This study implemented a remote control system using PDA based on WINDOWS CE. NET. In existing remote control systems, the user generally controls remote objects and obtain data using a computer, which is a local system connected to the internet, and the remote objects are connected to server computers. In order to control remote objects, the user has to have a computer, a space to use the Internet, and wired internet. The system proposed in this study uses an embedded board as a server and PDA as a client. Thus, the user can control remote objects at any place as long as wireless internet is available. In addition, because an embedded board is used as a server, the system has the characteristics of high performance and low power consumption. The proposed system provides not only remote control environment using PDA but also conventional control environment using a computer as a client. In case PDA is not available, remote objects still can be controlled from any place as long as there are wired internet and a computer.

Current VOD embodiment way is embodied using PC base. However, achieved research that embody this by Embedded System that PC base is not. OS of this system used WindowsCE.net and x86core used having built-ined SC1200(National company's Geode's familys) by CPU and memory used 128MByte SDRAM. Used Mpeg Decoder for processing of video data, and used Enthernet Controller for Internet. Composite, component, S-Video of video output section of this system is and select one of these and connect on TV and did so that get into action. Actuality implementation manufactured necessary BIOS, WinodwsCE.NET Porting, DeviceDriver in system development and necessary simple Application in action confirmation, and Video Player used Window Media Player had included to WindowsCE.net. Therefore, treatise that see to supplement shortcomings of VOD service been embodying in current PC in Embedded System's form embody that there is sense do can.

Hand carried computing machinery and tools have been developed into an embedded system which the small footprint operating system is contained internally. Windows CE which is one of imbedded operating system is a lightweight, multithreaded operating system with an optional graphical user interface. Its strength lies in its small size, its Win32 subset API, and its multiplatform support. Therefore we choose to port this OS on Arm based board that is provided high performance, low cost, and low power consumption. In this paper, we describe the architecture of ARM based board, the feature of Windows CE, techniques and steps involved in this porting process.

최근 차량 내부의 전장장치 사이에 운전자의 편의성의 요구 수준이 높아지고 있으며 이에 대응해 상호통신을 위한 차량용 네트워크 기술이 빠르게 발전하고 있다. 이에 따라 이들 인포테인먼트 시스템 중 최적화된 내부 통신기술이 필요하게 되었다. 차량용 네트워크인 MOST(Media Oriented Systems Transport)는 오디오, 비디오 신호를 동기적으로 전송할 수 있는 자동차용 멀티미디어 시스템에 가장 광범위 하게 사용되고 있는 네트워크이며 넓은 대역폭과 오디오, 비디오 데이터의 실시간 전송 및 코딩을 지원한다. Windows CE는 다양한 라이브러리를 지원함으로써 다양한 GUI 및 네트워크 프로젝터 개발이 가능하다. 이러한 기술적 변화에 맞춰서 본 논문에서는 Windows CE 6.0 기반의 보드와 차량용 인포테이먼트 네트워크인 MOST 네트워크를 이용하여 MOST 네트워크 상태를 관리할 수 있고 MOST 네트워크 동작 및 정보, 상태 등 다양한 정보를 한눈에 확인할 수 있는 시스템을 구성하였다.

This paper researched about technique of Opened CNC that were able to adapt themselves to rapid development of software and hardware. 본 논문에서는 Embedded 시스템에서 Windows CE 내에 사용되고 있는 불필요한 메모리를 최소화하고 메모리를 좀 더 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 방안으로 가비지컬렉터를 이용한 메모리관리 방법에 대한 연구이다. Embedded 시스템의 힙 메모리 내에 수집할 수 있는 방법 중 전체수집과, 부분수집에 대하여 살펴본다. 가비지컬렉터가 응용 프로그램에서 더 이상 사용하지 않는 힙 내에 개체가 있는지 확인하고, 힙에 대해 사용할 수 있는 메모리가 더 이상 없을 경우 새 연산자가 Out Of Memory Exception를 실행하게 된다. 실험부분에서 가비지컬렉터의 개체사용 여부를 실험한다.

본 논문에서는 시각장애자를 위한 웹 브라우저가 가져야 하는 특징을 살펴보고, 이러한 요구 사항을 지닌 웹 브라우저를 사용할 수 있도록 Windows CE에서 무지점자로 변환해 주는 웹 브라우저를 설계 및 구현하였다. Windows CE용 시각장애자 웹 브라우저는 일반적인 웹 브라우저가 가지고 있는 기본기능과 비교하여 링크선택, 이동기능, 도표에서 셀의 이동, 행 또는 열방향의 기능, 프레임 선택, 글자, 단어 및 줄 단위로 읽어줄 수 있도록 설계하여 시각장애자들이 인터넷으로부터 필요한 정보를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다.

Recently, as the demand of mobile multimedia devices increases and T-DMB is started in Korea, the need of research for integration of mobile devices such as cellular phone, navigation, and portable multimedia player becomes higher. In order to integrate mobile devices, it is necessary to support microprocessor with fast speed and various devices with multimedia service. In this paper, we construct Windows CE 5.0 platform whose BSP supports the embedded system board with ARM11 core and various devices and applications. We also implement the DMB device driver which supports busy waiting and interrupt driven I/O techniques, compare their performance, and then suggest the method to efficiently use the resources of embedded system.

This thesis deals with application of Windows CE for Embedded System and the development methode of "Speed Gate Controller Tester" taking advantage of development program. We can improve reliability, stability and convenience of maintenance work as use of "Speed Gate Controller Tester" which was developed and applied "Embedded System" We can provide customers with more qualified service naturally because of the higher rate of operation which makes people use more pleasant and comfortable subway facility. And also it is possible to manage processor, time schedule and hardware resource as application of Embedded System and Windows CE. Embedded System applied OS Windows CE makes it possible to develop other various products, another application of equipment and tester. Thus this paper treats problems the moment developed and the present condition, development process, field application results.
