  • Recently FPD(Flat Panel Display) is used in various field to display enormous information. So cutting technique of flat panel display is needed for producing variety display merchandises. In present, cutting methods of flat panel glass includes breaking process. But this process occurs many glass particles. This glass particles are directly related badness of merchandise and falling productivity. In this paper, to cut front substrate glass of LCD and to get optimized cutting condition are tried fur eliminating breaking process with developed glass cutting machine using a Piezoelectric ceramics actuator. It is known that the vibration of Piezoelectric Ceramic have effect in crack proceeding through the analysis of fracture section.

저응력하의 철/크롬 올버레이합금의 긁힘마모기구 (Low streee Abrasive Wer mechanism of the Iron/Chromium Hardfacing Alloy)

  • This study investigated the relationships between the microstructure and the wear resistance of hardfaced iron/chromium alloys to examine the low stress abrasive wear mechanism. The effects of volume fraction of reinforcing phases(chromium carbide and eutectic phase) were studied. The alloys were deposited once or twice on a mild steel plate using a self-shielding flux cored arc welding process. The low stress abrasion resistance of he alloys against dry sands was measured by the Dry Sand/Ruber Wheel Abrasion Tester (RWAT). The wear resistance of hypoeutectic alloys, below 0.36 volume fraction of chromium-carbide phase (VFC), behaved as Equal Pressure Mode (EPM) for the inverse rule of mixture whereas the wear resistance of hypereutectic alloys, above 0.36 VFC, represented Equal Wear Mode (EWM) for the linear rule of mixture.

  • The effect of matrix phase (austenite, pearlite, martensite) on the low stress abrasion resistance in the chromium-carbide-type high Cr white iorn hardfacing weld deposites has been investigated. In order to examine matrix phase, a series of alloys with different matrix phase by changing the ratio of Cr/C system by heat treatment were employed. The alloys were deposited twice on a mild steel plate using self-shielding flux cored arc welding process. The low stress abrasion resistance of the alloys against sands was measured by the Dry Sand/Rubber Wheel Abrasion Test(RWAT). Even though formation of pearlite phase in the matrix showed higher hardness than that of austenite, there was no observable difference in wear resistance between the pearlite and austenite phase for the same amount of chromium-carbide in the matrix. On the other hand, the formation of martensitic phase,, from heat treated austenitic alloys (high content of Cr), enhanced wear resistance due to its fine secondary precipitates.

  • The effect of volume fraction of Cr carbide phase (Cr CVF) on the low stress abrasion resistance in the chromium-carbide-type high Cr white iron hardfacing weld deposits has been investigated. In order to examine Cr CVF, a series of alloys with varying Cr CVF by changing chromium and carbon contents and the ratio of Cr/C were employed. The alloys were deposited once or twice on a mild steel plate using the self-shielding flux cored arc welding process. The low stress abrasion resistance of the alloys against sands was measured by the Dry Sand/Rubber Wheel Abrasion Test (RWAT). It was shown that hardness and abrasion resistance increased with increasing Cr CVF within the whole test range (Cr CVF : 0.23-0.64). Both primary Cr carbide and eutectic Cr carbide were particularly effective in resisting wear due to their high hardness.

수레질 압인 덧살 물레 기벽 늘림 기법에 관한 연구 (A Study of Bating Sealing Weld Outer Wall Extension Technique)

  • 본 논문은 전통적인 도예기법을 응용하여 새로운 기법을 창안하는데 목적을 둔다. 말하자면 가장 핵심적인 새로운 방법은 체바퀴 타래기법의 토레미판위에 여러 형태의 문양을 압인한 덧살(weld 새롭게 창안한 용어)을 이용하여 물레 위에 소지(역자 주--흙)로 만든 원통에 붙여서 최초로 전기물레의 빠른 회전에 의해 안에서 밖으로 밀어내어 기존 기벽 문양의 자유로운 해체와 왜곡된 문양을 표현하여 미적 아름다움을 극대화하는 컨셉이다. 이러한 미학소스의 주요 관점은 도자기 표면의 대부분 구형태의 곡면인데 마치 지구본에 그려진 지표처럼 왜곡되어 보이는 현상이 일어나는데, 늘려 찌그러진 형태와 왜곡된 문양의 자유로운 표현 해체를 통해 다이나믹하고 역동적이면서 해학적인 표현 기법을 창안하게 되었는데 이 기법을 수레질 압인 덧살 기벽 물레 늘림 기법(bating sealing weld outer wall extension technique)이라고 정하였다.

강판형교 바닥판 모멘트의 해석기법 (Analytical Method for Bending Moment of Slab-on-Steel-Girder Bridge)

  • 현재 현장에서 건설되어지는 콘크리트교량의 바닥판은 상부와 하부에 동일한 철근을 배근한다. 바닥판 상부철근의 부분적인 제거는 구조적인 측면에서 볼 때, 안전성을 위협하지 않는다는 경험적인 연구 결과들이 발표되어왔다. 판이론에 근거하여 강판형교의 3거더와 4거더시 바닥판의 구조적인 거동을 수식적으로 표현하는 간략화 된 방법을 유도하였다. 거더간 상대처짐을 고려한 간략화 된 방법은 유한요소해석의 결과치와 유사한 값을 얻을 수 있었다. 본 연구에서는, 바닥판 슬래브의 새로운 설계개념이 간략화 된 방법을 통해서 제안되었다. 간략화 된 방법의 변수는 하중위치, 형상비, 상대강성비 그리고 지간 길이 등을 선정하였다. 이 새로운 설계접근방법은 바닥판 상부 철근량을 감소시켜줄 것이다. 바닥판 상부 철근량의 감소는 건설비용의 감소와 철근의 부식문제를 최소화 시켜줄 수 있을 것이다.

  • The purpose of this paper is to study and analyze the improvement method for the failure examples including the vehicle brake system in actual field. It was verified that the indicator plate of pad wear scratched the brake disk because of wearing after displacement of non- identification parts pad. The caliper of other vehicle was installed with brake system verified the phenomenon produced groove in center point because of one side wear when the pad was not fully contacted with the rub disk by other action surface pressure and pad action condition. It verified that the crack phenomenon fatigue was produced by brake thermal deformation because of decreasing the thickness by grinding to modify the non-uniformed wear of brake disk. It verified that the friction sound was produced by the friction phenomenon because of non-uniformed contact of lining and an alien substance with inner of the drum and lining braking by crack phenomenon with brake drum surface.

Satellite FEM Validation test for High Frequency Jitter Analysis

  • The aim of the test is to provide an experimental basis to validate the prediction of the FEM for high frequency jitter analysis due to reaction wheel. The principle is to measure structural transfer functions between the input disturbances at RWA base plate and the accelerations near the end tips of payload, in a configuration close to the operational model. The spacecraft shall have to be suspended, in order to be representative of on-orbit boundary conditions. The results of the test shall be compared to the output of the FEM analysis, and if needed, local upgrades of the FEM and/or margin policy shall be defined in order to guarantee a good test/FEM consistency. Test results were compared with the transfer functions of the FEM, which is globally tuned based on the results of vibration test and consequently have lower damping coefficients values than 1% in the frequency range of 60~200Hz. The damping coefficients estimated from the figures of FRF test results are different from the theoretical FEM, but the magnitude trend of FRF of the test results is somewhat similar with the analytical, it is expected that the overall jitter effect of final estimation is nearly same with the preliminary analysis result in which the damping coefficients were assumed to be 1% for all modes in FEM.

  • 현재 선박이나 교각 해양플랜트는 많은 철판으로 구성이 되어 있다. 특히 해양플랜트와 선박에는 오랜시간 바다에 있으므로 각종 해양생물들이 붙어 번식을 한다. 이러한 해양생물은 선박의 속도 및 연료 소모에 상당한 영향을 미친다. 그러므로 선박이나 해양플랜트 구조물은 정기적으로 벽면에 서식하는 해양생물을 제거하고 있으며 이러한 제거과정과 도장을 다시하는 과정에서 작업자들에게 위험이 따른다. 본 연구는 선박이나 해양플랜트와 같은 철로된 구조물의 위험한 작업을 대신할 로봇의 기반인 철판 벽면을 이동하는 로봇을 연구하였다. 현재 많은 벽면 로봇들이 연구되고 있다. 영구자석 또는 전자석 휠을 사용하거나 공압을 이용하여 수직벽면에서 작업을 한다. 특히 공압 방식을 많이 사용하였는데 수직벽면에 로봇이 밀착될 만큼 강한 공압이 필요하게 되기 때문에 부가적인 장치가 많이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 부가적인 장치를 최소화하고 효과적인 동작을 하기위해 전자석 방식을 선택 하였으며 간편하게 선박의 수직벽면을 작업할 수 있는 전자석 방식의 4 륜 로봇을 개발하고자 한다. 선박의 수직벽면 작업용 4 륜구동 로봇을 전자석을 이용하여 수직벽면에 부착할 수 있도록 설계하였으며 자력의 세기와 방향을 제어하여 로봇이 선박의 수직면에 밀착되어 자유롭게 이동이 가능하도록 개발 하고자 한다.

Modeling the clutch energy and clutch life of a heavy duty vehicle

  • Clutch energy is the thermal energy dissipated on the clutch disc, and it reaches its highest level during drive-off as a result of the difference between the angular speeds of the flywheel and clutch disc, and the torque transmitted. The thermal energy dissipated effects the clutch life. This study presents a new drive-off and thermal model to calculate the clutch energy for a rear wheel driven heavy-duty vehicle and to analyze the effects of clutch energy on temperatures of clutch pressure plate, flywheel and clutch housing. Three different driver profiles are used, based on the release of the clutch pedal in modulation zone: i) the pedal travels with the same speed all the way, ii) the travel speed of the pedal increases, iii) the travel speed of the pedal decreases. Vehicle test is performed to check the accuracy of the model. When compared to a simpler model that is widely used in the literature to calculate the clutch energy, the model used in this study calculates the clutch energy and angular speed behaviors of flywheel and transmission input shaft in better agreement with experimental results. Clutch wear and total clutch life are also estimated using the mean specific friction power.
