대구시 도시풍도에 대한 연구 (A Study on the City Wind Trail in Daegu)

  • The population of Daegu, the third biggest city in Korea, is two point six million. Daegu is known as a basin or a city where it is not only too hot in summer but also too cold in winter. Recently with redevelopment apartment house boom, a 40-story or more apartment complexes are under construction near Shin-cheon and Dondaegu-ro, the south-north axis of Daegu. It is necessary to raise several points about blocking a road of the wind by high-rise apartment buildings and apartment complexes. As a kind of the green policy, Daegu enlarge the distance between apartment building by reconstructing low-rise apartment into high-rise and impose a duty of a green space on the ground by making a parking zone into an underground. Through this process, apartment complexes changed from a '一'shape to a '口'shape. It increases heat island phenomenon of a city by blocking a road of the wind that comes from Shin-cheon and Dondaegu-ro. To circulate the polluted air of Daegu basin, we need local wind. There are four effective measures. 1) Throw three greens into one in the center of the road at the north side in the same way of the south side of Dongdaegu-ro, 2) reflect the information of roads of the wind including heights, spaces and directions of buildings, 3) steer clear of a high-rise buildings and development apartment house constructions, and 4)select a city for benchmarking to be the environmental capital.

산악지역 도로건설에 따른 국지 대기순환의 변화에 관한 연구 (Study on Variation of Local Atmospheric Circulation Due to Road Development in Mountain Area)

  • 얼음골 주변의 지표면 변화에 따른 중규모 대기순환장에 미치는 효과를 보기위하여 수치실험을 실시하였다. 얼음골 남북 경사면에서 발생하는 순환장은 지형과 단파복사에 의한 영향으로 다르게 나타나며, 비대칭을 이룬다. 그리고 이러한 비대칭은 18시까지 계속된다. 야간의 경우, 도로건설에 따른 대기순환장의 차이는 크지 않다. 이것은 주간 단파 복사에 의한 현열플럭스가 감소하며, 현열플럭스외의 다른 요소는 크게 영향을 미치지 않는다는 것을 의미한다. 도로의 건설은 현열플러스의 증가와 관련되고, 주간의 경우, 지형에 의한 곡풍과 결합하여 도로가 없는 경우에 비하여 상승류가 강하여진다. 최대풍속은 4.67 m/s이다. 그리고 이때 도로의 위치역시 주요한 요인으로 작용한다.

A CFD Study of Roadside Barrier Impact on the Dispersion of Road Air Pollution

  • This study evaluated road shape and roadside barrier impact on near-road air pollution dispersion using FLUENT computational fluid dynamics (CFD) model. Simulated road shapes are three types, namely at-grade, depressed, and filled road. The realizable k-${\varepsilon}$ model in FLUENT CFD code was used to simulate the flow and dispersion around road. The selected concentration profile results were compared with the wind tunnel experiments. The overall concentration profile results show good agreement with the wind tunnel results. The results showed that noise barriers, which positioned around the at-grade road, decrease the horizontal impact distance (In this study, the impact distance was defined as the distance from road surface origin coordinate to the position whose mass fraction is 0.1.) lower 0.33~0.65 times and change the vertical air pollution impact distance larger 2.0~2.27 times than those of no barrier case. In case of filled road, noise barriers decrease the horizontal impact distance lower 0.24~0.65 times and change the vertical air pollution impact distance larger 3.33~3.55 times than those of no barrier case. The depressed road increase 1.53~1.68 times the vertical air pollution impact distance. It contributes the decrease of horizontal air pollution impact distance 0.32~0.60 times compare with no barrier case.

도시 열환경을 고려한 녹지관리방안 수립 연구 (A Study on Green Space Management Planning Considering Urban Thermal Environment)

  • This study suggests plan of green space management based on the result of research apprehending the characteristic through sorting types of city thermal environment targeting summer which thermal pollution is the most serious. Considering anthropogenic heat, development level of wind road, thermal environment, as a result of types of thermal environment process, it is appeared 36 types, and 10 types is relevant of this research subject. Type I-1, size of building is large, artificial covering area is wide, and thermal load of anthropogenic heat is high, type II-1, development condition of wind road is incomplete as IIlevel, entering cold air is difficult and thermal management and improvement is needed area. Type III-1, scale is large and it is area of origin of cold air, development level of wind road is mostly favorable, type III-2 is revealed as smaller scale than III-1, and small area of origin of cold air. Type IV, anthropogenic heat is $81{\sim}150W/m^2$, average, but development function of wind road is very favorable. Type V, large area of thermal load and the origin of cold air are distributed as similar ratio, and level of development function of wind road is revealed as II level. According to standard of type classification of thermal environment, as a result of suggesting plan of green space management and biotops area ratio, type I-1 is buffer green space and waterway creation, goal biotops area ratio 35%, type II-1 afforestation in site and goal biotops area ratio 40%, type III-1, preservation plan to display the current function continuously is requested. Type IV suggests afforestation of stream current, and type V suggests quantitative increase of green space and goal biotops area ratio 45%.

Study on wind-induced vibration response of Jiayuguan wooden building

  • In this paper, the wind-induced response of Jiayuguan wooden building (world cultural heritage) in Northwest China was studied. ANSYS finite element software was used to establish four kinds of building models under different working conditions and carry out modal analysis. The simulation results were compared with the field dynamic test results, obtaining the model which reflects the real vibration characteristics of the wooden tower. Time history data of fluctuating wind speed was obtained by MATLAB programming. Time domain method and ANSYS were used to analyze the wind-induced vibration response time history of Jiayuguan wooden building, obtaining the displacement time history curve of the structure. It was suggested that the wind-induced vibration coefficient of Jiayuguan wooden building is 1.76. Through analysis of the performance of the building under equivalent static wind load, the maximum displacement occurs in the three-story wall, gold column and the whole roof area, and the maximum displacement of the building is 5.39 cm. The ratio of the maximum stress value to the allowable value of wood tensile strength is 45 %. The research results can provide reference for the wind resistant design and protection of ancient buildings with similar structure to Jiayuguan wooden tower.

도로터널 화재 시 외부 바람에 의한 연기거동 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Smoke Movement by the External Wind in Road Tunnel Fires)

  • 본 연구에서는 도로터널 화재 시 외부 바람에 의한 영향을 평가하기 위하여 축소모형 실험을 실시하였다. $1.1m{\times}0.5m{\times}50.4m$ 모형 터널에서 휘발유 4.5리터를 사용하여 실험을 실시하였다. 터널 내부의 온도, 산소와 일산화탄소 농도를 측정하였다. 외부 바람의 영향에 따라 연기의 출구 도달 시간에 차이를 보였다. 최성기 이후에는 외부 바람의 영향이 초기에 비하여 작은 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 화재로 인하여 발생한 일산화탄소가 1,500 ppm 이상 도달하여 피난자에게 치명적인 위해를 가할 수 있다.

도로 부대시설 지주구조물 설계를 위한 풍하중조합의 신뢰도 분석 (Reliability Analysis of Design Wind Load Combination for Support Structures of Subsidiary Road Facilities)

  • PURPOSES : The purpose of this study is to perform a reliability analysis of the proposed wind load combination which governs the design of support structures of subsidiary road facilities, and to evaluate whether the target reliability of the design is satisfied. METHODS : The statistical estimation method is applied and the design period of the support structure is used to obtain the statistical property of the wind load. In addition, the statistical properties of the strength of support structures are obtained from a literature review and simulation study. Actual support structures are designed by the proposed load combination and are used as the examples to examine if the target reliability is obtained. RESULTS : The result of the reliability analysis performed by using the statistical properties of load and resistance for the support structure in this study indicates that the proposed wind load combination satisfied the target reliability index of the design. Also, the convenience of the design is achieved by adopting the same design wind velocity given in the bridge design code by applying the wind velocity ratio defined for the design period of the support structure. CONCLUSIONS : It is presented that the design using the wind load combination proposed in this study achieved the target reliability index and the design wind load for different design periods can be conveniently defined by applying the velocity ratio proposed in this study.

바이모달 트램의 횡풍에 대한 동적특성 해석 (Dynamic Charncteristics for Laternl Strong Wind on Bimodal Tram)

  • A bi-modal tram can travel in not only dedicated way but also road so as to reduce construction costs and increase vehicle operation efficiency, whose passenger capacity is 2,500 to 7,000 persons/direction/hour. A bi-modal has an electronic guidance system that knows the location and route of the vehicle, and uses magnetic markers in the road surface for reference. Since a bi-modal tram will be operated in the downtown area, there is some possibility that strong wind occurred between high-rise buildings can produce sudden lateral movement (displacement) of the vehicle to influence its automatic operation controlled by electronic guidance system. For bi-modal tram in the automatic operation mode, lateral movements occurred by strong wind were calculated and analyzed in the dynamic model developed by using the ADAMS. Some useful relations among vehicle speeds, wind speeds, and lateral behaviors were discussed in this paper.

고성토 도로의 건설이 미기후 환경에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effects of High Embankment Road on the Microclimatic Environment)

  • 최근 고성토 도로건설 구간에서 거주민들이 고성토 도로가 생활환경에 영향과 경제적인 피해를 최소화 해 줄 것을 요구하는 민원이 급격하게 증가하는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 고성토 도로와 교량이 건설되는 도로구간을 연구 대상지역으로 선정하고, 3차원 미기후모델 'Envi-met'을 이용하여 도로의 건설 전과 후에 온도장과 바람장의 변화에 대한 수치해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 바람장의 분석 결과, 고성토 구간의 도로가 기류의 흐름 방해하여 바람장의 급격한 변화를 나타내었으며, 대부분 분석공간에서 풍속의 감소를 나타내었다. 그러나 교량 구간의 도로는 풍향에 미치는 영향이 크지 않았고, 풍속의 감소에 미치는 영향도 상대적으로 낮게 나타났다. 온도장의 분석 결과, 고성토 도로가 기류의 유동과 혼합을 방해하여 분석공간의 내부에서 미세한 온도의 변화가 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 도로건설 사업에서 수치모사의 이용이 미기후 변화와 교통사고 등과 같은 재난 가능성을 최소화하는데 필요한 유용한 정보를 제공할 수 있음을 나타내었다.

횡풍이 작용하는 속도로의 회전구간에서 도로의 편경사각이 주행차량의 전복사고에 미치는 영향에 관한 분석연구 (An Analytical Study of the Effect of Inclined Angle of Road on Turn-over Accident of a High-speed Coach running on a Curved Road under Cross-wind Condition)

  • 최근 경기도의 혼잡한 시간에 교통 문제를 해결하기 위해 2층 버스 서비스가 검토되고 있다. 2층 버스의 경우 높이와 폭의 비율이 일반 고속버스 보다 1.16배 이상 크며, 2층 버스의 C.G 점이 일반 버스보다 높다. 2층 버스가 고속 주행 시 강한 측면 바람 상태에서 차선 이탈과 같은 주행 안정성 문제가 특히 심각할 수 있다. 본 수치 해석 연구에서는 고속 주행 중 측면 바람 조건 및 편경사 조건에서 2층 버스의 주행 특성을 검토 하였다. 주어진 주행 조건에서 버스의 동적 안정성을 평가하기 위하여, CFD 수치 시뮬레이션을 이용하여 모델 버스의 롤링, 피칭 및 요잉모멘트를 계산하고, 도로 위 주어진 주행 조건하에서 모델 버스의 복구 각 모멘트 결과와 비교 하였다. 이 연구에서 모델 버스는 직선 도로를 따라 이동할 때 어떤 측면 바람 상태에서도 안정된 상태에 있다는 것을 알게 되었다. 그러나 버스가 측면 바람 상태에서 곡선 도로를 따라 이동 중에 측면 바람 (15m/s)에서 선회 반경이 100m 미만인 곡선 도로를 통과할 때 버스는 불안정한 조건에 동적으로 도달 할 수 있고 버스가 뒤집힐 가능성이 있다. 그러나 어떤 주행 조건에서도 모델 버스가 차선 이탈 가능성은 낮았다.
