A Study on the modeling of roller gear cam (롤러기어캠의 모델링에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we developed an automated program for the modeling and simulation of three-dimensional roller gear cam mechanisms. The three-dimensional modeling for a roller-gear cam employs coordinate transformations based on the con-tact condition. the wire frame modeling followed by the shading technique using triangular meshing elements incorporat-ed the to reduce the number of data and computational load. Computer simulations for two kinds of products for rollger-gear cam mechansim illustrate the relative motion between the modeled roller-gear cam and a turret and thus show the effectiveness of the proposed modeling.

  • This paper explains the system which finds the data of the joint of Wire Frame(that express the body structure of the golfer) from standard golf swing movie. Also, this paper used interpolation and the method which modify the distance between a joint and a close joint to general new joint data. Last this paper explains the system that make a standard golf swing attitude by continuous display the static attitude(which are formed with Wire Frame) of golf swing operations.

A computer program employing the theory of gearing and coordinate transformation is developed for synthesizing and animating cam mechanisms. A method using wire frame modeling and shading by triangular element is presented, and effectively used for modeling of example with reduced computation time. Then a module for generation NC program a five-axis CNC machine to manufacture roller gear cam is established.

  • In CAD/CAM system, many efforts are made to automate the converting process from drawling information to manufacturing Information. The most difficult step In this procedure is utilizing 2 dimensional drawing information In order to formulate 3 dimensional w&ling information. This paper emphasizes to mWe automatically series of convertirg steps which provide 3 dimensional wire frame, surface and solid modeling using feature recognition rules. With the standardization of design process and the recognition rule as preceding steps, it shows a good application tool to interface the design and manufacturing procedures in PC-Level CAD/CAM system.

  • 본 논문에서는 조선 블록분할 공정계획의 CAD화를 위한 요구기능의 정의와 이의 구현을 위하여 기존의 Steerbear와 같은 와이어프래임 모델링(Wire Frame Modeling) CAD 시스템에서는 처 리할 수 없는 기능을 범용 솔리드 모델러 상에서 필요한 소프트웨어 모듈을 개발하여 기능 검 증을 하였다. 기능 검증의 도구(tool)로서 CAD 데이터베이스의 접근이 가능한 Pro/ENGINEER를 이용하였으며 CAD 데이터베이스의 접근 도구는 Pro/DEVELOPE을 사용하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 웨이블릿 변환을 이용하여 추정된 변위 벡터와 이를 이용한 물체의 분할을 통해 특징 점을 추출하고 3차원 와이어 프레임(wire-frame)을 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 우선, 웨이블릿 변환을 이용하여 빠른 시간 안에 변위를 측정하고, 이를 통해 배경과 물체를 분리해 내었다. 그런 뒤에, 변위 벡터를 이용하여, 깊이 정보를 추정해 내고, 동시에 물체로부터 두드러진 특징 값들을 추출하여 3차원 와이어 프레임 생성을 위한 거리 값으로 사용하였다. 마지막으로, 일반적인 delaunay triangulation에서 생길 수 있는 오 정합을 본 논문에서 제안하는 전경/배경 분할 알고리즘을 이용하여 제거 하여 정확한 3차원 모델을 생성하였다. 아울러, 본 논문에서 제안하는 웨이블릿을 이용한 빠른 3D 모델링 방법을 원 영상을 이용한 방법과 비교하여, 더 좋은 결과를 보여줌으로써, 계산 시간 뿐만 아니라 정확성에서도 만족할 만한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

A Band Partitioning Algorithm for Contour Triangulation (등치선 삼각분할을 위한 띠 분할 알고리즘)

  • The surface reconstruction problem from a set of wire-frame contours is very important in diverse fields such as medical imaging or computer animation. In this paper, surface triangulation method is proposed for solving the problem. Generally, many optimal triangulation techniques suffer from the large computation time but heuristic approaches may produce very unnatural surface when contours are widely different in shape. To compensate the disadvantages of these approaches, we propose a new heuristic triangulation method which iteratively decomposes the surface generation problem from a band (a pair of vertices chain) into tow subproblems from two sub-bands. Generally, conventional greedy heuristic contour triangulation algorithm, suffer from the drastic error propagation during surface modeling when the adjacent contours are different in shape. Our divide-and-conquer algorithm, called band partitioning algorithm, processes eccentric parts of the contours first with more global information. Consequently, the resulting facet model becomes more stable and natural even though the shapes are widely different. An interesting property of our method is hat it supports multi-resolution capability in surface modeling time. According to experiments, it is proved to be very robust and efficient in many applications.

  • In the past decade, significant effort has been made toward increasing the accuracy and robustness in the three-dimensional scanning methods. In this paper, we introduce a novel laser-stripe, 3D scanning system which was developed to digitize a whole human body. We also suggest a new semi-automatic contour registration method to generate robust contours from the 3D data points acquired by our scanning system. A contour triangulation based surface modoling method was also introduced. Experimental result shows that our system is very robust and efficient for reconstructing overall 3D surface model of a human body.

Near-Field Analysis of Vehicle LF Antennas for Estimating the Reading Range of a Smart Key (스마트 키 인식 거리 예측을 위한 차량 LF 안테나의 Near-Field 분석)

  • In this paper, we propose a method of near-field analysis for vehicle LF antennas in order to estimate the accurate reading range of a smart key. The LF antenna consists of a ferrite core and a conducting wire which is coated with polyethylene for insulation, and it is mounted at the rear bumper frame of a commercial vehicle. The reading range of a smart key is measured at nine azimuthal directions distributed around the rear bumper, and then, the received power at each maximum reading range is measured by using a spectrum analyzer. The measurement shows that the maximum reading range exists between 1.38 m and 1.53 m, and the radiated power is between -83.6 dBmW and -75.0 dBmW. We further conducted EM simulation to estimate the reading range and the received power under the same condition that we applied for the measurement. The results demonstrate that an accurate reading range and received power can be achieved by simulation.
