윈도우즈 95와 같은 멀티미디어 환경 하에서 개인 신분 확인을 위한 방법은 비밀번호를 키보드로 입력받는 것이었으나, 본 논문에서는 음성을 이용하는 방법으로 기존의 방법이 기준패턴의 시간에 따라 변하는 특성을 보상하지 못한다는 단점을 보완하는 방법이다. 즉, 이를 위해 음성신호의 특징인 기본주파수와 제1포만트의 비율을 이용하여 기준패턴을 형성화하는 방법에 관한 것이다. 제안한 방법으로 실험한 결과, 98%의 전체 인식율을 얻게 되었고, 윈도우즈 환경에서 비밀번호 사용 대신 음성 사용에 대한 가능성을 보여 주었다.

웹 브라우저 상에서 한국어 음성인식을 이용한 정보검색 시스템에 대한 것이다. 이 시스템의 특징은 웹 브라우저 상에서 보여지는 Hypertext Word를 인식할 수 있는 거승로 기존의 웹 브라우저를 마우스 click 대신 음성인식을 이용하여 사용할 수 있다는 것이다. 웹 브라우저를 통해서 보여지는 고정되지 않고 계속 하여 변화하는 인식후보를 인식하기 위해 당 연구실에서 개발한 가변 어휘 인식기를 사용하였다. 시스템은 windows 95/NT 환경에서 개발되었으며, 사용자가 새로운 인터페이스를 배울 필요 없이 바로 사용할 수 있도록 사용자 편의성 부분도 고려하여 개발되었다. 개발된 시스템은 독립 환경, 독립 화자에 대해 실험한 결과 130여개의 단어에 대해 편균 90% 정도의 인식성능을 보인다.

TMS320C31 DSP를 사용하여 다채널 음성신호를 실시간으로 압축/저장 및 재생 시스템을 구현하였다. 각각의 전화선으로부터 입력되는 DAM성신호는 실시간으로 VSELP 음성 부호화 알고리즘을 이용하여 8Kbps 의 전송률로 압축된다 압축 음성 데이터는 host computer 로 전송되어 각각의 채널별로 HDD 나 MOD 같은 저장 장치에 저장되어진다. PC microsoft windows95 환경에서 동작하는 호스트프로그램은 압축 음성 데이터를 하드 디스크나 광자기 디스크에 저장하고, 저장된 압축 음성 데이터는쉽게 검색하여 재생이 가능하다.

This paper presents an authoring system for users to create and edit multimedia documents more easily. Our system supports dynamic authoring to feedback the inconsistency that could be occurred when users authorize and flexible media synchronization. For these, we define a new time relation based on causal relation and provide an internal representation using trees and structured document parsing. The system consists of the components such as visual interface, parsing, and presentation engine. It has been implemented on Microsoft Windows 95 with Visual C++.

통계학의 개념들을 직관적으로 이해시키기 위해 기존의 교재중심 강의교육에서 탈피하여 실제적인 실험을 중시하고 컴퓨터를 교육에 활용하는 방안에 국내외적으로 많은 관심이 쏠리고 있다. 본 연구에서는 통계학의 기초개념들을 쉽게 배울 수 있는 통계교육용 멀티미디어 프로그램개발의 한 단계로서 유의성검증시 필요한 p-값(유의확률)의 의미를 정확히 이해하고 적용할 수 있도록 하는 프로그램을 개발하였다. 다양한 상황을 소리, 컴퓨터그래픽, 애니메이션, 텍스트와 동영상을 통합한 멀티미디어 환경하에서 구현하여 피교육자가 흥미를 가지고 학습함으로써 단순한 계산결과가 아니라 원리와 과정을 알 수 있도록 구성하였다. 이 프로그램은 한글 windows 95가 설치된 개인용컴퓨터에서 사용할 수 있으며 internet을 통하여 web browser에서 직접 실행할 수 있다.

This study developed practical computer program COL2 to design of generic shape reinforced concrete short columns subjected to combined compression and biaxial bending. The program COL2 has been developed for user-friendly environment using Excel 97 for windows 95. Several examples including for analysis of geometrically complex column sections subjected biaxial bending are included in this paper.

Train wheels tend to wear abrasion due to frequent Starlings and brakings. They are important factors of train safety and noise. However, it is difficult and inaccurate to measure their shape and profile manually. Profile measurement system of train wheel with image processing is proposed. The system consists of CCD cameras, PCI image grabber board, and PC operated on Windows '95. Image processing algorithms such as filtering, histogram equalization, and edge detection are presented, and some processing results are illustrated.

Pentagraphs are used to supply electric power to train via trolley lines. The higher train speed is, the higher voltage and current levels 8u. Since electric power is supplied with slinding contact, localized abrasion is inevitable. It is difficult and dangerous to measure their shape manually. Measurement system of pentagraph slider with ultrasonic processing has been reported. In this paper, measurement system with image processing is proposed. The system consists of CCD cameras, image grabber board, and PC operated on Windows'95. Image processing algorithms are presented and some results are illustrated.

본 논문은 지역적으로 분산된 환경하에서 공동작업 및 데이터 회의 등이 가능하도록 하기 위하여 특정 시스템에 있는 개인 사용자 전용의 어플리케이션 프로그램을 다수의 사용자들이 실시간으로 공유할 수 있도록 하는 어플리케이션 공유 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 GUI(Graphical User Interface) 공유 방법에 관한 연구 현황을 살펴보고 GDI(Graphic Device Interface) 훅킹(hooking) 기법에 의한 GUI(Graphical User Interface) 공유방법을 제시하고 윈도우즈95 시스템 환경에서 GDI 라이브러리를 사용한 GDI 훅킹 모듈을 설계, 구현한다.

This paper describes an overview of the system designed for 500-word speech recognition. The system is based on the triphone models and uses Dynamic Multisection(DMS) technique for pattern matching. The system is very flexible in the sense of the word-dictionary which is changable spontaneously without any training. The vocabulary selected for the experiments is 561 words of province names, district names of Seoul and Pusan. The experimental results which will be shown here are preliminary because only one speaker was involved in the experiments. But the result is satisfactory when we see the performance is 95.1%. The system is designed on the Windows-95 and works in realtime on the Pentium-133 computer.
