 돌출함으로써, 바람직한 도입 방향을 제시하는데 연구목적을 두고자 한다. 분석한 쟁점들은 민간조사제도 도입에 관한 기존의 연구물들을 대상으로 추출하였다. 연구자들이 지적한 쟁점사항들은 명칭, 업무범위, 법인, 자격제도(자격기준 및 시험), 교육, 협회설립, 감독기관, 입법형태 등 8개의 범주안에 포함된다. 명칭에 대해서는 '탐정'이라는 명칭으로 통일할 필요가 있다고 본다. 업무범위에 대해서는 개정이 어려운 법률에서는 일반적인 업무규정을 개괄적으로 두고, 보다 구체적이고 세부적인 조사업무내용은 시행령을 통하여 규율하는 것이 합리적이라 할 수 있다. 민간조사제도는 법인으로의 제한적 운영이 필요하다고 본다. 교육에 대해서는 민간조사 종사자에 대한 신임교육과 재교육이 정기적으로 이루어져야 한다. 관리감독기관에 대해서 경찰청으로 일원화하여야 한다. 입법형태는 독자적인 법률로 규정하는 것보다는 경비업법의 개정을 통해 민간조사제도에 대하여 보완 규정하는 것이 효과적일 수 있다는 것이다.

A Knowledge-based Model for Semantic Oriented Contextual Advertising

  • Proper and precise embedding of commercial ads within Webpages requires Ad-hoc analysis and understanding of their content. By the successful implementation of this step, both publishers and advertisers gain mutual benefits through increasing their revenues on the one hand, and improving user experience on the other. In this research work, we propose a novel multi-level context-based ads serving approach through which ads will be served at generic publisher websites based on their contextual relevance. In the proposed approach, knowledge encoded in domain-specific and generic semantic repositories is exploited in order to analyze and segment Webpages into sets of contextually-relevant segments. Semantically-enhanced indexes are also constructed to index ads based on their textual descriptions provided by advertisers. A modified cosine similarity matching algorithm is employed to embed each ad from the Ads repository into one or more contextually-relevant segments. In order to validate our proposal, we have implemented a prototype of an ad serving system with two datasets that consist of (11429 ads and 93 documents) and (11000 documents and 15 ads), respectively. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed techniques, we experimentally tested the proposed method and compared the produced results against five baseline metrics that can be used in the context of ad serving systems. In addition, we compared the results produced by our system with other state-of-the-art models. Findings demonstrate that the accuracy of conventional ad matching techniques has improved by exploiting the proposed semantically-enhanced context-based ad serving model.

BIM 기반의 협력적인 건축 설계를 위한 Version Control 시스템 (Version Control System for BIM-based Collaborative Architectural Design)

  • 차세대 3차원 건축설계 기법으로 각광받고 있는 BIM(Building Information Modeling)기술을 기반으로 하는 건축 설계 프로그램 중 대표적인 프로그램으로 Revit 프로그램이 있다. Revit은 정보 입력 측면을 강화시켜 설계 단계에서부터 구성요소의 정보 패밀리라는 오브젝트로 만들어 알기 쉽게 구성 요소를 파악 할 수 있는 프로그램이나, 이 프로그램에서 추출된 도면 출력파일들을 쉽게 비교하는 프로그램이 전무하고, 이로 인하여 협업 시에 수정된 동일 도면들에 대한 변경 내용의 분석이나 도면 정보의 손쉬운 공유가 어려운 점이 문제로 대두되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 Revit을 통한 출력 도면 파일들의 병렬적 협력 작업이 효율적으로 이루어지도록 하기 위하여 동일 도면에 출력 파일들에 대한 버전 관리 시스템의 제안 및 구현을 하였으며 다른 버전 도면 파일들 간의 수정 부분을 검출하기 위한 개선된 KMP알고리듬을 제안한다.

지식경제 기술혁신사업의 평가 전문성 발전 방향: 정보통신산업진흥원 사례 (Developments of Evaluation Expertise of Technology Innovation Program for Knowledge Economy by the Ministry of Knowledge Economy: The Case of the National IT Promotion Agency)

  • 이 연구는 첨단화 융합화 복합화 경향이 특히 강한 정보통신 분야에서의 평가 신뢰성을 높이기 위해서는 평가의 전문성이 획기적으로 제고되어야 한다는 문제의식에서 출발하고 있다. 이를 위해 지식경제 기술혁신사업 중에서 정보통신 분야의 기반구축과 산업 진흥을 담당하는 정보통신산업진흥원의 평가 전문성을 평가자 선정, 평가자 전문성 발휘여건, 평가자의 이력관리라는 전 과정 평가관리의 분석틀을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과는 정보통신산업진흥원의 평가제도는 다른 기관에 비하여 평가자 선정과 평가자의 이력관리는 양호하나, 평가자의 전문성 발휘 여건은 상대적으로 개선과 보완이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 각 분석요소에서의 평가 전문성 향상을 위한 정책대안을 단기와 장기로 분류하여 총 12가지로 논의하였다.

하천망분석도(KRF)의 활용성 증대를 위한 공간데이터 구조 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Redesign of Spatial Data Structure of Korean Reach File for Improving Adaptability)

  • National Institute of Environmental Research (NIER) has developed the Korean Reach File (KRF) for scientific and systematic analysis of variables related to water quality, pollutant sources and aquatic ecosystems in consideration of steam reach networks. The KRF provides a new framework for data production, storage, management and analysis for water related variables in relation to spatial characteristics, connections, and topologies of stream reaches. However, the current version of KRF (ver.2) has limited applicability because its nodes include not only the stream points based on topological characteristics but also those based on water quality monitoring stations, which may undermine its generality. In this study, a new version of KRF (ver.3) was designed and established to overcome the weak point of version 2. The version 3 is a generalization of the old KRF graphic data and it integrates the attribute data while separating it from the graphic data to minimize additional work that is needed for data association and search. We tested the KRF (ver.3) on actual cases and convenience and adaptability for each application was verified. Further research should focus on developing a database link model and real-world applications that are targeted to process event data.

세척과 안정화기술을 적용한 오염 준설토의 처리 및 재활용 시스템 개발 (A Tiered Approach of Washing and Stabilization to Decontaminate and Recycle Dredged River Sediment)

  • Although the demands for the dredging work have been increasing due to social and industrial reasons including national plan for restoration of four major rivers, environmental standards or management guidelines for the dredged river sediment are limited. The suggested environmental standard for the beneficial use of dredged river sediment consists of two levels, recyclable and concern, and includes eight contaminants such as metals and organic contaminants. The systematic approach to remediate dredged river sediment is also suggested. The system consists of both washing and stabilization processes with continuous multi particle separation. In the early stage, the sediments are separated into two particle sizes. The coarse-grained sediment over 0.075 mm, generally decontaminated with less trouble, follows normal washing steps and is sent for recycling. The fine-grained sediments under 0.075 mm are separated again at 0.025 mm. The particles bigger than this second separation point are treated in two ways, advanced washing for highly contaminated sediments and stabilization for less. The lab test results show that birnessite and apatite are most effective stabilizing agents among tested for Cd and Pb. The most fine residues, down-sized by continuous particle separation, are finally sent for disposal. The system is tested for metals in this study, but is expected to be effective for organic contaminants included in the environmental standard, such as PAH and PCE. The feasibility test on the field site will be followed.
