경사진 벽부착 제트의 열전달 특성에 대한 연구 (An Investigation on Heat transfer Characteristics of Inclined Wall Attaching Offest jet)

  • Experiments have been conducted to determine heat transfer characteristics for a two-dimen-sional turbulent wall attaching offset jet at different oblique angles to a flat surface. The local Nusselt number distributions were measured using liquid crystal as a temperature sensor. Wall static pressure coefficient profiles were measured at the Reynolds number Re 53200(based on the nozzle width, D) the offset ratio H/D from 2.5 to 10 and the oblique angle a from $0^{\circ}$, to $40^{\circ}$ It is observed that the maximum Nusselt number point occurs slightly upstream of time-averaged reattachment point for all oblique angles. The correlations between the maximum Nusselt number and Reynolds number offset ration and oblique angle are presented.

Influence of Amylose Content and Particle Size on Physicochemical Properties of Rice Flours

  • Seven rice varietes(Suweonjo, Suweon232 , BG276-5, IR44, IR41999-139, Suweon230 and Yongjubyeo) were used to study the influence of amylose content and particle size on the physicochemical properties of rice flours. Suweonjo has the highest amylose content (27.1% amylose content) had the finest flour particle as supproted by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Suweonjo had the highest value in hardness of rice grain but the lowest length/width ration. There were no significant differences in color values among the rice flours. Data of brabender visco/amylograph was not associated with amylose content. Yongjubyeo had the highest maximum viscosity and breakdown value while Suweonjo had the lowest maximum viscosity , setback value and breakdown value. Yongjubyeo had the lowest water solubility index (WSI). The Suweon232 rice variety absorbed more water than any other varieties but rice varieties and amylose contents affected water absorption a little.

  • The shape of edge cracking in rolling process generally occurred "V" shape. This cracking is successively generated at width edge of strip. The edge cracking is developed to center of strip during rolling process. In the results, the strip is occurred fracture, and the productivity is gone down because of the extensive production time. Accordingly, we need to control crack propagation during rolling process. But, the control of cracking is very difficult in rolling process. Previously the studies of edge cracking were mainly performed on hot rolling process. In this paper, the shape of the edge cracking in rolling was estimated according to process conditions such as initial edge crack size, reduction ratio and tension using FE-simulation and the simplicity experiments on cold rolling process.

  • Safety and integrity are required for reactor pressure vessels because they are operated in high temperature. There are single specimen method multiple specimen method and load ratio analysis method which used as evaluation of safety and integrity for reactor pressure vessels. In this study the fracture resistance curve(J-R curve) elastic-plastic fracture toughness($J_{IC}$) and material tearing modulus ($T_{mat}$) of SA 508 class 3 alloy steel used as reactor pressure vessel steel are measured and evaluated at room temperature 20$0^{\circ}C$ and 30$0^{\circ}C$ according to unloading compliance method and load ration analysis method. And then the comparison with experimental $J_{IC}$ and theoretical$J_{IC}$ by local fracture strain is managed.

전류 밀도가 다른 선재들의 자화손실 특성 평가 (Estimation of Magnetization loss of HTS wires with Different Current Density)

  • Magnetization loss of HTS wire is strongly dependent on the critical current density and the aspect ration of the HTS wire. This paper presents the magnetization loss of stacked BSCCO wire and stacked YBCO wires which had different critical current densities. Width of the BSCCO wire was 4mm and widths of two YBCO wires were 4mm and 8mm. Single wire, two stacked three stacked and four stacked wires were fabricated and tested. Ratio of magnetization loss of BSCCO wire to YBCO wire was presented at single wire. For stacked wire, ratio of magnetization loss of single wire to stacked wire was presented. Test results shows that magnetization losses of stacked wires were greater than that of single wire at large high magnetic field above critical magnetic field.

  • Giga bit dynamic random access memory(DRAM) requires the capacitor of high dielectric films. Some metal oxides films have been proposed as the dielectric material . And Pt is one of the most promising electrode materials. However very little has been done in developing the etching technologoy Pt film. Therefore, it is the first priority to develop the technology for plasma etching of Pt film. In this study, the dry etching of Pt film was investigated in Inductively Coupled Plasma(ICP) etching system with Cl$_2$/Ar and HBr/Cl$_2$/Ar gas mixing. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) was used in analysis of sidewall residues for the understanding of etching mechanism. We found the etch residues on the pattern sidewall is mainly Pt-Pt, Pt-Cl and Pt-Br compounds, Etch profile was observed by Scanning Electron Spectroscopy(SEM) . The etch rate of Pt film at 10%, Cl$_2$/90% Ar gas mixing ration was higher than at 100%. Ar. Addition of HBr to Cl$_2$/Ar as an etching gas led to generally higher selectivity to SiO$_2$. And the etch residues were reduced at 5% HBr/5% Cl$_2$/90% Ar gas mixing ration. 고로쇠나무 11개 자연집단의 잎의 형질 변이 분석 (Analysis of Leaf Morphological Variation of 11 Natural Populations of Acer pictum subsp. mono (Maxim.) Ohashi)

  • 고로쇠나무 11개 자연집단의 잎의 14가지 형태적 특성에 대한 변이분석을 실시하였다. Nested 분산분석 결과 14가지 양적특성들 모두에서 집단간 및 집단 내 개체 간에 유의적인 차이를 보였으며, 모든 형질들에서 총 분산 가운데 집단 내 개체 간 차지하는 비율이 집단간 차지하는 비율보다 큰 것으로 나타났다. 집단간 분화정도를 알아보고 형질간 상호비교를 위하여 표준화시킨 $D_{ij}$값은 엽신장/엽병장(0.90), 상열편폭(0.85) 및 엽신장과 중열편폭(0.83) 특성들이 다른 형질들에 비해 이탈정도가 큰 형질들로 나타났다. 또한 14가지 형태적 특성에 대한 전체평균 $D_{ij}$값은 광양(1.36)과 청양(1.30) 집단이 집단분화가 가장 큰 값을 보인반면 울주(0.30)와 정선(0.44) 집단이 가장 작은 값을 보여 조사된 집단들 중 울주와 정선집단이 고로쇠나무 잎의 형태적 특성을 대표할 수 있는 평균집단에 가까운 것으로 나타났다.

A Study on Growth and Development Information and Growth Prediction Model Development Influencing on the Production of Citrus Fruits

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the growth prediction model that can predict growth and development information influencing on the production of citrus fruits. The growth model was developed to predict the floral leaf ratio, number of fruit sets, fruit width, and overweight fruits depending on the main period of growth and development by considering the weather factors because the fruit production is influenced by weather depending on the growth and development period. To predict the outdoor-grown citrus fruit production, the investigation result for the standard farms is used as the basic data; in this study, we also understood that the influence of weather factors on the citrus fruit production based on the data from 2004 to 2013 of the outdoor-grown citrus fruit observation report in which the standard farms were targeted by the Agricultural Research Service and suggested the growth and development information prediction model with the weather information as an independent variable to build the observation model. The growth and development model for outdoor-grown citrus fruits was assumed by using the Ordinary Least Square method (OLS), and the developed growth prediction model can make a prediction in advance with the weather factors prior to the observation investigation for the citrus fruit production. To predict the growth and development information of the production of citrus fruits having a great ripple effect as a representative crop in Jeju agriculture, the prediction result regarding the production applying the weather factors depending on growth and development period could be applied usefully.

공구세장비에 따른 알루미늄합금 7075의 절삭특성 및 가공가능영역에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cutting Criteria and Cutting Characteristics Considering the Tool Slenderness Ratio for 7075 Aluminum Alloy)

  • When impeller machining needs to be machined over a length in order to avoid interference with neighboring surfaces between material and tool, there are no databases about cutting condition according to tool slenderness ratio. So selection and machining of cutting condition depends on expert's experience. Therefore, the purpose of this paper is deciding cutting condition in roughing and finishing process of impeller according to slenderness ratio of AL7075's end-mill that is the most commonly used for impeller. We have tested for about relation between Slenderness ration and fluctuation width of the cutting force, surface roughness and depth of cut ratio to observe cutting characteristics according to slenderness ratio. The experiments of cutting characteristics and processing criteria are compared with AL5052 which is existing information.

  • Most previous researches for the hybrid composite materials such as FRMLs(Al/AFRP, Al/GFRP) have evaluated the fatigue delamination behavior using the traditional fracture mechanism. However, most previous researches have not generally been firmed yet. Because delamination growth behavior in hybrid composite should be consider delamination growth rate, $dA_D$/da using the delamination shape factors, fs instead of traditional fracture mechanic parameters. The major purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between delamination shape factor, fs and delamination growth rate, $dA_D$ . And a propose parameter on the delamination aspect ratio, b/a. The details of the study are as follow : 1) Relationship between crack length, a and delamination width,b. 2) Relationship between delamination aspect ration, b/a and delamination area rate,($(A_D)_{N}(A_D)_{ALL}$. 3) Variation of delamination growth rate, $dA_D/da$ was attendant on delamination shape factors, $fs_1$, $fs_2$, $fs_3$. The test results indicated the delamination growth rate depends on delamination shape factors.
