초음파 습식 자기분류법을 이용한 MgxNiyZn1-x-yFe2O4 나노입자 제조 (Preparation of Nano-sized MgxNiyZn1-x-yFe2O4 by Ultrasonic Wet-Magnetic Separation Method)

  • $Mg_xNi_yZn_{1-x-y}Fe_2O_4$ ferrite powders were prepared by self-propagating high temperature synthesis followed by classifying with an ultrasonic wet-magnetic separation unit to get high pure nano-sized particles. The $Mg_xNi_yZn_{1-x-y}Fe_2O_4$ ferrites were well formed by using several powders like iron, nickel oxide, zinc oxide and magnesium oxide at 0.1 MPa of oxygen pressure. The ultrasonic wet-magnetic separation of pre-mechanical milled ferrite powders resulted in producing the powders with average size of 800 nm. The addition of a surfactant during the wet-magnetic separation process improved productivity more than twice. The coercive force, maximum magnetization and residual magnetization of the $Mg_xNi_yZn_{1-x-y}Fe_2O_4$ nano-powders with 800 nm size were 3651 A/m, $53.92Am^2/kg$ and $4.0Am^2/kg$, respectively.

  • This study presents the results of an overall effort to detemine the applicability of the chemical wet process informing lead titanate electronic ceramics. Although pure lead titanate has not proven to be an important technological materials when prepared via conventional processing procedures this work is interesting as a study of chemical wet processing and a way of preparing pbTiO3 for study. The result obtained from this experiment were as follows ; Optimum synthesis condition which synthesize PbTiO3 by chemical wet process was obtained by firing at 50$0^{\circ}C$ after mixing $Pb(OH)_2$- gel and $Ti(OH)_4$ -gel at 7$0^{\circ}C$ for 4 hours.

  • Shape and size controlled synthesis of gold particles has been studied by using wet-chemical method. When ${AuCl_4}^-$ in aqueous $HAuCl_4$ precursor was reduced using $Na_2SO_3$ as a reducing agent, mixtures of spherical, triangular and hexagonal particles were prepared in a few minutes. It was found that the shape selective oxidative etching by ${AuCl_4}^-\;+\;Cl^-$ anions and crystal growth took place simultaneously. As the ${AuCl_4}^-$ and $Cl^-$ concentration increased, yields of large triangular and hexagonal plate type particles increased, while the spherical particles decreased in most cases. Possible etching and growth mechanisms are discussed.

  • Ultra fine and homogeneous (Ni0.4Zn0.6)Fe2O4 ferrite powders were prepared by direct-wet, Hydrothermal and coprecipitation methods. In case that specific surface areas of Ni-Zn ferrite powders were over 220㎡/g, 100㎡/g, 30㎡/g individually direct-wet, hydrothermal and coprecipitation methods. The Ni-Zn ferrite magnetic fluids of which Solvents were benzene or kerosene was prepared by making cation surfactant adsorbed on the surface of the (Ni0.4Zn0.6)Fe2O4. The results that measured dispersion and viscosity by making cation surfactant adsorbed were as follows. 1. The adsorption amount of Oleric acid be proportioned the specific surface area of powders. 2. The maximum amount of Oleric acid was 36wt% of dried powders which has 220㎡/g of specific surface area. 3. The stability of fluid by direct-wet synthesis emthod in benzene or kerosene solvent excellent.

  • In this study, PZT powder prepared by the wet direct process was synthesized. As starting materials, $TiCl_4$. $ZrOCl_2{\cdot}8H_2O$ and PbO were used. Uniformly shape and fine-grained PZT powder was obtained by the wet-direct process and PZT powder was characterized by XRD, DTA analysis. The X-ray diffraotion peaks from the PZT powder were observed at 700($^{\circ}C$) or over.

Synthesis of Cathode Material-Nickel Sulfides by Mechanical Alloying for Sodium Batteries

  • In this study, fine cathode materials $Ni_3S_2$ and $NiS_2$ were synthesized using the simple, convenient process of mechanical alloying (MA). In order to improve the cell properties, wet milling processes were conducted using low-energy ball milling to decrease the mean particle size of both materials. The cells of Na/$Ni_3S_2$ and Na/$NiS_2$ show a high initial discharge capacity of 425 mAh/g and 577 mAh/g respectively using wet milled powder particles, which is much larger than commercial ones, providing some potential as new cathode materials for rechargeable sodium-ion batteries.

  • In this study we are going to develop the process of a synthesis about BaTiO3 at the room temperature. We use BaTiO3 as a high dielectric constant in many dielectric materials and more stable in the temperature, We need high temperature over 1300$^{\circ}C$ for the synthesis of BaTiO3 by the process of industrials and there are difficulty which synthesize a final products not to have a intermediate composition. So we studied to synthesize a pure BaTiO3 from the room temperature to 90$^{\circ}C$ and also to develop the process of synthesis which can control the particle size and which has the final product not to have a intermediate composition.

폴리카보네이트 폴리올/바이오 폴리올을 이용한 습식 인조피혁용 폴리우레탄의 제조 및 물성 (Preparation and Properties of Polyurethanes Containing Polycarbonate Polyol/Bio Polyol for Wet Type Artificial Leather)

  • 최근 재생자원으로부터 바이오 폴리올을 합성하는 것이 주목을 받고 있다. 특히 고분자의 합성에서 이러한 바이오 폴리올을 활용하는 것은 대단히 중요한 과제이다. 폴리카보네이트 폴리올/바이오 폴리올(PO3G: 옥수수 당의 발효에 의해 제조된 1,3-프로판 디올로부터 제조된 폴리트리메틸렌 에터 글리콜), 메틸렌디페닐디이소시아네이트 및 1,4-부탄디올을 사용하여 일련의 디메틸포름아미드(DMF) 기반 폴리우레탄을 합성하였다. 본 연구에서는 폴리우레탄 필름의 특성과 습식 인조피혁의 셀(cell) 특성을 조사하였다. 폴리카보네이트 폴리올/바이오 폴리올에서 바이오 폴리올의 함량이 증가할수록 폴리우레탄 필름의 인장강도는 감소하지만 연신율은 증가하였으며, 유리전이온도는 낮아짐을 알 수 있었다. 또한 습식공법에 의한 인조피혁 단면을 분석한 결과 폴리카보네이트 폴리올 함량이 증가함에 따라 인조피혁에 형성된 셀의 수와 균일성이 증가함을 알 수 있었다. 이 결과로부터 적정량의 바이오 폴리올을 사용한 DMF 기반 폴리우레탄의 경우에 충분히 인조피혁에 사용할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 바이오 탄소 함량은 폴리우레탄의 제조에 사용한 바이오 폴리올의 함량 증가에 따라 비례하여 증가하였다.

습식법에 의한 초미립 $SrTiO_3$ 분말 합성 (Synthesis of Submicron $SrTiO_3$ Powders by Wet Process)

  • Pure submicron $SrTiO_3$ powders had been synthesized with chemical wet process that $5N-NH_4OH$ solution was sprayed into the mixed solution of $SrTiO_3$, $TiCl_4$ and $H_2O_2$ with $N_2$ carrier gas. The characteristic properties of powders obtained from this experiment were as follows. The optimum synthesis condition in reaction bath was above PH 8.5 and under $25^{\circ}C$ The particle size of precipitated SrTiO(OH) powders dried at 6$0^{\circ}C$ was under 0.01${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ and uniform. Amorphous precipitated complex powders emitted adsorbed water at 15$0^{\circ}C$ less that and crystalline $SrTiO_3$powders was produced from calcining the complex at 30$0^{\circ}C$. Sintered body of SrTiO3 fired at 133$0^{\circ}C$ showed that relative dielectric constant was 228 at 1MHZ and bulk density was 4.73g/$cm^3$.
