새우조망 어업에서 그리드와 윈도우 네트의 선택효과 (A selective effect of grid and window net in the shrimp beam trawl fishery)

  • The study aims at a selective effect of the Grid and Window net in the shrimp beam trawl. The experimental trawling of the Proto type, Grid type and Grid and Window net type was performed in a sea area of Geo-je and Tong-yeong from Mar, 2006 to Apr, 2010. The obtained results are as follows; Catch per unit area (Number) of the Proto type net and Grid type net were $0.18/m^2$, $0.23/m^2$, respectively. The Grid type demonstrated 2.4% lower bycatch rate than the proto type (6.6% vs 4.2%, respectively). In addition, in terms of total weight, the bycatch rate of Grid type was 7.6% lower than the proto type (50.2% vs 42.6%, respectively). In the comparison of shrimp catch, the Proto type demonstrated better haul outcome ($0.02case/m^2$) than the Grid & Window type ($0.02case/m^2$). The Grid & Window net type demonstrated 16.4% lower bycatch rate than the Proto type (32.2% vs 48.6%, respectively). In addition, in terms of total weight, the bycatch rate of Grid & Window net type was 8.3% lower than the Proto type (85.9% vs 94.2% respectively).

  • In order to obtain the most favourable classification system for fishing gears, the problems in the existing systems were investigated and a new system in which the fishing method was adopted as the criterion of classification and the kinds of fishing gears were obtained by exchanging the word method into gear in the fishing methods classified newly for eliminating the problems was established. 망목형 탈출장치의 선택성과 정치망에 적용 가능성 (A Study on the Selectivity of the Mesh type Escape Device and the Applicability in a Set Net)

  • This thesis is the fundamental study on the adaptation of escape device for reducing small fishes in set-net. The escape devices for experiments were made the mesh-type devices with three different mesh sizes (60.6, 75.8 and 120.0mm). The experiments of size selectivity on escape devices were conducted by using two kinds of species as black rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli) and sea perch (Lateolabrax maculatusi) in the experimental tank. The size selectivity curve was fitted by using a logistic function and the parameters of selectivity curve were estimated by a maximum likelihood method. In the results; 50% selection ranges for the mesh-type escape devices with three different mesh sizes were; a black rockfish was 18.99 in mesh size 60.6mm and 21.96 in mesh size 75.8mm (120mm could not estimate). A sea perch was 22.02 in mesh 60.6mm and 24.46 in mesh size 75.8mm (120mm could not estimate). The 50% selection range of a black rockfish was wilder than a sea perch about 1.1~.2 time. Therefore, the small fishes are able to reduce by using the mesh type escape device. However, the optimum mesh size should be decided to consider the size of target species and economics of catches.

  • 본 연구에서는 PXA255 임베디드 보드를 이용하여, Windows CE를 운영체제를 기반으로 .Net Compact Framework 플랫폼을 기반으로 동작하는 새로운 형태의 RFID 미들웨어 시스템을 설계하고 구현하였다. 제안한 임베디드 RFID 미들웨어 시스템은 RS-232를 인터페이스로 하는 다수의 RFID 센서를 LAN을 통해 제어하며, RFID 미들웨어의 필요한 각각의 기능에 따른 컴포넌트 기반으로 설계하였다. SOA 환경에서 동작하는 애플리케이션 모듈은 임베디드 RFID 미들웨어를 통해 RFID 센서들이 감지한 데이터를 전송받아 분석하고, 이에 따라 적절한 비즈니스 로직을 수행한다. 최종 사용자가 사용하게 되는 클라이언트 모듈은 애플리케이션의 웹 메소드 호출을 통채 데이터베이스로부터 RFID 관련 정보를 이용할 수 있다.

A design of transmission-type multi-target X-ray tube based on electric field modulation

  • Multi-target X-ray tube is a new type X-ray source, and can be applied in many fields such as sensitive X-ray fluorescence analysis and medical imaging. In this work, we report an electric field modulation multi-target X-ray tube, which contains four targets (Cr, Ni, Au, Mo) coated on a Beryllium (Be) window. A four-valve electric field deflector was developed to deflect the electron beam to bombard the corresponding targets. Particle dynamics analysis software was employed to simulate the particle tracking of electron beam. The results show that the 30 keV electron beam could get a 6.7 mm displacement on the target plane by 105 V/m electric field. The focus areas are about 2 mm × 5 mm and 4 mm × 2.5 mm after deflection in two directions. Thermal behavior calculated by ANSYS shows that the designed target assembly could withstand a 10 W continuous power. The optimum target thicknesses and emission spectra were obtained by Geant4 when the thickness of Be window was 300 mm and the electron beam incident angle was 0.141 rad. The results indicate that this multi-target X-ray tube could provide different X-ray sources effectively.

Breakage Detection of Small-Diameter Tap Using Vision System in High-Speed Tapping Machine with Open Architecture Controller

  • In this research, a vision system for detecting breakages of small-diameter taps, which are rarely detected by the indirect in-process monitoring methods such as acoustic emission, cutting torque and motor current, was developed. Two HMI (Human Machine Interface) programs to embed the developed vision system into a Siemens open architecture controller, 840D, were developed. They are placed in sub-windows of the main window of the 840D and can be activated or deactivated either by a softkey on the operating panel or the M code in the NC part program. In the event that any type of tool breakage is detected, the HMI program issues a command for an automatic tool change or sends an alarm signal to the NC kernel. An evaluation test in a high-speed tapping machine showed that the developed vision system was successful in detecting breakages of small-diameter taps up to M1.

  • In order to transmute long-lived radioactive nuclides such as transuranics(TRU), Tc-99, and I- l29 in LWR spent fuel, a preliminary conceptual design study has been performed for the accelerator driven subcritical reactor system, called HYPER(Hybrid Power Extraction Reactor) The core has a hybrid neutron energy spectrum: fast and thermal neutrons for the transmutation of TRU and fission products, respectively. TRU is loaded into the HYPER core as a TRU-Zr metal form because a metal type fuel has very good compatibility with the pyre- chemical process which retains the self-protection of transuranics at all times. On the other hand, Tc-99 and I-129 are loaded as pure technetium metal and sodium iodide, respectively. Pb-Bi is chosen as a primary coolant because Pb-Bi can be a good spallation target and produce a very hard neutron energy spectrum. As a result, the HYPER system does not have any independent spallation target system. 9Cr-2WVTa is used as a window material because an advanced ferritic/martensitic steel is known to have a good performance under a highly corrosive and radiation environment. The support ratios of the HYPER system are about 4∼5 for TRU, Tc-99, and I-129. Therefore, a radiologically clean nuclear power, i.e. zero net production of TRU, Tc-99 and I-129 can be achieved by combining 4 ∼5 LWRs with one HYPER system. In addition, the HYPER system, having good proliferation resistance and high nuclear waste transmutation capability, is believed to provide a breakthrough to the spent fuel problems the nuclear industry is faced with.

PC 환경에서 시뮬레이션 기능을 포함한 LAN 프로토콜 분석장비 (A LAN Protocol Analyzer including Simulation Function for PC Environment)

  • 오늘날 인터넷은 가장 주목받고 있는 정보통신 혁명을 주도하였다. 회사, 연구소, 대학교 등 다양한 직장에서는 서브넷에 이더넷망을 구축하고, 백본망에는 FDDI, ATM 등의 다양한 고속망을 구축하여 인터넷 서비스를 제공받고 있는 상황이다. 인터넷에서 핵심적으로 활용되는 TCP/IP 프로토콜 슈트의 처리과정과 그 속성의 면밀한 분석은 통신망의 문제점 파악이나 통신장비의 개발에 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 이더넷 LAN 상에서 동작되는 TCP/IP를 기반으로 하는 인터넷 프로토콜과 Netware, NetBIOS 등과 같은 비-인터넷 프로토콜을 모니터링 및 시뮬레이션하는 프로토콜 분석장비 개발을 기술하였다. 개발 환경으로는 윈도우 98 OS와 MS 비주얼 C를 사용하였다. 비주얼 C로 작성된 응용 프로그램은 NDIS 소프트웨어와 인터페이스를 수행하여 개발되었다. 또한 개발된 시스템을 실제 대학교 10Mbps 이더넷 LAN에 적용하여 인터넷 프로토콜과 비-인터넷 프로토콜 정보를 모니터링 및 시뮬레이션 하였다. 모니터링 한 결과 한 개의 패킷 처리시간은 1.5ms였다. 시뮬레이션은 TCP 접속과 해제 관점에서 살펴보았으며, 이때 TCP 접속과 해제를 한번 수행시 약 8.6ms가 소요되었다. 이 결과는 10Mbps 이더넷 LAN 환경에서 TCP/IP 프로토콜 슈트의 모니터링에는 충분한 성능을 만족하며, 아울러 네트워크 장비 개발 시 충분한 성능 검증용으로 활용될 수 있다.
