Recent studies reveal that grip forces due to repeated mechanical vasocompressions are most significant for the genesis of vibration-induced which finger syndrome (VWF). Therefore, exerted grip force was regarded as a dependent variable in 2 experiments and the effects of noise and vibrations of different weighted acceleration levels were studied. Neither grip forces nor peripheral blood flow as indicated by finger skin temperature were influenced by noise or vibrations. the cause of VWF is therefore presumed to be a concomitant variable which correlates with weighted accelerations and with grip forces as well. A possible factor is the weight of hand-held vibrating tools.

The aim of this paper is to design a 3D laser radar prototype based on laser triangulation. The mathematical model of distance sensitivity is deduced; a pixel-distance conversion formula is discussed and used to complete 3D scanning. The center position extraction algorithm of the spot is proposed, and the error of the linear laser, camera distortion and installation are corrected by using the proposed weighted average algorithm. Finally, the three-dimensional analytic computational algorithm is given to transform the measured distance into point cloud data. The experimental results show that this 3D laser radar can accomplish the 3D object scanning and the environment 3D reconstruction task. In addition, the experiment result proves that the product of the camera focal length and the baseline length is the key factor to influence measurement accuracy.

In the field of 'Human Vibration', it has been interested subjects to make equal sensation curves related to translational and rotational direction of whole-body, hand-transmitted and head-transmitted vibration, etc. When we consider the vibration of a vehicle, the main factor is vertical whole-body vibration. Until now, most of equal sensation curves used to derive frequency weighting function had been made using Western people. However, because of the inherent differences (for example, characteristic and shape of body parts, muscular and cellular tissue) between the Western people and the Oriental people, equal sensation curves based on Oriental people might be required. Also, the weight differences between the samples which consist of average-weighted and over-weighted group might cause the difference of equal sensation curves. So, in this study, 20 male Korean people were used to find equal sensation curves subject to vertical whole-body vibration on seated posture. Among 20 males, an over weighted group consisted of 10 male persons and an average weighted group was the others. Integrating and analyzing the data of two groups, some of non-parametric tests such as 'The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test' and 'The Mann Whitney U test' were used.

The river bank is one of the most important structure of fluvial hydraulic structure. Because the breaking of river bank is the cause of calamity, the durability and stability of river bank an very important factors. The breaking of river bank is the cause of the overflow of flood and the leakage of river bank. In this study, we investigated the leakage of river bank using the resistivity probing and estimated the volume of leakage using the weighted residual method The study basin of this study is the upstream of Sumji river basin and the factor of river bank is length 300 m and berm 2.0 m and width 4.5 m and height 4 m. We evaluated the leakage of river basin using using the resistivity probing and estimated the leakage volume using the weighted residual method. The result of this study, the leakage of river bank generated at the point of 39~45 m 80~90 m. 218~222 m. 214~250 m and the type of leakage is the rectangle and the polygon. And the leakage volume of this points evaluated 2.7$\times$$10^{-3}$$\textrm{m}^3$/sec.

For many years, engineers in the field of acoustics have used the A-weighted sound pressure level (SPL). Since they were interested just in a reduction of noise, the A-weighted SPL was considered good enough to quantify noise problems. This is reasonable because loudness is usually the most important parameter for most noise problems and A-weighted SPL is often reasonably well correlated with loudness. As the overall noise levels drop, however, other parameters become more important and must be considered, Advent of sound quality came from an understanding that A-weighted SPL only reflects the loudness of a sound. It is obviously impossible to characterize a complex sound with a single number. Although product mostly has revealed physical quantities created by the standpoint of engineers, consumers perceive and evaluate products on the non-physical characteristics, such as feelings, emotions, and experiences in different social and cultural situations. Especially, for the household appliances for instance air-conditioner or refrigerator, the sound is heavily related to the satisfaction of a customer who is a real user of the product and is very important factor to decide purchasing as well as visual design. Therefore, in this research, the general tendency of consumer's psychology was investigated for the appliances. And also, in order to obtain clear guidelines fur sound manipulation, the characteristics of the sound of air-conditioning systems and refrigerators were compared with competitors'. since it is important to overcome the discrepancy between engineering and marketing, the relevance of sound manipulation must be documented from the consumer's perspective. That is the reason why we conducted a consumer and marketing oriented study.

In market-basket analysis, weighted association rule(WAR) discovery can mine the rules which include more beneficial information by reflecting item importance for special products. However, when items are divided into more than one group and item importance for each group must be measured by different measurement or separately, we cannot directly apply traditional weighted association rule discovery. To solve this problem, we propose a novel methodology to discovery the weighted association rule in this paper In this methodology, the items should be first divided into sub-groups according to the properties of the items, and the item importance is defined or calculated only with the items enclosed to the sub-group. Our algorithm makes qualitative evaluation for network risk assessment possible by generating risk rule set for risk factor using network sorority data, and quantitative evaluation possible by calculating risk value using statistical factors such as weight applied in rule generation. And, It can be widely used for new model of more delicate analysis in market-basket database in which the data items are distinctly separated.

It is difficult to satisfy the QoS(Quality of Service) guarantee which is required by real-time application services only with the Best-Effort(BE) service adopted in the current Internet. Therefore, worldwide research is being made on the method of QoS provisioning. Among them, the QoS guarantee mechanism using the Diffserv(Differentiated Service) was discussed in this paper. First we analyzed how the DiffServ performance was affected by traffic models. For this, we performed the research for the random, bursts, and self-similar traffic modeling method. We then designed and implemented an OPNET simulator, and performed the simulation 7d performance evaluation for diverse input parameters. Based on the results of performance evaluation, it was confirmed that QoS guarantee is possible for the EF(Expedited Forwarding) class with the DiffServ function under every environments considered and the service separation between EF and BE(Best Effort) classes is also possible. We also analyzed the performance variation and dynamic behavior of DiffServ mechanism based on the resource allocation between E? and BE classes in WFQ(Weighted Fair Queueing).
The Banking industry is expanding rapidly. To keep the competitive advantages, participating companies concentrate their resource to provide the distinguishable services by increasing the service quality. This study is to find that how three kinds of service quality(process, output, and service environment) affect on the customer satisfaction. In this paper, WPCSI (Weighted Potential Customer Satisfaction Index) was developed using Kano model and PCSI. Kano's model of service quality classification was used to improve customer satisfaction, customer satisfaction index was calculated. Customer satisfaction index was calculated using the existing potential for improving customer satisfaction index (PCSI Index) to complement the limitations of the weighted potential improve customer satisfaction index (WPCSI) were used. Analysis using PCSI improve the quality of service levels may be useful in assessing. However, this figure is a marginal degree of importance on customers and quality characteristics have been overlooked but has its problems. A service provided to customers with some important differences depending on the interpretation of the scope for improvement is to be classified. In other words, the level of customer satisfaction and the satisfaction of the current difference between the comparison factor for the company to provide information about the priority of the improvement was not significant. Companies are also considered important that the customer does not consider the uniform quality of service provided can be fallible. In this study, the weighted potential to improve it improve customer satisfaction index (WPCSI) proposed a new customer satisfaction index. This is for customers to recognize the importance of quality characteristics by weighting factors, to identify practical and improved priority to provide more useful information than has been. Weighted potentially improve customer satisfaction index (WPCSI) presented in this study by the customers aware of the importance of considering the quality factor is an exponent. The results, 'Employees' working ability', 'provided the desired service level', 'staff to handle this task quickly enough' to the customer of the factors had significant effects on satisfaction are met. On the other hand 'aggressiveness on the product description of employees', 'service environment as a whole, beautiful enough to' meet and shows no significant difference between satisfaction. But 'aggressiveness on the product description of employees' and reverse (逆) were attributable to the quality. Small dogs and overly aggressive products that encourage the customer dissatisfaction that can result in widening should be careful because the quality factor can be said. As a result, WPCSI is more effect to find critical factors which can affect customer satisfaction than PCSI. After that, we discuss effects and advantages of customer satisfaction using WPCSI. This study, along with these positive aspects, the limitations are implied. First, this study directly to the bank so that I could visit any other way for customers, utilizing the Internet or mobile to take advantage of the respondents were excluded from the analysis. Second, in survey questionnaires can help improve understanding of the measures will be taken. In addition to the survey targeted mainly focused on Seoul, according to a sample, so sampling can cause problems is the viscosity revealed intends.

This paper presents an application to a multimachine power system of power system stabilizer using revised pole shift adaptive algorithm. Controller parameters are determined by using adaptive control theory in order to maintain optimal operation of generator under the various operating conditions. To determine the optimal parameters of controller and overcome the problem of pole placement algorithm, this paper presents pole shift algorithm revised pole shift factor. Also, the difference between the speed deviation with weighted factor and voltage deviation is used as the input signal of adaptive controller, which provides good damping characteristics. The results tested on a multimachine power system verify that the proposed controller has better dynamic and transient performance than conventional controller.

Weight functions in fracture mechanics represent the stress intensity factors as weighted averages of the externally impressed boundary tractions and body forces. We extended the weight function theory for cracked linear elastic materials to calculate the notch stress intensity factor of a notched structure with anti-plane deformation. The well-known method of deriving weight functions by differentiation cannot be used for notched structures. By combining an appropriate singular field with a regular field, we derived weight functions for the notch stress intensity factor. Closed expressions of weight functions for notched cylindrical bodies are given as examples.
