Purpose: The study's objective was to examine the impact of brand personality dimensions on consumer behavior for laptop purchases in Nepal. Research Materials and Methods: The study included descriptive and explanatory research designs. A structured questionnaire with a purposive sampling method was employed to gather the necessary information for the study. The survey data were analyzed using a quantitative approach. The study used descriptive statistics to characterize the response conditions. Correlation analysis was used to investigate the relationship between brand personality dimensions and consumer behavior. Regression path analysis was employed to identify the effect of brand personality dimensions and consumer behavior. Results: The result of regression path analysis showed that the three dimensions - competency, ruggedness, and sophistication, have a significant effect on consumer behavior, and the two dimensions- sincerity and excitement do not have a substantial impact on consumer behavior in laptop buying in Nepal. Conclusions and Implications: Such findings can serve as pioneering empirical evidence and provide a framework for marketers and future studies in various scenarios. The study's findings can help marketing managers in handling information management. Manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers can also use the results in formulating marketing strategies, and marketers need to be aware of such considerations for influencing consumer behavior.
The purpose of this study is in investigating the tax clients for their relationship with tax preparers and the general levels of characteristics for the taxation objects, and establishing significant relationships of the two major factors-satisfaction factors and characteristics of the clients-on the satisfaction of the clients. The results of this study will provide an important basic data required for rational management of tax clients. A total of 20 sub-hypotheses were used, which can essentially be summarized into the following three major statements. The hypotheses investigation results can be summarized as below. First, as for the characteristic factors of the preparer, the taxation knowledge factor and the client satisfaction factor were found to be in a significant median positive relationship, and the experience factor and the client satisfaction factor were found to be in a relatively less significant relationship. Second, the factor on the relationship with the preparer and the client satisfaction factor were all found to be in a highly significant positive relationship. Third, in order to measure the characteristics of the taxation objects, relationships between potential tax reductions factor, probability of taxable income adjustments factor, and the client satisfaction factor were analyzed, and they were found to have positive relationships of relatively high significance. Fourth, the average for the client satisfaction factor by industry was found to be the highest for the manufacturing industry, followed by wholesalers and retailers. Other sectors showed little deviation from the average of 4.9, but this factor was not statistically significant. Fifth, the average difference examination of the satisfaction levels for the clients with or without experience of taxable income adjustments showed that those without experience of taxable income adjustments had higher satisfaction levels. Sixth, 12 study hypotheses had been proposed in order to investigate the relationship between the client satisfaction factors and the client satisfaction levels according to the characteristics of clients. Among the 12 sub-hypotheses, except for the study hypothesis of investigating the relationship between the tax preparer's taxation knowledge and the client's satisfaction levels according to the experience of taxable income adjustments, 11 study hypotheses were all not adopted.
This study was conducted to analyze the current management status of green tea processors in two regions (Hadong-gun and Boseong-gun) in Korea and to suggest directions for the development of the green tea industry based on an understanding their difficulties in management. This study showed that the number of green tea farms and the cultivation area had decreased, while the average unit sales price of green tea in Boseong-gun was approximately three times higher than that in Hadong-gun. Also, this study found that Hadong-gun mainly provided green tea products to wholesalers, whereas Boseong-gun sold it directly to the local retail stores targeting tourists, and this results in generating relatively higher unit prices. Meanwhile, we discovered that both regions had difficulties in management which were caused by the demand for low delivery unit costs from large corporations and small food companies. Therefore, in order to develop the green tea industry in both regions, the size of green tea fields and the scenery satisfaction should be improved to draw more tourists and boost tourists' intention to revisit. In addition, it is necessary to enhance guidance and accessibility of related tourist sites, to expand green tea experience activities, and to improve product satisfaction by developing various goods. By inducing more tourists in these ways, it could change the sales type of green tea from wholesale to retail and help activate the management of green tea processors.
The purpose of this research is to create a polyester sample book that serves as a point of reference that exporters in the Taegu area can allude to when exporting to the U.S. By getting this project off the ground, we can expect to make a worthy contribution to the manufacture of high-quality, value-added fashion & textile goods. The research was conducted as follows. First, a study was carried out in the local market ensued by consumer surveys with regards to consumer attitude on man-made fibers, market researches, and interviews with experts, all in conjunction with the Color Association of the U.S. Also, a diverse array of fabric swatches were collected from Manhattans fabric wholesalers and then classified by color and fabric type fur the sample book. In short, this research found that man-made fibers have full marketability in the U.S. Thus, in order for Taegus synthetic textile firms to be successful in exporting to the US, it is essential that they come up with fabrics that have properties resembling natural fibers such as having a soft hand, natural sheen, smooth draping, and diverse textures as well as being in line with the current trends. In addition, it is also necessary to develop fabrications that are versatile and functional. Thus, by developing innovative fabrications, the synthetic textile business will turn toward the production of high-quality synthetics and will also provide a platfrom for strengthening the competitive edge of Koreas textile & fashion business.

The quality of agricultural products is very important factor for consumers. In Japan, quality is sometimes more important than cost. Usually, the quality of fresh food products is determined in terms of shape, color, size, etc. However, these indices are not always associated with taste, leaving consumers to complain. Recently, two types of the fruit quality meter (a tabletop type - K-FS200 and a portable type - K-BA100, Kubota Corp.) using NIR technology were introduced in Japan. A tabletop instrument is for post harvest use and a portable one is for precision agriculture use. The both meters use the NIR region from 600nm to 1000nm in the interactance mode to determine quality factors related to taste. The instruments can measure sugar content and acidity of such fruit as apples, tomatoes, tangerines and other fruits. The measurement is timely, nondestructive and precise. For example, the coefficient of variation (CV) is less than 6% for sugar in most fruits. The K-FS200 has been evaluated in supermarkets, grading facilities, and wholesalers in Japan. The introduction of the K-FS200) has drawn attention to taste quality and its use is becoming more popular. In addition, researchers or farmers are becoming interested in measuring product ingredient not only after harvest but also during growing in the field so that they can make intelligent judgements concerning soil amendments, such as fertilizers and water, employs the fiber probe for flexible measurement and is battery powered for field use. Design of the fruit quality meters will be discussed. Applications to fruit quality will be presented.
Background: Health statistics of pharmaceutical use and expenditure are essential to make and implement evidence-based pharmaceutical policy. This study aims to demonstrate the methods and results of pharmaceutical consumption and sales in 2018 according to the sources and methods given by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD). Methods: The medication list contains 39,346 medicines both reimbursed and non-reimbursed by the National Health Insurance in 2018. We used the therapeutic categories based on Anatomic Therapeutic Chemical Classification of World Health Organization. This study analyzed National Health Insurance claims data and supply data generated from wholesalers to health care facilities. The indicators are defined daily dose (DDD), per 1,000 inhabitants per day and US$ per capita. Results: In South Korea, the number of medications to which DDD were assigned was 18,055 and it was 45.9% of the total number of medications on the list. The consumption in anti-infective for systemic use (J) and musculo-skeletal system (M) was higher than the mean consumption among the OECD countries. The pharmaceutical sales per person in Korea was also higher than the mean sales per person across the OECD countries. Conclusion: We sought to explain the methods to produce pharmaceutical consumption and sales statistics which we had submitted annually to OECD. Considering the characteristics of pharmaceutical statistics, a direct comparison should be approached with caution. Since the growth in pharmaceutical spending has greatly increased over the past decade, we need to monitor pharmaceutical consumption and expenditure consistently.
This study estimated the size of ornamental fish market as the basis survey for the development of the ornamental fish industry in Korea. It presents improvement projects agendas for the development of the Korean ornamental fish industry by investigating the challenges of the ornamental fish industry and consumer awareness. First, looking at the size of the ornamental fish market, calculated on the basis of survey results, the size of ornamental fish market is analysed as 231.8 billion won. The actual ornamental fish market is presumed to be much larger than this considering unclear gross sales from e-commerce and group sales, goods excluded from the ornamental fish export, expensive ornamental fish transaction from smuggling are missing. Ornamental fish industry and consumer awareness survey results can be described as follows: First, revenue structure of the ornamental fish market depends on a handful of expensive purchasing group rather than on low-cost consumption group. Second, many members of the ornamental fish producers, wholesalers, road shops are small-scale. Third, the sale of aquarium fish and aquarium fish related supplies in road shop have different market structures. Fourth, ornamental fish consumption is in the ongoing recession. Fifth, ornamental fish industry hopes for expansion of distribution and Research & Development. Sixth, satisfaction of ornamental fish consumers is generally low. As described above, ornamental fish industry in Korea are vulnerable in the market structure and industry is small and the consumer's satisfaction degree is staying in the 'normal' level. If current state will continue, future consumption can be reduced. It is necessary to increase the competitiveness by using various method including reorganization of the structure of the ornamental fish industry even though it is hard to reach conclusion only with the results of the survey.

The main problem of consumer behavior is choice since the outcome of me of a choice can only be known in the future, consumers are forced to deal with the risks of und\certainty. So, perception of risk is pivotal aspect of consumer behavior. This study was designed to investigate the relationships between purchasing behavior of textile and perceived risk. Data were obtained from 276 housewives. ANOVA, x2-test were employed to analyse the data. The result were : 1. general features of textile purchase behavior are as follows. Blend wools and pure wool products are prefered. Fall is the major season in purchasing textile. Wholesalers, department stores and agent stores are prefered. Purchasing decision making process independent upon not only textile itself but the practice value of the textile. Purchasing textile, married young women depend on outward shape of the textile, middle and old aged groups depend on the economic value of the textile and the credibility of the stores. 2. Perception of risk is relatively high in the preference of store, color/design, and psycological uncertainty. But the perceived risks is relatively low in brand, price and social credibility. 3. There is significant relationship between the recognition rate of risk and the sensitiveness of the consumer. In addition, there are strong relationship between the risk rate and the preference of shop, brand, and price. On the other hand, there are no significant relationship between the color, design, and sociopsyco-logical risk and demographic variables. 4. The perceived risk of consumer would be a key stone to grasp the consumer behavior. The product company needs to provide full information which could reduce the perceived risk of consumer. there attitude would help for the mutual interests. In the future research, we need to develop the precise methods for finding variables on the perceived risk during the process of making purchase intention.
The purpose of this study was to inves-tigate the economic performance of the textile industry for the Korean traditional clothes. The content of this paper had two pars; The first part was for the macroeconomic aspects such as location production employments and the produc-tion facilities of the textile industries. The second part was for the microeconomic aspects such as business type branding method fabric type R&D efforts sourc-ing and the distributional channel The major results were as follows: 1.) Most textile firms for the korean traditional clothes were located in Gongju for man-made fibers and in Jinju for silk fabrics. 2) The size of the textile industry in terms of the number of business produc-tion amount the number of employee de-creased during 1994 and 1995 due to the decreasing demand. 3) Over the half of the textile firms produced raw fabric products while only 20% of them were involved in additional dyeing and /or printing finish which re-sulted in low value added production 4) The R&D effort of the textile indus-try for the Korean traditional clothes was very low due to the market uncertainty lack of technological knowledge and most of all small size of the firms 5) Most raw materials for the textile in -dustry were imported with high(25%) tariff rates resulting in price increase and thus low competitiveness in the market. 6) The textile producers sole about the 70% of their products to the wholesalers while selling the rest to the retailers di-rectly. This showed the dual structure of the distribution channel in the textile products. These results suggested some implica-tions for the firms the policy makers and the researchers. The firms should develop new and improved products to increase and create consumer demand by intensive R&D efforts. The government policy ma-kers should give financial supports the firms with R&D investment and legal help such as lowing tariff rate for the raw ma-terials. The researchers from the academy could help the textile industry with the advanced technological knowledge and up-date information for the consumer fashion demand.
