  • 본 논문에서는 미세피치 프로브 카드 제작을 위한 S 모양의 일체형 외팔보 프로브 형성방법에 대하여 기술하였다. 마세 피치 프로브를 위하여 Deep RIE etching을 이용하여 실리콘 트렌치 안에 일체형 프로브 빔과 탑을 형성하는 방법을 사용하였고, 피라미드 팁의 형성을 위하여 KOH 및 TMAH 습식식각을 이용하였으며, 습식식각시 방향성을 가지는 실리콘 웨이퍼에서도 휘어진 형태의 프로브 빔을 형성할 수 있는 건식 식각 및 습식식각 방법을 제시하였다. 따라서 제작된 외팔보 형태의 프로브는 디렘(DRAM), 플레시 메모리 (Flash memory) 용 프로브 카드 제작에 사용될 뿐만 아니라 RF 소자용 프로브 카드, 아이씨 테스트 소켓 (IC test socket)용 프로브 탐침에도 사용 될 것이다.

Effect of bound water on mechanical properties of typical subgrade soils in southern China

  • From the effect of bound water, this study aims to seek the potential reasons for difference of mechanical experiment results of subgrades soils. To attain the comparatively test condition of bound water, dry forming (DF) and wet forming (WF) were used in the specimen forming process before testing, series of laboratory tests, i.e., CBR tests, direct shear tests and compaction tests. The measured optimal moisture contents, maximum dry densities, CBR, cohesion c, and internal friction angle 𝜑 were given contrastive analysis. Then to detect the adsorptive bound water in the subgrade soils, the thermal gravimetric and differential scanning calorimetry (TG-DSC) test were employed under different heating rates. The free water, loosely bound water and tightly bound water in soils were qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. It was found that due to the different dehydration mechanics, the lost bound water in DF and WF process show their own characteristics. This may lead to the different mechanical properties of tested soils. The clayey particles have a great influence on the bound water adsorbed ability of subgrade soils. The more the clay content, the greater the difference of mechanical properties tested between the two forming methods. Moreover, in highway construction of southern China, the wet forming method is recommended for its higher authenticity in simulating the subgrade filed humidity.

  • This paper resents a virtual forming system to simulate deep drawing process for stress-strain information by utilizing virtual system designed using Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) and computer aided analysis (CAE) tool. The CAE tool to calculate stress, strain, and deformation is designed using Finite Element Method. Stress distributions and deformation profiles as well as the operation of forming machine can be simulated and visualized in the web. The developed system consists of three modules, input module, virtual forming machine module, and output module. The input nodule was designed using HTML and ASP. The input data for FEM calculation is directed to the forming machine module for calculation. The results from the forming machine module can be visualized through output module as well as the forming process simulation.

습식공법으로 제조한 목탄-목재섬유복합재료의 에틸렌가스 흡착력과 과일 신선도 유지 효과 (Ethylene gas adsorption capacity and preserving effect of fruit freshness of Charcoal-fiberboard by wet forming process)

  • This research was carried out for packing materials and building materials to examine thylene gas adsorption and effect of keeping fruit fresh of wet formed charcoal-fiber mposite made from defibrated fiber of Pinus densiflora Sieb. et Zucc. and white charcoal from uercus variabilis Bl.(wood fiber: charcoal=8:2, 6:4, 4:6, 2:8), with/without phenol formaldehyde resin(PF, Non volatile content:$52\%$, resin content $1,3,5\%$). The results are summarized as follows: 1. The higher the charcoal content, the more the ethylene gas adsorption. At the same mixing ratio of fiber to charcoal, $\#100-200$ of charcoal particle size gave the better reslts than $\#60-100$. 2. Adding PF into the charcoal fiber composite decreased the capacity of ethylene gas adsorption but there was no significant difference until $5\%$ adding amount of PF. 3. For keeping fruit fresh for a long time, Charcoal fiber composite was $66\%$ longer than control. The higher the white charcoal content, the longer fresh time.

원주형 건식초지기를 이용한 건식초지 가능성 평가 (Feasibility Study of Dry Forming with Dry Forming Mould)

  • Cylindrical dry forming mould was developed to carry out a feasibility study of dry forming of papers. The effect of disintegration, forming, humidification and pressing on dry formed papers was examined. Dry disintegrated fibers showed the similar fiber length distribution to wet disintegrated fibers, but they showed distorsion and damaged appearance on the surface. Process parameters required to form a uniform fiber pad was investigated. A proper screening and air dispersion method was selected that gives proper formation. Humidification and pressing conditions were examined to get a good dry formed papers in dry forming. Results showed that dry forming method can be used to make a sheets with reasonable formation and properties.

초미세습식분쇄공정의 공정변수에 따른 해조칼슘의 입자크기 분석 (Preparation of Seaweed Calcium Microparticles by Wet-grinding Process and their Particle Size Distribution Analysis)

  • 습식분쇄의 최적조건을 얻고자 부형제 종류, 농도, 습식 분쇄시 rotor speed, bead size, feed rate, 분쇄회수를 달리하여 분쇄한 결과, 부형제로는 gum arabic을 사용하여 5%의 농도로 첨가할 때 가장 좋은 분쇄효과를 나타내었다. Rotor speed를 달리하여 습식분쇄한 결과, rotor speed가 증가할수록 좋은 결과를 나타내어 4,000 rpm에서 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 원료와 직접 부딪혀 분쇄를 하게 되는 bead는 0.4 mm의 크기를 사용하였을 때 가장 작은 사이즈로 분쇄되는 것으로 나타났다. 분쇄가 이루어지는 chamber내에 원료를 공급하는 비율에 따른 결과에서는 40 L/h 의 속도로 공급했을 때 가장 작은 입도분포를 보였다. 분쇄회수에 따른 영향은 횟수에 따라서는 8회 이상으로 분쇄하였을때 0.6 $\mu$m이하의 입도분포가 90% 이상으로 나타나 10회를 분쇄하였을때 가장 좋은 효과를 나타내었다. 연속운전과 비연속운전의 비교에서는 연속운전이 더 효율적이었으며 부형제 종류에 따른 영향은 gum arabic을 첨가하여 분쇄하였을때 가장 우수한 결과를 나타내었다. 따라서 적절한 농도와 종류의 부형제 사용과 rotor speed, bead size, feed rate, 용매와의 혼합비의 최적공정을 수립한 습식 분쇄기술로 초미세액상칼슘의 제조가 가능하였고, 습식분쇄기술을 식품가공기술로 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 확보하였다.

탈수소자에 의한 종이 미세구조 및 물성 변화 평가 (Evaluation of the Changes in Local Paper Structure and Paper Properties Depending on the Forming Elements Types)

  • The influence of different forming elements on the local paper structure and the related paper properties was investigated in this study. Specifically, a conventional papermaking foil system and a velocity induced drainage (VID) system were compared. The study involved the analysis of the product samples obtained from the commercial machine trials. The paper samples produced with VID forming systems showed better formation. The deterministic patter in the local structural profile map of the Foil samples indicated the structure of foil samples was more supple after forming process and then easier to be marked by various fabrics such as wet pressing fabric. The higher bulk was observed in the VID samples, which resulted in higher scattering coefficient, lower ZDT strength, and higher bending stiffness.

습식 펄프몰드 생산공정의 탈수성 향상을 위한 연구 (Improvement of Drainage at Wet Pulp Mold Process)

  • The greater Increase of the demand for environmental friendly materials especially for packaging industry leads to the larger interest in the reusable and recycable materials such as pulp mold. Although the pulp mold has great characteristics for packaging, some deficiency compared with other packaging material like EPS(Expandable Polystyrene) need to be overcome, for example, the relative higher cost. In this report, since the water drainage rate at the forming zone of a wet pulp mold process could have a great influence on the economical efficiency not only by increasing machine speed but also reducing the drying energy, the optimum ways for increasing drainage were investigated The mechanism of vacuum drainage In pulp mold forming was successfully evaluated by using RDA(Retention and Darinage Analyzer). Since the conditions of stock were greatly affected by the pulping time of low consistency pulper, the optimum pupling time was investigated with considerations of all stock preparation processes. The change of stock temperature and the addition of polyelectrolyte could improve the vacuum drainage rate. It was founded that the wire mesh types of mold former had a little influence on the retention because of the relatively mild vacuum drainage. However, the bigger size of dewatering hole showed better drainage rate and could reduce the plugging and con lamination of mold.

  • Pulp mold is one of the famous environmental friendly materials, which made from re cycled materials such as old newsprints through the environmental friendly processes. Furthermore, the used pulp mold can be easily recycled and the pulp mold itself is biodegradable. However, the higher cost and some deficiency in physical properties of pulp mold have been considered as issues to be overcome for a substitute for polymeric packaging materials such as EPS (Expandable Polystyrene). The way for the optimization of a pulp mold mill was proposed in this report. The possible reduction of drying energy was calculated by using a computer simulation method, which could Provide the detailed information about mass balance of overall process. The simulated results showed a great possible curtailment of production cost by improving the forming systems, for example, increasing the temperature and the dryness of a wet pulp mold.

습식분쇄하여 분무건조한 초미세 분말 칼슘의 품질특성 (Quality Characteristics of Spray Drying Microparticulated Calcium after Wet-grinding)

  • 해조칼슘을 습식분쇄한 초미세액상칼슘을 분무건조하여 부형제 종류에 따른 분말칼슘의 품질특성을 알아보고자 gum arabic, cyclodextrin, Na-caseinate를 첨가하여 품질특성을 비교하였다. 분무건조한 초미세분말칼슘의 수분함량은 2% 내외의 안정한 분말을 얻을 수 있었고, 색도는 원료인 해조칼슘보다 L값은 높았으며, b값은 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 입자크기는 당류의 부형제 첨가로 초미세 크기로 분쇄되는 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, gum arabic을 첨가하여 제조한 초미세액상칼슘을 분무건조한 분말이 식초와 pH에 대한 용해도에서 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 칼슘함량은 해조칼슘분말이 28%의 칼슘함량을 나타내었고, 부형제를 달리하여 제조한 초미세액상칼슘을 분무건조한 분말은 27% 내외로 비슷한 칼슘함량을 나타내어, 습식분쇄나 분무건조 공정에서 칼슘의 손실은 없는 것으로 나타났다. 흡습에 대한 안정성실험에서는 해조칼슘분말이 흡습에 안정하였으며, gum arabic을 첨가하여 분무건조한 분말이 흡습이 많이 발생하였다. 전자주사 현미경 관찰을 통하여 습식분쇄로 입자크기가 작아지는 것을 확인할 수 있었고, gum arabic을 사용하여 얻은 초미세칼슘분말이 단백질계나 사용하지 않았을 때보다 더 균일한 입자분포를 보였다. 따라서 습식분쇄한 초미세액상칼슘을 분말화하여 용해성등 품질특성이 개선됨을 확인하였으며 습식분쇄기술과 분무건조법을 식품가공기술로 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 확보하였다.
