풍력터빈 드라이브트레인의 동특성 해석을 위한 모델링 기법 (Modeling Techniques for The Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Drivetrain in Wind Turbine)

  • Wind turbine industry is booming and spending a lot on research for improving the performance of its present machines and increasing their capacity. Wind turbine requires service life of about 20 years and each components of wind turbine requires high durability, because installation and maintenance costs are more expensive than generated electricity by wind-turbine. So the design of wind turbine must be verified in various condition before production step. For this work, high reliability model for analysis is required. Drivetrain model is modeled by multibody dynamic modeling method. The model constituted with rotor blades, hub, main shaft, gear box, high speed shaft and generator. Natural frequency and torsional stiffness of drivetrain are calculated and analyzed.

  • The working tactor of this study, an agriculture machine, is consisted of 4 wheel driving system with gear trains and 4-type wheel steering system. Since technological regions for 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system are some large, we divide on two studies on 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system This study develops transmission and axle that are very important units for strong working operation because the power of tractor is largely affected by transmission and axle. Even if the development of the power train is some common technology, it is very complicated work and needs many experience know-hows. So, for new given specifications fitted to the working tractor, a kind of new agriculture machine, this study haws out processes that are development of assembly drawing and strength analysis through classical method and CAE software for all internal parts and housing cases.

  • There are various ringshaped automotive and machine parts and the study about the characteristics of ring are the important basis of the quality control and performance improvement of outer race of ball bearing, railwheel, ring gear, piston ring, and other ringshaped seals, etc. In this study, the effect of prestress which arise inevitably during the fitting of the ring shape parts and the effect of central line extension/contraction on the vibrational characteristics of ring are verified. Although many studies are made on the vibration of ring, the study about prestress and extension were rather scarce and rare. As a result of the study, a series of frequency formulas are derived. The result of this study can be utilized in the improvement of design as well as in the quality control during the fitting work.

고속 정밀용 브러시 없는 리니어 직류 모터 개발 (Development of a Brushless Linear DC Motor for High Speed and Precise Position Control)

  • Recently, we have developed a linear brushless DC motor(LBLDCM) with high speed and precise position control performance to apply it to the semiconductor assembly and inspection machinery. It is composed of double side alignment by two armature-stator pairs and each pair is consist of a moving armature with 8 poles by 3 phase coils and a stator with rare earth permanent magnet (Nd-Fe-B) arrays. Through the thrust force analysis on a simplified and whole model of the suggested LBLDCM by an Electromagnetic FEM solver, skew angle of magnet arrays to reduce the thrust force ripple and the winding conditions of the armature is designed. From experimental results, the user's requirements was satisfied and we confirmed distinctly that the repeatable accuracy less than a micron of the linear motion can be obtained at high speed by the developed LBLDCM. This is owing to directly drive the work without the gear train.

  • In this work, experimental investigation was carried out for the breakdown characteristics of $SF_6$, $N_2$ and their mixtures under the uniform and non-uniform electric field, by use of HVAC and standard impulse testing voltages, as a function of different gas pressures from 1 atm to 5 atm. The results show that the dielectric strength of the $SF_6$ mixed in $N_2$ was significantly increased at its portion of 10%, which might imply that the optimum mixture of $SF_6$ for the HV switch gear could be proposed to be 10%.

  • New methods for screw and spline production has been developed recently by Japan and other developed countries in the basis of Rolling Dies work to cut down the production cost. These methods give us high precision of the products. But we in Korea mostly import Dies for manufacturing forming products. It is thought that if we don't develop our own technology for Rolling Dies, we will have to spend much money for importing Forming concerned equipments. In this paper, we designed the rolling dies based on the diameter of material and calculated the proper number of teeth of gear to establish desirable method for Rolling dies. And the result is shown after manufacturing Involute spline with the rolling dies.

  • Long face patients are characterized by excessive anterior facial height, lip incompetence at rest, anterior open bite, and gummy smile. A major problem is an inferior rotation of the posterior maxilla and upper molars. Long face patients have been the most difficult for orthodontist to treat successfully. In growing patients, the methods for impeding excessive vertical growth have been used high pull head gear, functional appliance, and combined type of two. One significant improvement comes from using a full arch splint to deliver force to the maxilla more vertically. In adult patients, orthodontic camouflage treatment is biomechanically difficult and doesn't work when the problem is primarilly vertical. Surgical maxillary impaction provides a means for successfully treating most of problems. Also, superior reposition of the chin via a mandibular inferior border osteotomy is effective in decrease of lower anterior facial height and correction of the poor chin-lip balance. Post-surgical stability and the physiologic response are good. The coordinated orthodontic and surgical treatment is necessary for solution the difficult skeletal deformity.

수동휠체어의 변속 기능이 추진 동작에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Manual Wheelchairs' Transmission on the Propulsion Motion)

  • This work intends to investigate the effects of shift characteristics on the propulsion performance of a manual wheelchair with an automatic transmission. A planetary gear train is employed to generate a two-stage shift automatically, based on the distance traveled from rest. Motion analysis has been performed for measuring kinematic properties of the arm and then the inverse dynamics has been applied for estimating joint forces/torques. Then, a parametric study has been performed to find a set of the shift ratios and the shift intervals for optimizing propulsion performance. Results show that the propulsion performance is closely related to the shift condition. It is found that a short shift interval is desirable for a short distance propulsion. However, an optimum shift interval for a long distance propulsion is inversely proportional to the shift ratio approximately. Consequently, the automatic transmission can greatly lower the joint loadings by the speed reduction, which eventually contribute to prevent joint injuries of wheelchair users.

LSTM을 이용한 협동 로봇 동작별 전류 및 진동 데이터 잔차 패턴 기반 기어 결함진단 (Gear Fault Diagnosis Based on Residual Patterns of Current and Vibration Data by Collaborative Robot's Motions Using LSTM)

  • 최근에는 협동 로봇의 데이터를 활용한 다양한 결함진단 연구가 수행되고 있다. 협동 로봇의 결함진단을 수행하는 기존 연구들은 기존 연구의 학습 데이터는 미리 정의된 기기의 동작을 가정하고 수집한 정적 데이터를 사용한다. 따라서 결함진단 모델은 학습한 데이터 패턴에 대한 의존성이 높아지는 한계가 있다. 또한 단일 모터를 사용한 실험으로 다관절이 동작하는 협동 로봇의 특성을 반영한 진단이 이루어지지 못했다는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 앞서 언급한 두 가지 한계점을 해결할 수 있는 LSTM 진단 모델을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 단일 축 및 다중 축 작업 환경에서의 진동 및 전류 데이터의 상관분석을 사용하여 정상 대표 패턴을 선정하고, 정상 대표 패턴과의 차이를 통해 잔차 패턴을 생성한다. 생성된 잔차 패턴을 입력으로 축별 기어 마모 진단을 수행할 수 있는 LSTM 모델을 생성한다. 해당 결함진단 모델은 동작별 대표 패턴을 통해 모델의 학습 데이터 패턴에 대한 의존성을 낮출 수 있을 뿐 아니라 다중 축 동작 수행 시 발생하는 결함을 진단할 수 있다. 마지막으로, 내부 및 외부 데이터의 특성을 모두 반영하여 결함진단 성능을 개선한 결과 98.57%의 높은 진단 성능을 보였다.
