포텐셜 유동에 의한 프로펠러-WIG선의 상호작용 및 성능해석 (Analysis of Propeller-WIG Interaction and Performance in Potential Flow)

  • 프로펠러-WIG(Wing in Ground Effect)선의 상호작용 및 성능을 포텐셜 유동에 의해 해석하였다. 프로펠러는 보오텍스 격자법(VLM)을 사용하였고 WIG선은 포텐셜 기저 패널법을 사용하여 각 경계조건을 만족시키면서 반복계산을 통하여 상호작용 및 성능을 해석하였다. 자유수면은 강체로 가정하여 경상법을 사용하였다. 프로펠러-WIG의 상호작용 및 성능을 해석하기에 앞서 발표된 실험결과와 계산결과가 있는 MP101 프로펠러와 MR-21 타의 상호작용 및 성능해석을 수행하여 개발된 프로그램의 정도를 검증하였다. 프로펠러-WIG선의 상호작용해석은 프로펠러의 부착위치, 직경 및 회전수의 변화에 따른 비행고도 높이 변화에 대한 양력 및 피치모멘트를 계산하여 비교하였다. 날개 앞에 부착된 프로펠러는 WIG선의 양력을 급격히 향상시키며 정적안정성을 향상시킴을 알았다. 따라서 적절한 프로펠러의 크기, 부착위치 및 회전수의 선택이 PARWIG선의 성능향상을 위해 필수적임을 알았다.

여성암환우의 가발착용이 두피질환에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Wig Wearing on Scalp Disorders in Female Patients with Cancer)

  • 본 연구는 여성암환우의 가발착용이 두피질환에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 향 후 암 환우들을 위한 가발 제작 시 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 실증 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 여성암 환우의 탈모용 가발 착용이 두피 가려움증에 미치는 영향은 가발착용 시 여러 가지 불편요소가 클수록 가려움을 유발하는 것으로 나타났으며 가발착용의 밀착성과 땀 분비, 심리적 위축성은 두피 가려움을 직접적으로 유발하지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 또, 여성암환우의 탈모용 가발 착용이 두피 트러블 유발에 미치는 영향에서도 가발의 탈착 시 불편 여부와 심리적 위축감이 높을 경우 두피 트러블을 유발시키는데 유의적인 영향을 미치는 반면 가발 탈착 시 밀착성과 땀 분비는 직접적인 연관이 없는 것으로 나타나 기각되었다. 이 같은 결과는 여성암 환우의 탈모용 가발 작용이 두피가려움과 트러블을 유발시킴에 있어 단순한 밀착여부와 땀 분비만으로 두피질환을 유발하지 않음을 시사한 것으로 볼 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 심적으로 고통 받는 여성 암 환우들을 위한 편리하고 우수한 가발 제작이 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

Lift/Drag Prediction of 3-Dimensional WIG Moving Above Free Surface

  • The aerodynamic effects of a 3-dimensional Wing in Ground Effect (WIG) which moves above the free surface has been numerically investigated via finite difference techniques. The air flow field around a WIG is analyzed by a Marker & Cell (MAC) based method, and the interactions between WIG and the free surface are studied by the pressure distributions on the free surface. Waves are generated by the surface pressure distribution, and a Navier-Stokes solver has been employed, to include the nonlinearities in the free surface conditions. The pressure values Cp and lift/drag ratio are reviewed by changing the height/chord ratio. In the present computations a NACA0012 airfoil with a span/chord ratio of 3.0 are treated. Through computational results, it is confirmed that the free surface can be treated as a rigid wavy wall.

WIG선의 순항 조건에 적합한 2차원 에어포일 형상 설계 (Design of Two-dimensional WIG Craft Airfoil at Cruise Condition)

  • 20인승 급 소형 위그선의 운항조건을 고려하여 순항 시 WIG선의 양항비를 최대로 할 수 있는 에어포일 형상 설계 기초연구를 수행하였다. WIG선의 순항 받음각 하에서 NACA 4 digit 에어포일의 최대 캠버 위치, 최대 캠버, 두께를 변화 시켜가며 수치해석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 최대캠버 8 미만에서 두께가 두껍고 최대캠버가 클수록 양항비가 높게 나타나는 경향을 확인할 수 있었으며, NACA6412 에어포일이 전반적으로 가장 우수한 양항비를 나타내었다.

  • There become more people suffering from cancer, so the number of cancer patients are increasing as well. However, cancer patients should go through a lot of psychological and physical stress because of side effects of drugs, especially alopecia, during the treatments for cancer. Especially female patients relatively more take care of their appearance, therefore it imposes much more psychological stress for them. Most of the patients choose wig as an alternative, but it is difficult for them to choose right wigs because of their lack of knowledge about wigs. Wigs not only make up for the bald hair but helps asthetically if patients choose right wig which goes well with their face, and eventually helps patients have self-esteem and makes them be positive in their social activities. The purpose of this research to offer right data and qualitative aid about wig, so that it can enhance the quality of cancer patients' lives.

Subscale Main Wing Design and Manufacturing of WIG Vehicle Using Carbon Fiber Composites

  • This work dealt with design and manufacturing of WIG vehicle wing using carbon/epoxy composite materials. In this study, structural design and analysis of carbon composite structure for WIG craft were performed. Firstly, structural design requirement of wing for WIG vehicle was investigated. After structural design, the structural analysis of the wing was performed by the finite element analysis method. It was performed that the stress, displacement and buckling analysis at the applied load condition. And also, manufacturing of subscale wing using carbon/epoxy composite materials was carried out. After structural test of target structure, structural test results were compared with analysis results. Through the structural analysis and test, it was confirmed that the designed wing structure is safety.

활주선의 정상 활주 상태 모델을 이용한 WIG선의 이수 상태 추정 (Estimation of WIGs' Take-off State Based on Planing Theory)

  • This paper suggests the mathematical method for the estimation of the required engine output for WIG crafts. The engine size of a WIG craft Is a key parameter in the design stage, because WIGs should overcome the hump drag during the take-off. Therefore, it is very important for a WIG designer to estimate required power and state change during take-off. The mathematical method was developed based on the steady planing state model of a planing boat. Through numerical calculations on various take-off states, it was found that the suggested method could give reasonable estimation of required power and state change during take-off.

  • Shape optimization of the 3-dimensional WIG airfoil with 3.0-aspect ratio has been performed by using the multi-objective genetic algorithm. The WIG ship effectively floating above the surface by the ram effect and the virtual additional aspect ratio by a ground is one of next-generation and cost-effective transportations. Unlike the airplane flying out of the ground effect, a WIG ship has possibility to capsize because of unsatisfying the static stability. The WIG ship should satisfy aerodynamic properties as well as a static stability. They tend to strong contradict and it is difficult to satisfy aerodynamic properties and static stability simultaneously. It is inevitable that lift force has to scarify to obtain a static stability. Multi-objective optimization technique that the individual objectives are considered separately instead of weighting can overcome the conflict. Due to handling individual objectives, the optimum cannot be unique but a set of nondominated potential solutions: pareto optimum. There are three objectives; lift coefficient, lift-to-drag ratio and static stability. After a few evolutions, the non-dominated pareto individuals can be obtained. Pareto sets are all the set of possible and excellent solution across the design space. At any selections of the pareto set, these are no better solutions in all design space

19세기 조선 왕실 여성의 머리모양 (Royal Ladies' Hair Styles of Joseon Dynasty in the 19th Century)

  • Hair style of royal ladies in the 19th century according to the wedding record of King Heon-jong and Lady Sunhwagung is studied in this paper and summarized as follows: First, Saengmeori was a bridal hair style for the wedding night in Gyeonmagi(jacket) and Daeranchima(Skirt with gold trimming). It was a typical girls' hair style before the coming-of-age ceremony. It was composed of Saengmeoridari(wig), Seockunghwang, Jogduri(Coronet decorated with Jewellery), Saengdaeng-gi(hair ribbon) trimmed pearls, and jade disk trimmed pearls. Second, Garaemeori(double bun hair style) was the hair style with Wonsam when the chosen bride went to Byeol-Gung, a special palace for the bridal. It was composed of Gareachi(wig) and Cheopji(small wig) with the frontal hair ornament, jogduri, and Saidang-gi(hair ribbon). Third, Jojimmeori(single bun hair style) is a basic hair style for the madame. It was composed of jojimmeorichilbo, jogduri, jojimmeoridari(wig), and Cheopji with a frontal hair ornament. Fourth, Keunmeori is the second most important hair style for the court ceremony. It was composed of Eoyeomjogduri, Eoyeomdari(wig), Cheopji with a frontal hair ornament, Keunmeoridari(wig), and Keunmeorichilbo. Fifth, Susik, the most important hair style for the court ceremony, is the hair style for ceremonies including the day of becoming the formal queen, the first greeting day to the King's family. It was composed of 4 kinds of wigs and Susik-chilbo.
