와이어프레임 기반의 3차원 형상제시기의 실시간 SMA 제어 (Real-time SMA control for wire frame-based 3D shape display)

  • We developed wire frame drive unit based on SMA for the 3D Shape display. Our basic concept is wire frame combination connected with a chain form which can create various shapes and it compared with pin array mechanism which is not able to display mushroom shape. It imitates antagonist mechanism of human musculoskeletal system. we create similar motion using repair-relaxation mechanism and locking mechanism by SMA. Therefore, in this paper, we propose SMA control solution for actuating repair-relaxation mechanism and locking mechanism. In our control system. we use optical sensor and quantitative angle between wire frames for closed loop control. And we supply amplified current for SMA by circuit composed of transistor and apply PWM signal to circuit for efficient control. So, wire frame drive unit enable diversity angle control based on sensor data. And then combination of wire frame drive units will create various objects.

  • 비정질 세선의 인장응력에 따른 교류자화과정에서의 최대자기유도 변화를 피측정 물리량으로 하는 가속도 센서에 관하여 연구를 하였다. 진동측정 주파수 범위는 진동감지소자의 질량에 의하여 결정되었으며, 질량이 $1{\times}10^{-3}kg$일 경우 DC에서 700 Hz, $5{\times}10^{-3}kg$일 경우 DC에서 200 Hz로 측정되었다. 가속도 센서의 선형도는 가속도의 범위가 5 g이내일 때 1% 이하였다.

  • In most shipyards, the measurement of 3-dimensional relative position of pipes should be connected in the block depends on the manual operation. It results a very tedious and inefficient procedure, thus the proper measurement system is needed to improve productivity and accuracy. This paper describes the development results of pipe measurement system including system concepts, measuring procedures, system calibration, and its accuracy and productivity. And also, the possibility and things to be improved for application in shipyard are discussed in this paper.

  • EED 내부의 화약을 제거하고 광섬유센서를 발열선에 근접 설치하면 EED의 발열선 온도를 정확하게 측정 할 수 있다 .. EED의 발열 선과 광섬유 센서간의 이격할 수 있는 최적거리 계산을 열전달 이론에 근거하여 구 하였고. 발열선의 온도-이격거리 관계식을 도출하였다. 연구결과는 외부 전자파환경에 의해서 유기된 전류로 인해 발생되는 발열선의 온도를 측정하는 전자파방사 위해도 시험에 활용할 수 있다.

  • The terminal and core(wire conductor) in a Harness processing is connected by putting them in a applicator by virtue of a manual operation. A normal or abnormal condition of crimping connections is nearly determined by a skilled worker. In general, a skilled worker operates a press motor with a foot switch by pressing on foot and puts a wire conductor into a press with one hand. By doing so, sufficient efficiency is not obtained by a worker. In this paper, a basic study has done to make improve an efficiency by finding the normal arrangement out as to whether a terminal and wire conductor in Harness are placed on the right position or not with a quadrant plane photo position sensor.

  • As economic rapid growth, large structures are damaged by defects from design and construction process of the formation and environments. Therefore, safety diagnosis and monitoring skills are bringing importance into relief and legislate for safety diagnosis of large structures. However, the existing monitoring systems are difficult by using wire cable because of cost, error of date, location, revise. In this paper, wireless sensor network which are accelerator, temperature sensor system using ubiquitous had been field test on Sea-Hea Grand bridge. We compare accelerator, temperature sensor system with wire and wireless sensor network.

GMI Magnetic Field Sensor Based on a Time-coded Principle

  • A laboratory sensor model was designed, constructed, and tested based on a newly proposed working principle of magnetic field detection. The principle of sensing employed a time-coded method in correlation with exploiting the advantageous features of the GMI effect. The sensor demonstrated a sensitivity of $10\;{\mu}s/{\mu}T$ in the field range of ${\pm}100\;{\mu}T$. The sensing element in the form of an amorphous thin wire, $100\;{\mu}m$ in diameter ${\times}50\;mm$ long, was fit into a small field modulation coil of 60 mm length. At a magnetic field modulation in the range of hundreds of Hz, the change in time interval of two adjacent GMI voltage peaks was linearly related to the external magnetic field to be measured. This mechanism improved the sensor linearity of the GMI sensor to better than 0.2% in the measuring range of ${\pm}100\;{\mu}T$.

  • The Steer-By-Wire(SBW) system replaces complex mechanical linkages of the current steering system with electric motors, sensors, and electronic control units. However, the SBW system should guarantee its safety and reliability before commercialization, and therefore, a reliable and robust fault-tolerant technology has to be implemented. This paper proposes a fault-tolerant control algorithm for the SBW system. Based on careful analysis on propagation effects of sensor faults, a reliable fault-tolerant control strategy has been developed. The fault-tolerant controller consists of a fault detection part that monitors and detects faults in the steering wheel and road wheel sensors, and a reconfiguration part that switches to normal sensor signal based on fault detection information. It has been demonstrated by simulation that the proposed algorithm detects sensor faults accurately and enables reliable steering control under various dynamic fault situations.

  • 무선센서네트워크 환경의 웹기반(web-based) 교량모니터링시스템을 갖추기 위하여 무선통신을 기반으로 디지털 초소형센서와 마이크로 프로세싱, 데이터 취합 및 관리를 위한 데이터베이스, 각종 제어 프로그램, 인터넷 데이터 전송 프로세서를 기본적으로 구축하여 무선으로 수신된 데이터를 수집하고 분석하였다. 그리고 이러한 교량모니터링 시스템의 적용성을 검증을 위하여 동일조건에서 유선방식과 무선방식으로 실험을 병행 수행한 후 각각의 계측결과들을 비교하였다. 비교한 결과 유선으로 계측한 결과와 무선으로 계측한 값은 유사하지만 무선센서의 통신과정에서 데이터의 손실이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 실내실험과 현장실험을 통하여 본 연구의 효율성과 적용성을 검증하였다.

  • A GMI magnetic field sensor working based on time-coded principle has been investigated and designed. The laboratory model has been constructed and tested carefully, demonstrating the sensitivity of $3\;{\mu}s/{\mu}T$ in the field range of ${\pm}100\;{\mu}T$. An amorphous thin wire, $100\;{\mu}m$ in diameter ${\times}50\;mm$ in length, was chosen to be sensing element which was fit into a small field modulation coil of 60 mm in length. The sensor is working based on a time-coded principle that, with the magnetic field modulation was chosen in range of hundreds of Hz, the change in time interval of two adjacent GMI peaks relating to external DC magnetic field is proportional to the intensity of the external field to be measured. This mechanism has made a great improvement to the linearity of the sensor.
