  • Internet of Things(IoT) is electronic devices and household appliances use wireless sensor network in environment of high speed wireless network and LTE mobile service. The combination of the development of Internet and wireless network led to development of new forms of service such as electronic devices and household appliances can connect to the Internet through various sensors and online servers such as a Home Network. Even though Internet of Things is useful, there are problems in Internet of Things. In environment of Internet of Things, information leakage could happens by illegal eavesdropping and spoofing. Also illegal devices of wireless communication interference can cause interfere in Internet of things service, physical damage and denial of service by modulation of data and sensor. In this thesis, it will analyze security threats and security vulnerability in environment of mobile services and smart household appliances, then it will suggest plan. To solve security issues, it is important that IT and RFID sensor related companies realize importance of security environment rather than focus on making profit. It is important to develop the standardized security model that applies to the Internet of Things by security-related packages, standard certification system and strong encrypted authentication.

  • USIM(UMTS Subscriber Identity Module) technology that accept 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project) standards for information security supports security function in 3GPP. Supported security functions of USIM are confidentiality of user identity, mutual authentication and key agreement between end user and network, confidentiality of user data and data integrity. It is very important technology in wireless network. It makes secure environment that user and service provider can use securely mobile service in network. In this paper, design and implementation USIM security module that supports common network access method and authentication protocol in 3GPP and WLAN(Wireless LAN) and AAA (3A-Authentication Authorization Accounting) server system based RADIUS.

  • Recently, the use of wireless fan is increased by the development of wireless communication and convenience. Moreover, it makes an issue of security threat and vulnerability of wireless tan. Therefore, the IEEE established new standard such as 802.11i in 802.11 to supplement security vulnerability of wireless tan. But the security threat that does not solve, still remains. In this paper, we proposed that the location detection algorithm, that is used Kalman-Filter, Lateration and RSSI, and the mechanism that detects security status of AP and unauthorized AP by using beacon-frame of AP in building. Finally, we confirmed performance of proposed algorithm is good in comparison of established algorithm.

  • A wireless sensor network is being actively researched around the world that are connected to the mesh are a plurality of sensor nodes in a wireless manner that span different regions of the techniques. However, wireless communications use the limitation of resources, so it is very weak due to the properties of the network itself secure in comparison to the normal network. Wireless sensor network is divided into tapped-based attacks, forgery based attacks, denial of service attacks based largely by securities laws must defend against various attacks such as insertion of the wrong information being sent eavesdropping or modification of information, which is usually sensor network applications need to do. The countermeasure of sensor network attack is described in this research, and it will contribute to establish a secure sensor network communication.

  • Existing web-based system management software solutions show some limitations in time and space. Moreover, they possess such as shortcomings unreliable error message announcements and difficulties with real-time assistance suppers and emergency measures. In order to solve these deficiencies, Wireless Remote Control System was designed and implemented. Wireless Remote Control System is able to manage and monitor remote systems by using mobile communication devices for instantaneous control. The implementation of Wireless Remote Control System leads to these security Problems as well as solutions to aforementioned issues with existing web-based system management software solutions. Therefore, this paper has focused on the security matters related to Wireless Remote Control System. The designed security functions include mobile device user authentication and target system access control. For security verification of these security functions introduced CPN(Coloured Petri Nets) which is capable of expressing every possible state for each stage. And then in this paper was verified its security through PI(Place Invariant) based on CPN(Coloured Petri Nets). The CPN expression and analysis method of the proposed security function can also be a useful method for analyzing other services in the future.

  • The number of wireless public network user is increasing rapidly. Security problem for user authentication has been increased on existing wireless network such as IEEE802.11 based Wireless LAN. As a solution, IEEE802.1x (EAP-MD5, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS), X.509, protocol or security system was suggested as a new disposal plan on this problem. In this study, we overview main problem on existing EAP-MD5 authentication mechanism on Wireless LAN and propose a SMS(Short Message Service) based secure authentication and accounting mechanism for providing security enhanced wireless network transactions.

  • Wireless network is convenient as compared to the wire, and it is also easy. Therefore, SMEs in the country is the trend that many SMEs prefer the radio using a lot of radio as an extension of the wired network modification felt the burden of fixed installations. Wireless networks are vulnerable to security together than a wired network, since it passes the packet through the broadcasting. Therefore, analyzing the vulnerability of wireless networks, and proposes countermeasures about wireless network security in small and medium-sized businesses.

  • In this paper, we analyses of Key Management Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks in Wireless Sensor Networks. Wireless sensor networks have a wide spectrum of civil military application that call for security, target surveillance in hostile environments. Typical sensors possess limited computation, energy, and memory resources; therefore the use of vastly resource consuming security mechanism is not possible. In this paper, we propose a cryptography key management protocol, which is based on identity based symmetric keying.

  • Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are used for many real-time applications. User authentication is an important security service for WSNs to ensure only legitimate users can access the sensor data within the network. In 2012, Yoo and others proposed a security-performance-balanced user authentication scheme for WSNs, which is an enhancement of existing schemes. In this paper, we show that Yoo and others' scheme has security flaws, and it is not efficient for real WSNs. In addition, this paper proposes a new strong authentication scheme with user privacy for WSNs. The proposed scheme not only achieves end-party mutual authentication (that is, between the user and the sensor node) but also establishes a dynamic session key. The proposed scheme preserves the security features of Yoo and others' scheme and other existing schemes and provides more practical security services. Additionally, the efficiency of the proposed scheme is more appropriate for real-world WSNs applications.
