  • The heat exchange between the Borehole Heat Exchanger(BHE) and the surrounding ground depends directly on ground thermal conductivity k at the certain site. The k is thus a key parameter in designing BHE and coupled geothermal heat pump systems. Currently, although a thermal hydraulic Response Test(TRT) is mostly used in practice, the thermal hydraulic TRT needs additional power and is generally time-consuming. A new, simple wireless probe for hi-speed k determination was introduced in this paper. This technique using a wireless probe is less time-consuming and requires no external source of energy for measurement and predicts local thermal properties by measuring soil temperatures along the depth. Measured temperature data along the depth was analyzed. As a result, the electronic wireless probe can replace the conventional hydraulic TRT method after carrying out the additional research on a lot of local heat flow, etc.

  • We developed a wireless gamma-ray probe based on radiation photon counting method to diagnose and detect remaining lesions after surgery, and its effectiveness was evaluated using calibration sources and a phantom. The probe was designed and miniaturized using a semi-conductor-based radiation sensor, and a Bluetooth remote communication module was used to implement the wireless diagnosis and detection system. Moreover, a remote monitoring system was implemented to monitor affected areas during diagnosis and surgery. To assess the effectiveness of the developed probe in this study, calibration sources $^{57}Co$, $^{133}Ba$, $^{22}Na$ and $^{137}Cs$ and a chicken breast phantom were used. Furthermore, the probe's detection response to gamma ray was confirmed through evaluation. Its clinical applicability was verified by assessing the response linearity and detection direction according to gamma-ray intensity, as well as the detection efficiency according to the depth of the gamma source in the phantom.

The k is thus a key parameter in designing BHE and coupled geothermal heat pump systems. Currently, although a thermal hydraulic response test(TRT) is mostly used in practice, the thermal hydraulic TRT needs additional power and is generally time-consuming. A new, simple wireless P/T probe for a hi-speed k determination was introduced in this paper. This technique using a wireless P/T probe is less time-consuming and requires no external source of energy for measurement and predicts local thermal properties by measuring soil temperatures along the depth. Measured temperature data along the depth was analyzed. In order to verify the new technique for the determination of ground thermal conductivity, ground thermal conductivity k that calculated from the measured temperature data using a wireless P/T probe was compared with one obtained from conventional hydraulic TRT. When comparing the average k of two methods, the relative error was approximately 10%. As a result, the electronic TRT can replace the conventional hydraulic TRT method after carrying out the additional research on a lot of sites.

  • In this paper, dual-polarized 2${\times}$2 array antenna is designed and fabricated for the polarization diversity applications in wireless LAN system. For the improved bandwidth and isolation characteristics, the aperture coupled feeding and the L-shaped probe feeding are employed for each polarization. The measured bandwidths of the fabricated antenna are 210MHz for aperture coupled feeding and 280MHz for L-shaped probe feeding. The isolation for two ports is -40dB and the antenna gain is measured as 14.3${\pm}$0.2dBi in the operating frequency band of wireless LAN.

  • Wireless network is one of the 2010's most important security issues. As smartphone is popularize, the number of Wireless Internet users is really growing and wireless AP spring up everywhere. But most wireless AP haven't being managed properly in terms of security, Wireless Internet users also don't recognize important of security. This situation causes grave security threats. This paper design and analyze a new cyber attack whose it circulates malware via QR code and activates Mobile AP to induce service charge. The new vulnerability we suggest forces to activate Mobile AP of smartphone based on Android and responds to all Probe Request are generated around, and brings induction of service charge and communication problems in its train.

  • In this work, a new land-specific resistance measuring device (GM) and a measuring probe (Grounding Rod) are connected to the WENNER quadrant as power-line communication (PLC). In groups of two (P1,P2) probes, five to ten probes are installed in series on the ground at intervals of 1m, 2m, 4m, 8m, and 16m, respectively. If the PLC signal from the GMD is detected by the receiver of the Probe 1 (P1) for measurement, the minute voltage and current for measurement flow from the PSD (power supply) attached to the probe to the ground, and then, through the soil between P1 and P2, enters the Probe 1 (P2). The resistance value is then measured by the principle of voltage drop due to ground resistance. Measure the earth resistance every T seconds up to 1 trillion and store the measured data on the Arduino Server mounted on the main equipment. Stored measurement data can be derived from formulas by Ohm's Law and from inherent resistance (here,). Data obtained in real time will be linked to CDGES programs installed on Main PC, enabling data analysis and real-time monitoring of the ground environment on land. In addition, a three-dimensional display is possible with 3D graph support by identifying seasonal characteristics such as temperature and humidity of land (soils). The limitations of the study will require specific application measures of Test Bed for commercial access to a model that has been developed and operated experimentally.

  • Recently the use of wireless network increases according to it solves the hand-off and with path loss, pading, noise etc of wireless network the research for transmission error improvement is developed. TCP and SCTP of standard where it guarantees the reliability of wire network apply in wireless network the congestion control, flow control mechanism used it decreases the efficiency of data transfer throughputs. In this paper, It mixes SCTP and SNOOP for SCTP apply on wireless network, to improve BS(Basic Station) operation processes when the transmission error occurs in wireless network. BS send ZWP(Zero Window Probe) to MN(Mobile Node) when the transmission error occurs so, check path and status and update RWND and error status checked. It selects the new path, send ZWA(Zero Window Advertisement) to FH(Fixed Host) and the prevents call to congestion control or flow control and it does to make wait status standing. Continuously of data transfer after the connection of wireless network is stabilized, it make increase about 10% the transmission throughput of data.

  • Recently Wireless Communication technologies are widely used in Small And Medium Business fields. Wireless mesh networks have been studied as the next generation technology to solve problem of conventional wireless networks. Wireless mesh network uses a 802.11 when make up of network. mesh clients occurs Hard handover moving between ones. This increases the handover latency of the network mobility is a very great issues. Consequently, this paper propose a channel information previously methods to reduce the handover latency selective channels. Proposed scheme accounts for more than 90% of the probe delay to minimize the client had to move the mesh based on the old channel to retrieve information. Through simulation, the proposed scheme had shorter handover delay time than transitional full scan and selective scan. Through results of evaluation, the suggest PCISS scheme more fast 6.5% than transitional scheme.

  • This paper generally relates to the field of wireless local area networks(WLANs), and more particularly, to AP selection and association methods for the performance of a station. In these days, IEEE 802.11 Wireless LAN network is widely deployed and used as an emerging service to connect high-speed Internet in the public wireless environment. But, if there are many users in hot spot area, they suffer a severe decrease of performance. Thus it needs an association and access control mechanism especially when it is used in the public environment. In this paper, we suggest a selection and association method using Beacon or Probe Response frames based IEEE 802.11. Station selects AP using the information of the capacity area in a Beacon or a Probe Response frame. According to the present paper, an association method for a public WLAN service, which includes a WLAN user terminal and an AP for relaying WLAN communications to and from the user terminal, includes the steps of the user terminal asking the AP's states for access to a radio channel; and the station selects and associates with the AP According to the above-described selection in a high speed wireless Internet service based on public WLAN technologies that are currently in operations. Further, it is possible to improve the efficiency of network management.
