Objective : The purpose of this study is to report about a 50's female patient after Hemorrhoidectomy, whose symptoms were relieved after Korean medicine treatment with Whidam's SuGi Therapy. Methods : The patient in this study received Korean medicine treatment such as herbal medication, acupuncture treatment, cupping therapy and specially Whidam's SuGi therapy. Results : After the treatment, the symptoms of pains were relieved. Vas fell from 9 to 2 and overall, the body condition has improved. Conclusions : This study showed that Whidam's SuGi therapy added with Korean Medicine treatment can be an effective choice for after Hemorrhoidectomy.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report the results of treating patients with acute low back pain syndrome who are difficult to walk with Whidam's Vibrator Pelvic Sugi Therapy. Methods : We used combinations of korean medicine such as herbal medicine, acupuncture, cupping therapy, and thermal therapy. At the same time, the patient was treated with Whidam's Vibrator Pelvic Sugi Therapy. The first period of hospitalization was 14 days and the second period was 54 days. At the second hospitalization, back pain recurred and was unable to walk. At the first hospitalization, L5-S1 HIVD and L4-5 Mild HIVD were diagnosed on lumbar MRI, and there was no abnormality in blood tests. Results : By relieving muscle tension and restoring the weakened muscle elasticity with herbal treatment and Whidam's Vibrator Pelvic Sugi Therapy, back pain decreased and the inability to walk gradually improved, making it possible to walk on its own. Conclusions : The results of standing and walking on one's own were obtained by relieving muscle tension and restoring weakened muscle elasticity in acute back pain syndrome with gait disturbance diagnosed with lumbar herniated intervertebral disc through korean medicine treatment and Whidam's Vibrator Pelvic Sugi Therapy. Whidam's Vibrator Pelvic Sugi Therapy is thought to help acute back pain by restoring muscle elasticity and strengthening muscle strength. In the future, it is expected that additional clinical studies will be conducted on various pain diseases with Whidam's Vibrator Pelvic Sugi Therapy.

Objectives : This paper is to report a natural pregnancy of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy with korean medical treatment on a infertile patient who had a missed abortion and was repeatedly failed in IVF-ET. Methods : A patient who had infertility problem had a missed abortion, endometrial curettage and IVF-ET several times. In this study, the patient steadily took a Whidam's Su-Gi therapy with korean medical treatment such as herbal medication, acupuncture, and cupping therapy, and so forth. Results : Through taking Whidam's Su-Gi therapy without assisted reproduction techniques, the patient got pregnant naturally. Conclusions : This case suggest that Whidam's Su-Gi therapy with korean medical treatment is effective in treating infertile female after missed abortion and failure in IVF-ET and inducing natural pregnancy. Therefore, there needs to be more trial on infertile patients treated with Su-Gi therapy with korean medical treatment.

Objective : This report aimed to provide an introduction to the clinical application of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy to low back pain. Methods : Whidam's Su-Gi therapy for low back pain consisted of manual therapy according to upward and downward evaluations. Upward evaluation items include SLR, hip joint LOM, legs raising together, raising knee and turning left and right, and waist raising. Downward evaluation items include spinal alignment in sitting position, shoulder part tension, and cervical part tension. After performing the manual therapy according to the evaluation at each stage, the pain and dysfunction are reevaluated to confirm the negative and proceed to the next step. Conclusions : The clinical application of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy to low back pain is a method of interpreting and approaching low back pain disease with the theory of attraction pathology according to the principle of ChoGi-therapy(調氣療法).

Objective : This paper provides a narrative review of the research literature on the neurophysiological and neurochemical mechanisms of local vibration while studying the treatment principles and mechanisms of Whidam's vibrator Sugi therapy. Methods : Searches related to vibration therapy research were conducted in PUBMED using "Vibration", "Whole Body Vibration", "Localized Vibration", and "Focal Vibration". The Conditions were limited to review and systematic review. Results : Roberto Casale's paper was selected as an inquiry task and reviewed critically and narratively by referring to other papers. The stimulation process of local vibration (LV) was broadly classified into receptor transmission (pain reception phase), ascending sensory pathway to the spinal cord (segmental phase), and action of the cortex and subcortical structures (systemic control phase) according to the pain pathway. In addition, the role of C-tactile mechanoreceptors, changes in neurotransmitters and neurohormones, LV stimulation below perception threshold (lower threshold), pain control and kinesiologic illusions were specially addressed. In addition, the expression and function of Piezo Channels were added to supplement the human pain and tactile sensing mechanism. Conclusions : LV exerts pain control mechanisms through different interactions that can interfere with pain transmission and pain perception. Since LV provides sufficient neurophysiological reasons for clinical application, it is necessary to expand the use of Whidam's vibrator Sugi therapy to a wider range of clinical applications.

Objective : A common treatment for hypothyroidism is to supplement the deficient hormones. However, taking hormone medication does not improve clinical symptoms or side effects, so it is necessary to develop other improved treatments. The purpose of this study is to report that the Korean medicine treatment along with Whidam's Gokgol(CV2) Sugi therapy has improved symptoms of hypothyroidism and related the level of TSH, free T4 after halting the use of levothyroxine. Methods : We employed Korean medicine treatment; herbal-medication(延齡固本丹 and 加減平胃散), acupuncture, and cupping therapy, and so forth. At the same time, we treated the patient with Whidam's Sugi therapy(especially, Gokgol Sugi therapy). We treated the patient more than five times a week for the first month and treated more than three times a week for the next three months. Since then, we have treated the patient once or twice a week. The patient took a total of four blood tests during her treatment in 2012 and 2017. Results : 1. Both TSH and free T4 levels and clinical symptoms were normalized for patient with hypothyroidism who stopped taking levothyroxine by treating the patient with Korean medicine treatment and Whidam's Sugi therapy. 2. The combination of Korean medicine treatment and Whidam's Sugi therapy was also used in the case of subclinical hypothyroidism patient. 3. The combination of Korean medicine treatment and Whidam's Sugi therapy for hypothyroidism lasted for five years, not just for a short period of time. Conclusions : The combination of Korean medicine treatment and Whidam's Sugi therapy(especially, Gokgol Sugi therapy) was effective in the treatment of hypothyroidism and it helped to normalize the level of TSH, free T4. It is hoped that further clinical research will continue in the future so that it can be used not only for hypothyroidism but also for other endocrine diseases.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report about a mid-40's female patient with Prurigo Nodularis, whose symptoms were relieved after Korean medicine treatment alone with Whidam's Su-Gi Therapy. Methods : the patient in this study received only Korean medicine treatment such as herbal medication, acupuncture treatment, cupping therapy and specially Whidam's Su-Gi therapy. Results : After the treatment, the symptoms of Prurigo Nodularis were relieved. Contact Itching Index fell from 10 to 5, and Non-Contact Itching Index fell from 10 to 4. On the whole the Body Heat has risen and skin condition has improved visually. The significance of Meridian Function Check(based on HRV) and skin syndrome is remarkable., Conclusions : This study showed that Whidam's Su-Gi therapy added with Korean Medicine treatment can be an effective choice for Prurigo Nodularis. So, wasting disease, especially immune-reduced syndrome such as Prurigo Nodularis, may also be treated with Korean Medicine alone without side effects.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to understand a medical Gigong's view of the human body through the analysis of medical Gigong techniques, and to understand the concept and treatment principle of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy as the Angyo(按蹻) Method of Doin Angyo(導引 按蹻) Methods : Among Medical Gigong, Sojucheon practice, Moosim-Gigong Riding stance, Moosim-Gigong Doinbeop, Hwalinsimbang Doinbeop and Donguibogam Jang-Bu Doinbeop were selected to analyze the practice method. The medical Gigong's views of the human body are organized into overviews and pathological perspective. The main concepts and clinical techniques of Whidam's Su-Gi therapy were summarized. Discussion : Understanding the principles of medical Gigong is necessary in order to understand the Angyo method of Doin Angyo. The principle of medical Gigong is to circulate around Three-Danjeon(丹田) on the human belly and Three-Gwan(關) on the human back by practicing medical Gigong, and to strengthen the life force by activating the viscera function by communicating between the limbs and the body. If there are Jeokchwi(積聚) and deviation, Whidam's Su-Gi therapy eliminates the Jeokchwi and adjusts the deviation. Conclusions : 1. The Angyo method of Doin Angyo originates from the practice of training to establish Danjeon for the right body and the right flow of air. 2. The principles of medical Gigong obtained through the analysis of Sojucheon(小周天) practice, Moosim-Gigong Riding stance, Moosim-Gigong Doinbeop, Hwalinsimbang Doinbeop and Donguibogam Jang-Bu Doinbeop are the medical Gigong's view of the human body and pathological perspective. 3. Whidam's Su-Gi therapy, which focuses on the elimination of Jeokchwi and the adjustment of deviation based on the medical Gigong's view of the human body, is a manual therapy that inherits the principle of the Angyo Method of Doin Angyo.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to report that patients with panic disorder were able to discontinue the psychotropic medication through Korean Medicine treatment alone. Methods : The patient diagnosed with panic disorder were hospitalized on the 9th and were treated steadily through outpatient treatment afterwards with herbal medicine, acupuncture, cupping therapy, and Whidam's Sugi therapy while taking the chemical. Treatment effects were evaluated through BAI, BDI, STAI-X-1, CSEI-s, GIS, NDI-K, and EQ-5D measurements. Results & Conclusions : The patient's anxiety was relieved and the psychotropic medication was discontinued, but it did not recur. And after inpatient treatment, he has been steadily receiving outpatient treatment on a regular basis, maintaining an improved state and leading a normal daily life.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to introduce Whidam's Su-Gi therapy(WST.) as a remarkable traditional manual therapy. Main subject : WST. is a traditional manual therapy from Do-In(導引) An-Kyo(按蹻) that treats disease by controlling Gi(Gi-Gong therapy). It makes treatment effects by pushing Sa-Gi(邪氣) which becomes aggregation-accumulation(積聚) to right places by using pointillage, stroking, and rubbing with doctor's focused intention(意念). The cervical spine connects body and brain, so treating cervical spine could be a foundation of all treatment. Discussion : WST. is a manual therapy that treats not only muscles, nerves, vessels, joints but also Oriental medicine concept-meridian, acupoint and Gi(氣). Conclusions: 1) WST. is a traditional manual therapy using Gi-Gong, 2) WST. changes Sa-Gi(邪氣) into Jung-Gi(正氣), which means curing aggregation-accumulation(積聚), 3) Cervical WST. treats a passage that connects upper and lower parts of human body; heart and brain, and 4) Cervical WST. is a treatment to activate So-Ju-Cheon(小周天), which controls human body immunity.
