It is shown that case of 50 percent or less contains 38.5% when they receive contract, but only 10 percent reduction of original contract amount has been made when they provide it. It means that asbestos removal specialists do not keep occupational safety and health regulations.

  • Most of the construction works in domestic are not direct undertaking work, but by a contract method including subcontracting. Therefore, a general contractor for each project jointly carry out construction work with a specialty contractor for each engineering type. However, in terms of contract, this method is not a joint venture contract, but a subcontract. Accordingly, this system can cause various problems between the prime contractor and the subcontractor. Therefore, this study aims to extract and present the actual obstacle factors in terms of specialty contract company performing specialty construction work for construction project. The presented contents are expected to present the standard for the cooperation system that the prime contractor and the subcontractor can win-win.

  • Objectives: South Korea's occupational safety and health legislation appears on the surface to have stronger regulations than any other country, but it is criticized for having many problems when viewed from the perspective of the effectiveness and universality of these regulations. Therefore, it is necessary to consider the validity of the regulatory content and the methods for contract work in South Korea. Methods: The main issues in contract work are compared and analyzed in terms of the occupational safety and health laws systems in South Korea and other developed countries. Based on this, problems related to contract regulation are derived from the perspective of legal policy studies. In addition, effective improvement measures for the derived problems will be proposed. Results: Other developed countries impose obligations suitable for the status and role of persons who entrust work in consideration of the fact that they do not directly manage risks and in terms of the effectiveness of industrial accident prevention. These countries generally impose obligations such as management of facilities and machinery, cooperation and coordination with subcontractors, cooperation and coordination obligations between subcontractors, and guidance obligations on a person who entrusts a work. Conclusions: It is difficult to achieve effectiveness in preventing accidents with based on unreasonable regulations that do not conform to safety principles or legal theory. Regulations on contract work need to be converted to rational cogent regulations based on science and rationality, not ideology and emotion. To this end, the legal system for contract work must have international universality.

The frequency of hygiene education had a significant effect on the performance levels for refrigerator/freezer control (P<0.001), vegetable/fruit disinfection (P<0.001), thawing (P<0.001), heating temperature (P<0.001), cleaning/disinfection control (P<0.001), food supply control (P<0.05), and personal hygiene (P<0.05). From these results, to increase the sanitation quality of contract foodservice operations, hygiene practice levels need to increase and hygiene education systematically should be enforced for foodservice employees.

  • The Internet has allowed many things to move fast, including sharing of data, files and others within a second. Many domains use applications range from IoT, smart cities, healthcare, and organizations to share the data when necessary. However, there are some challenges faced by existing systems that works on centralized nature. Such challenges are data breach, trustiness issue, unauthorized access and data fraud. Therefore in this work, we focus on using a smart contract which is used by blockchain platform and works on decentralized form. Furthermore, in this work our contract provides an access to the file uploaded onto the decentralized storage such as IPFS. By leveraging smart contract-role based which consist of a contract owner who can manage the users when access the certain resources such as a file and as well as use of decentralized storage to avoid single point of failure and censorship over secure communication channel. We checked the gas cost of the smart contract since most of contracts tends to be a high cost.

  • Purpose - This study seeks to deepen our understanding of abusive supervision and its negative consequences on subordinates. Specifically, it examines the underlying psychological mechanism between abusive supervision and subordinates' work engagement, in particular with its focus on the mediational role of psychological contract breach. Design/methodology/approach - Following the two rounds of pilot interviews, this study collected and analyzed 182 survey data from one construction company and one hospital - the sectors in which abusive supervision is known to be frequent, with one-month interval to avoid common methods variances. Findings - We have two key findings. First, abusive supervision is negatively related to subordinates' work engagement. Second, the psychological contract violation mediates the relationship between abusive supervision and subordinates' work engagement. Research implications or Originality - This study enriches extant research on abusive supervision by deepening our understanding of the underlying mechanism in which abusive supervision causes negative outcomes. On a practical note, companies need further efforts to address abusive supervision, for example, by introducing sophisticated HR practices, including accessible grievance procedures and more serious disciplinary actions, and/or by offering leadership educations to supervisors.

The results of this study are as follows. First, the autonomy and feedback had negative (-) effects on work-family conflict while functional diversity had positive (+) effects on work-family conflict. Job identity and job importance had no relation with work-family conflict. Second, work-family conflict had negative (-) effects on job satisfaction, work-family relation, job support, general happiness, and job environment while having positive (+) effects on job stress. Third, in all paths except for the path with effects of work-family conflict on job stress, there were no differences between the group of shops operating 365 days and the group of shops operating 5 days a week. It would be helpful to the effective operation of human resources by emphasizing the necessity of differentiated management for companies with shops operating 365 days and shops operating 5 days a week, as well as managing employees' job characteristic factors, work-family conflict, and even quality of life.
